Went here few days ago during the week and it was great no wait time was seated right away. Drink order was taken within minutes and right after food order. I've been going to Bea Bea's in Burbank for a few years now. Always loved it! The location in Glendale opened a little while ago and I was excited to try it out. I stopped in and ordered my usual Pooh's Sunrise (amazing deal) with the Summer's Dream pancakes for $2 more. The pancakes are the best (the french toast not so much) so worth it and the bacon and eggs are great. Big portions and quality food. The only issue I have with this place is you lose the homey feel of the Burbank location. Feels more like a IHOP offshoot then a hidden gem hole in the wall type place, not enough to take a star off though. read more

As a long time fan of the BeaBeas location in Burbank, I was a little hesitant to try the Glendale location. Not to worry! This location was just as yummy as the original location! And the service was top notch, we both ordered something not quite on the menu, and our server didn't skip a beat, In fact he helped us get just what we wanted. Their pancakes and waffles remain some of the best in LA area, portions are generous, coffee is excellent and hard to beat the variety they offer in breakfast dishes, pancakes, especially. I have never seen a more ridiculous online ordering system where you choose the items to be ordered and wait good 10 min for it to process and even get charged and at the end they cannot take your order because they are busy. Two stars because the food is great! Yes great but didn't give them at least four because customer service is disgusting!! I was told wait time was 30-40 min. Perfect I waited in my car no problem. I was sat within 30 min. I witnessed three parties were sat after my son & I. NO ONE was helping us so after 15- 20 min I nicely asked a female sever if should get us someone to take our order she interrupted me and with a really bad attitude told me " I have to take care of other customers too, they were here before you" I'm not dumb I noticed who sat after me so I asked nicely for another server. It's busy and I totally understand, I work for a busier restaurant and we take customer service very serious no matter how busy we are. The Hispanic workers are so nice I wish they served me instead. I was here to have a good brunch with my son but honestly it was such a bad experience. No wait. No noise. No hassle. The menu is diverse. Lots of egg dishes and even more pancake options. I had the no scramble which was a glorious combination of home fries and veggies with cheese on top. My beloved spouse had apple pancakes with sliced almonds. The service was competent and friendly. Neither our water nor our coffee went without refills. We had a lovely morning. The space is light, and cheery. We sat at the counter because we wanted to read our newspaper. All in all, a good experience....not even today's grim news could put a damper on our outing. read more

Sat. 12/28/19 around 10am- I was excited to have this in my neighborhood since we used to go to the one in Burbank location, sorry my review on that wasn't so great either. This is our first time at this Glendale location and was pleased that the restaurant was CLEAN being it in the new condo building. We were sat at the table on the left against the wall near the window. So when you enter the restaurant it's on the left. Such an UNPLEASANT experience. The two topper table in the center against the wall was a DISASTER!!! The server and bus boy kept hitting me/my chair as they serve the other tables next to me, worst they sat 5 people next to us, we were like packed like a sardine!!! Such utter discomfort! I so badly want to like this establishment again since I was mainly going for the Matcha pancakes, which were btw super SWEET! and wasn't light or fluffy at all. Breakfast potatoes were SALTY. Sooo I'm done with BeaBea both Burbank and Glendale! Plus last time we were in Burbank I found hair in my Matcha pancakes. So Bea-yeee! Technically zero star here. read more

We are huge fans of the original location. So we were super excited to visit this new one. We ordered our usual orders and the wait seemed way too long. After an hour after ordering we still had not gotten our food! When we asked the staff, they scrambled and were quick to fix the error. Someone had forgotten to submit the order. Now, that was not so much the reason for my 1 Star. What angered me and really pissed me off was the rest of the staff coming up and blaming ONE person. One lady said "sorry she is a little slow and special" that gave me so much anger! Regardless of people's special needs and ability, you are a team and should never negate your team! You should also never speak about a coworkers language ability or special needs. Management needs to have a talk with their staff. They did not treat the staff member at fault for the rest of our visit. We are human and mistakes happen. I was outraged and utterly upset. read more

My friend and I have been going to Bea Bea's Burbank location for a while and we wanted to try out the Glendale location. First they made us wait 48 minutes for the food. Then the food comes out and there is a hair in my friend's burrito. We look around and no one is wearing a hair net in the kitchen and everyone else either has loose ties or hair all over. Then we tell the waitress (who was very nice) about the hair and she takes the food away. We try to eat our food again but we're so disgusted that we were not able to eat anything. We each took maybe 6 bites and we asked for the check and they tell us that they can only cancel the order with the hair in it. Then When I asked to see the manager she said she can take the drinks out even through she saw that we did not eat anything. We paid and left but first, everyone should be wearing a hair net and second, if you make us wait 48 mins to bring our food out, at least bring food that doesn't have other people's sweat and hair in it. We will never go back to either of the locations and I'm so disappointed. read more

It seems no one knows what to do where to go n what's going on.The food was not yummy at all in stead no flavor very over priced. The service was lacking in every way. The severs etc were going around like chickens without heads didn't know which end was up. Amazing breakfast spot! I ordered the breakfast flight to get an idea of what I like when ordering here and I would say the Superstar is a standout! Loved loved loved it!! I would order that daily if weight gain weren't an issue. The hashbrowns were tasty and seasoned. My brother ordered the Peach pancakes which were also amazing! That's so not okay, like yes I understand it can get busy but the fact that the wait time was THAT off, unacceptable. Parking isnt great either, its Glendale.
