You're deserts have got to be the worst, you once had a glass case with wonderful pies and cakes great variety of sweets, as we were finishing dinner the waitress said it was no longer offered as I looked at the cold case it looked empty with a few dried muffins not appetizing at all, then I noticed a woman walking by coming out of the back of the house So I asked her about the deserts in the case, in a snippy tone she said "you can go to the buffet and get a whole cake or pie "we don't sell enough, I told her I will write a letter to the hotel and ask them to bring them back, again in a snippy tone she said it will not do you any good it will never happen, it won't change anything, As she was leaving I noticed her badge F and B manager I wasn't aware attitude was part of the job description. Weirdest Taco Salad that I have ever had. Salad in a tortilla shell, but absolutely no salsa, picante, avocado, Mexican seasonings, or anything else that would remind you of Mexican food other than the shell. The salad consisted of iceberg lettuce, cooked chicken (with no spices added to it), shredded carrots, and blue cheese dressing on the side. It was fresh tasting, but it reminded me of something that a 10 year old would make. I'm being very generous with a two star rating. read more

My in-laws and I met friends for a late morning meal. On entering entrance is very narrow and the seating for waiting is not adequate. However once seated the tables and chairs are comfortable there themed in a tropical decor. Our server was friendly and efficient. I wanted to healthy start breakfast which came out perfect. The fruit cup was filled with big slices of melon & pineapple. My ice tea was in a big huge tumbler. The chicken breast was larger than average size and grilled to perfection with a light but tasty seasoning. The hashbrowns were a little greasy and could've been prepared crispier. Overall a good value for my meal. My wife ordered a club sandwich with marble bread, Turkey ham and roast beef filled her sandwich. The service was average. read more

I must say this was the worst food my husband and I have ever tasted. Restaurant is open. I ordered the California omelet, and my husband ordered the French Dip. My omelet was hard, had no taste, and the avocado I couldn't eat because it was do hard. It was gross! But my poor husband food was worst than mine. The roast beef had a bad smell, and looked like it had been sitting out side for a month. My husband took one bite, and said he couldn't eat it. Food like this will get customers sick, very sick. Last night I had a chopped chef salad. The portion was gigantic, literally falling off the plate. Part of it was chopped and part not, kinda defeating the unique blend of a chopped salad. I ordered eggs over easy and dry wheat toast for breakfast. My eggs were overcooked, and my toast burnt. I took a pic, and the manager came and asked me if all was okay. Over 60 reviews and this is my first 1 star. The Beach Cafe is Harrah's version of a coffee shop -- a standard menu 24-hour casual dining experience. Decent coffee shops can either be inexpensive and competent, or moderately-priced and a bit more than competent. Or they can be like the Beach Cafe. The big problem here -- and it is the size of a brontosaurus -- is the food. Imagine corned beef hash made up of frozen diced potatoes that they forgot to cook and pulverized chunks of corned beef rag tag ends. Better still - don't imagine it, it will just ruin your appetite. And as for the pork ribs: don't order them unless you are young and ambitious because you will need very strong teeth to chew them. When I sent them back, the waitress called for the manager. The manager was very nice. I got a cup of chili on the house. It was like a thin refried bean soup with a few bits of beef -- I only ate it because the alternate was having the manager fussing over me again. And now for the kicker. At the end of the dinner, the manager came back and offered me something for my breakfast the next morning -- a cookie or brownie. Then she remember they had muffins. She was thrilled. She told me how great they were, AND they were frozen so they would be good when they were thawed out the next morning. Big surprise -- I guess just about everything they have is frozen, bought from a cut rate supplier, and heated up (or not) by bored cooks. P.S. I declined the muffins and took the brownie. She gave me a dozen. They tasted just like a very cheap frozen chocolate cake with no icing or nuts. Sorry, Beach Cafe, you need a lot of help. read more

First time in laughlin. My girlfriend and I stayed at harrahs for the night and decided to eat at the Beach Cafe. I ordered the blandest chicken fried steak I've ever had. The waitress looked miserable. She didn't want to be there. She wasn't inviting at all. And once we paid the girl at the register was equally miserable. She was really rude. Would not recommend this to anyone. The valet was the best, the guys there were extremely nice and welcoming. read more

Had breakfast here. Prices are too high! Cup of coffee is 4 bucks. Waitress was very accommodating. We split an omlet . California omelet was 15.99. If you want any cheese it's extra of course. In my opinion the Cafe is just okay. read more

Extremely average. Would eat it again, but not great. We went there twice while staying. Girlfriend got the Caesar salad the lettuce wasn't that fresh and she only ate some of it. Can I just say Don't Even Think About It. We stopped here after driving 8 hours. It looked decent but looks can be deceiving. We ordered our meals and beverages. The waitress brought out a salad and set it in front of me. So assuming it came with my meal I ate it. When our food came she sat the wrong plate in front of me. Let's be clear. This is diner food in a Laughlin hotel. That said, it was very good. I'm vegan and the cooks had NO PROBLEM whipping me up food that I wanted. we went here twice, once for breakfast and once for lunch. For breakfast I asked if they could sautee a bunch of veggies in oil, with hashbrowns and avocado, the delivered and it was delicious, just enough, and they DID NOT overcharge me for ordering off menu- my breakfast was cheaper than my friends breakfast combo and I was filled until after lunch! For dinner I had a portabella mushroom sandwhich with fries and it was right on point. The BEST part about this place- what really brings them to 4 stars is the service. Lavonne is great, and two other gentlemen servers that helped me (one at breakfast, one at lunch) are awesome. read more

The food here is horrible, a 1 1/2 star at best. The other star was for Billy with a "Y" as he calls himself simply because he was a great waiter - we could have talked to him all day long. Plus, he does not have much control over the menu right? I saw what was coming out of the kitchen while sitting in this truck-stop atmosphere, and as starving as I was, just settled on a chef's salad (sooo boring) and a few of hubby's fries to get me through the "meal" (DO NOT get the gravy - yuck!). We were offered 2 samples of soup to try - clam chowder which was cold and an overall FAIL as well as the cream of asparagus - also a FAIL. I mean, c'mon, we are Yelpers! I have to be honest! Hubby had a club sandwich which he claimed it to be OK but he has a tummy of steel. This place was for Desperados like us that just needed to grab a bite when Rotten Ronnys was the only other option. THE NICEST SERVERS EVER!!! We stayed at Harrahs because it was a dog friendly hotel. We just adopted our doggie and didn't want to leave him long periods of time alone in the room. Beach cafe, located at the harrahs hotel, allowed us to have a table where our doggie was allowed. They even brought us water for him. The servers were nice, funny, kind to our children and patient with them. The food was yummy and quick. We would definitely go back. read more

This was the best place I found to eat in Laughlin! Price wise it's also the best deal. The portions are big!!! We arrived around 6pm for dinner on Saturday 02/07/15 as a party of 4. I like that this restaurant is 24 hours. I think it's pricey on some of the menu items. The club sandwich with fries could feed 2 people. They did have a nice selection of food on the late night menu. Overall just average "bar" food. Nothing to write home about. read more

I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality and taste of the food and the attentiveness of the staff. My server, Billy, took time to explain the all you can eat pasta special and reminded me to use my players card to get points. I was really impressed that he knew all of his customers by name and that they knew him too. He treated everyone as though they were family. I have never been as impressed by any server in any restaurant. He really is a customer service superstar and an asset to Caesars Entertainment. Horrible service, horrible food, and dirty environment. The waitress was rude and inattentive. I had to ask 3 or 4 times for water. They weren't busy, and the service was very slow. The food was bland. I had the Eggs Benedict and the hollandaise sauce had no flavor, it was like water. Also had mozzarella sticks. I came here with family yesterday for brunch. It was about 20 minutes til lunch time and they wouldn't let us order from the lunch menu. So we ordered as follows: My sister in law ordered the ham breakfast, my mother in law and I ordered the country fried steak, my father in law ordered the corned beef and hash, and my husband ordered the breakfast burrito. My sis in law's ham breakfast was two plates. The ham took up a plate of it's own. It was a very nice sized slab of ham for breakfast. I didn't really get a review out of her, but she did seem to enjoy it. My mother in law and I had both agreed on the blandness of the country fried steak. It lacked flavor and the meat was really dry. I found myself adding pepper and ketchup to almost everything. My father in law had an amazing experience with his choice of the corned beef hash. My husband's review of his burrito was great. It came with fresh avocado on top of the burrito. It was fairly large too. Overall I give this place a 3 star review. I ordered food to go before midnight on a Sunday when paid I asked the lady for a receipt and she said I did not need one. This is the second time that I have ordered from her and was unable to get a receipt. Seems kind of weird and definitely unprofessional. The food was awful; my veggie burger was still half frozen, the bun rock hard and not to mention the cold frenchfries. The pizza was salted which is weird.
