Came here for lunch today. I won't be coming back ever after my experience. The service was so unprofessional and rude. I was sat with my party against the glass in the corner of the room. We had a table to our right and behind us. We waited a long time and were seated before the other tables. The server (Gary: wears glasses, blonde hair) took the orders and helped the tables surrounding us and ignored us every time we tried to get help. We asked the host to help us bc we wanted to order food and even though he would talk to different servers to help us we were neglected a majority of the time. Gary eventually came back and told us he's not our server so he's not going to attend to us. I waved down another female server and told her we asked for water refills a while ago and no one came back, we just want water. She then left and told our real server we want water, but even she didn't help us. The overall culture and vibe of this place is that you shouldn't expect anyone to help you unless they are specifically your server. Don't even try to ask anyone else for help because they'll say no and ignore you. I'm so shocked at how unprofessional the workers are. I placed an order online through their website and went through the whole process, after waiting like 5 minutes and completed my order and my payment to received a message and an email saying your order was missed and they charged my card. Sunday Brunch time around 1pm . Food was mediocre , got the spam breakfast sandwich spam was barely warmed up no crisp or browning at all , avocado squished out and it was a mess to eat . when i went yesterday during the 105 degree weather, I noticed that it was almost just as hot inside as it was outside. since i was sitting by the thermostat, i noticed that the temperature inside was 88 degrees which seems way too high during a heat wave (or any other day really). the food was great, as always, but the experience due to the heat and lack of consistent service (having to flag servers down for more coffee after 30 min) made me not want to return for a bit. read more

I stopped in for lunch, alone. Knowing the location in Burbank I had high expectations and was not disappointed in anyway. Today I had the Early Bite Burrito. it came to the table quickly, on a sizzling hot plate, and was fluffy on the inside yet filled with the bacon, sausage, etc. I had mentioned to the server that it would be more than I could eat and it was thoughtful enough to bring a to go box along with a meal. that bit of thoughtfulness motivated me to bring a little bit of it home to my husband for dinner tonight. We've been lovers of Bea Bea's for some time, they're one of our go to brunch places. But unfortunately with these price increases, I can't say we'll be back soon. It didn't help that on this time back, they were out of so much... no breakfast potatoes, no hash browns, no toast, no bananas, no blueberries, etc. and we had to pay full price our entrees that were missing the included sides and key ingredients. We were a bit surprised they were open with how many things they were missing. And the costs of everything seemed to have gone up a couple dollars since we were here a couple months ago. 6 dollars for plain coffee? With a Starbucks and independent coffee shop right across the intersection? Wild. This place isn't quite nice enough to justify that. Service however was excellent as always. I am such a fan of Bea Bea's but I've only been to the location in Burbank. This is my first time visiting the Glendale location and might be my last. Started off nicely. It was a 30 minute wait to be seated inside but I was given the choice to be seated outside right away. So although it was very cold, I accepted a patio table. From the time I was seated it took 20 minutes for our drink order to be taken. From there, we waited another 25 minutes for our 2 coffee orders. We didn't have any water and when our coffee finally came, I asked for sugar, was given sugar but no spoon or stirrer. The food (1 burrito and 1 order of pancakes) was brought to us 10 minutes later. But still no utensils or napkins. I had to look for a server (ours wasn't anywhere to be found) to ask for utensils. Before I could ask for anything else he left and I still had to ask for condiments. To summarize (from time we were seated) : 20 mins to order, 45 mins to get our coffee and 55 mins to get our food. Then another 20 mins to get our check. And another 10-15 mins to get our credit card back. Not once were we asked how we were doing, how our food was or if there was anything we needed. I felt like they wanted us in and out as quickly as possible and didn't make me enjoy my time there. For as busy as this place is I just think they're understaffed which affects the overall experience and quality. It seemed like everyone was in such a rush that we couldn't get a word in which added to additional wait times which is frustrating. I think I will stick to the Burbank location. Even though it's much busier and the wait a lot longer, I think the service, food and experience is much better. read more

I would say the best thing I had here were the breakfast potatoes. Waffles were esthetically-pleasing but spongy. Overall fair experience. Service was good and attentive, but odd that the server placed a used plate on our table while taking our order to save time having to go to the kitchen and coming back. Never seen that before. I've heard bea bea's is one of the best breakfast / brunch place in our area, Glendale so I decided to give it a try. I ordered Thomas loco moco and hazelnut latte. Thomas loco moco was totally amazing, good amount of serving. The gravy was so creamy and the egg and beef was cooked just perfectly.
