Love this place so many options & I've never had a bad experience!! They're good always hits the spot this will forever be my favorite spot

Management at this location needs to do a better job with scheduling staff the restaurant. We came on a Friday morning (around 10am). Fifteen minutes prior to arriving to the restaurant, we joined their wait list on yelp. They were so busy that it took us 10 min to check in with a host. After 10 minutes of waiting, we finally had a chance to check in. At this time, she informed us that their Yelp was not working at the moment so she added us to the list. Parties that arrived after us (we were just 2 people) were seated before us. I've worked in the food industry and customer service before so I am usually extremely patient in situations like this. It was obvious that the restaurant was understaffed and extremely unorganized. The food tasted mediocre. I ordered Pooh's Sunrise which came with eggs, bacon, and waffles. It was fine - you can't really mess up a simple order like that. The only downside is that the waffles didn't come out until we had already finished eating the rest of the food. So excited about this second location! I'm a big fan of the Burbank one and have been waiting for the Glendale one to finally open. We arrived without a reservation at 11am on a Sunday and were given an estimated 20 minute wait but ended up getting seated in maybe 5 minutes. Our orders were taken immediately and we were regularly checked on. The waitress apologized for the food taking a while but honestly I thought it was a totally reasonable one for a busy brunch place on a weekend. This location has more seating and room than the Burbank one including some outdoor tables. There's a Public Parking Lot across the street (California) that was only $3 for 2 hours. The food was delicious as it always is at the Burbank location, and the receipt was actually itemized unlike the Burbank one so it's easier to split a bill. The workers are soooooooo rude and unprofessional!! I came here for gluten free and diary free pancakes and they told me on the phone they can make them gluten and vegan. Then this other guy came and basically yelled at me saying they didn't have gluten and vegan and that the guy doesn't know what he's talking about. I would never be returning! read more

Horrendous, extremely disrespectful and rude associate at the bar counter. I arrived here during normal business hours at 2:28 PM which is 32 minutes before they close (3:00 PM) and was told by the bar counter employee who was a "she" that they are closed. Beyond poor management and ownership as the workers are disrespectful and don't want to cater to their patrons that are trying to patronize their business. This place deserves the worst review possible because they advertise that they close at 3 PM and when I walked in at 2:28 PM I was told that they were already closed and last call is at 2:30 PM and I corrected the associate by saying that it is 2:28 PM and that that on Yelp they advertised that it closes at 3 PM and she simply responded with an unnecessary smirk on her ruthless face that last call was at 2:30 and I told her that you do realize that it's not 2:30 yet and the current time is 2:28 PM. What is the issue? I just told her that you might wanna be more upfront and update your hours and say that you close at 2:30 PM instead of lying to your customers and posting online that you close at 3 PM. We used to go quite regularly to the Bea Bea's in Burbank before the pandemic. Now we order takeout from the Glendale location and it is just as delicious as ever. Their specialty pancakes and waffles are crazy good and are a bargain when ordered as part of either the Pooh's Surprise or the Kin's Sunshine combo as $2 upgrades. read more

This is what Glendale needed for a long time. If your searching for delicious pancakes you will not find a better place also the coffee is great.. The breakfast overall is the best part of the menu, and the lunch is very good for a place that has lots of competition in the area. The staff is friendly and the service is good. I like the outdoor better than the indoor but that's just my preference. read more

The food was delicious. My parents and I came to the restaurant on Sunday at noon, so of course the wait was super long for brunch. We waited about half an hour before the three of us were seated. I order a flight set of pancakes ($16.00) of Summer Dream, Matcha, and Strawberry Brownie. The portions were very filling, so we had to take a to-go box home. Because the restaurant was packed, our server did not bring the orange juice, but it was fine since our food was good! Just be wary of long waits. read more

Best breakfast around where we live. The staff is always amazing and advice is great, they have the best pancakes I have had. All the rest of the breakfast menu if good as well. We go as a family every Sunday and my daughter loves the pancake and crispy bacon! You should try this place! read more

I'm not usually that into sweets, but you need to try their specialty sweet breakfast items. Oh. My. God. Thai tea pancakes: impeccable. We got a croissant french toast with strawberries and a cream cheese sauce. Holy cow. The savory food we tried was good too, but I recommend getting the dessert breakfast items with their lattes. They had really great coffee here as well. I don't remember the service being memorable, but being that we ate here while we had to dine outdoors, it was pouring rain, and it was extremely busy, I'd give them another chance with the service because the food was that good. read more

I have been to Bea Bea's three times now. My first time was in January (pre-covid) and it was absolutely amazing. I and my friends went for breakfast and the ambiance, staff, and food was amazing! Fast-forward to June, I decided to order to-go because I missed their food. The food was drastically different, very subpar, and they messed up everyone's orders! Whole parts of meals were missing from our orders . This was very disappointing but I finally decided to give them another chance and dine-in. This was a huge mistake because I was sourly disappointed! When we were sat at our table, we were given our drink orders right away. But then no one ever came back for our food. After 30 minutes of patiently waiting, we flagged down 2 people and each time they wouldn't come back. Finally someone took our orders (45 minutes later) after people around us that came after had already gotten their food! We waited another 30 minutes to get our food at which point everyone that had come after us was now done eating! we decide to have it to go because it was just ridiculous how we were given such poor service. At some point we wanted to just pay for our drinks and leave but decided to just wait for the food because it was almost ready abd would go to waste. Never going there again and will not recommend. read more

Thoroughly disappointed. Menu looked great but quality isn't. It seems they're using the cheapest ingredients. I swear the cheese on my omelet came from a $0.99 pack if American cheese. Also don't sit near the door. Constand door slamming gets annoying pretty quickly. read more

Pancakes pancakes pancakes. Oh so moist, fully stacked and available in a wide variety of fantastical options...with blueberries and whipped cream with chocolate drizzle? Sure. Bananas, macadamia nuts and honey? Of course! No combination no es imposible! Mind you, the time I was here with my SO, we sort of got into a quarrel but that awful memory won't stop us from coming back to Bea Bea's for brunch! meh... the idea is great: Asian Diner food. Well at least that's what I got from it. It's your typical diner food but with influences from Asian cuisine. Thai tea pancakes, Green tea pancakes, you get the idea. The food isn't bad, it's just not that good. The service is average. It's just a letdown, bc the concept is great, but the execution isn't as much. At least not at the Glendale location. The Burbank one is definitely better. Oh and if the owner is reading this, please taper down the menu. NO ONE WANTS A MILLIONS ITEMS TO CHOOSE FROM. Get the favorites and some other keepers or classics and stick those on a menu and maybe the consistency and quality of your food will go up. Don't "Cheesecake Factory" your menu.
