I tried this place after several trips to harrahs and was not too entirely impressed. First of all, the food was actually really good and I loved the atmosphere (old school surfer theme.) Besides that it was a little less than what I expected for how much I paid for my food. There was no wait which was good. However, we got sat right away but then didn't see our waitress for about 15 minutes. Im my opinion thats way too long of a wait for a $14 meal. She seemed like she was new and forgot several little things. I asked for extra blue cheese for my salad twice and didn't get it. Arrived @ 11am Saturday morning to catch breakfast ordered the Benedict the place was not busy at all, worst Hollandaise sauce I've had... looked and tasted like it was from a powdered mix even had small lumps in it. 10 mns went by before I could locate the waiter as he never came to us (Losanro). I asked him to replace this with corned beef hash and poached eggs. When that arrived the eggs were cold, again Losandro never came to ask how everything was nor if he could refresh our drinks just food dropped and gone. Much later he brought the bill never asked if everything was ok or if the replacement breakfast was acceptable or even to apologize for the kitchens mistake. I reviewed the bill he charged for the slightly more expensive Benedict sent back not the CBH eaten, when I asked to see the manager after a several minutes he returned to say she was too busy to come to my table I had to go to the register where she was. When I spoke with Liz, the supervisor tending the register, she said "I'm sorry I'll speak to him" and comp'd one breakfast, She couldn't have shown any less empathy somehow in her mind that seemed perfectly accepted for a customer experience and her "sorry" should be more than enough to quell the situation. Losandro seemed like a nice guy who I feel sorry for him as I assume he was never properly trained. Whomever decided Liz should have any supervisory authority is a fool. Whomever is the person in charge of this restaurant clearly has ZERO customer service experience as top to bottom this ranks in the top 3 worst dining experiences I've had. I'll be calling their corporate office Monday. What a total disaster... I've never seen a more poorly run business in customer service where product and service both were so abysmal. read more

Very limited menue. Food is passable as long as you are either drunk or hungry. Service is ok except if you get Maria. She is quite good and personable she is the best server there. The rye toast is excellent as is the eggs benedict. They also offer half serving of eggs benedict. Prices are ok for a casino. Only place you can go to 24 hours to eat in the casino unless of course you want to jump in a cab or your car and go to claim jumpers at the golden nugget for better prices and better food.. read more

You will always find the most pleasant employees here especially the lady who seats you and the cashiers. I have had breakfast and lunch here about a dozen times and always have had excellent service. The food is pretty good for a cafe. We like the soups especially the french onion soup. read more

We ate here twice during our April visit; once for breakfast and the other a late night snack. Both trips were good, no complaints. I had the French Dip sandwich and it was very tender. Breakfast service was excellent, and we got our food within ten minutes or less. We would go back again on a return trip. I had a salad and my fiance had a sandwich and soup. The food was really good and I didn't have expectations for this cafe at all and it really exeeded all expectations. The food was very satisfactory. It does look a bit weird in there like, I'm not sure the decor theme they were going for because there's a lot of different things going on there. I've been coming here for years and have never had an experience short of amazing. I don't know why all these people are trippin on here. They got rid of the Cobb salad which is a bummer, but the chefs salad was equally bomb with bleu cheese dressin. My family and I stayed at the Harrah's for a couple of days, that's why we decided to eat here. Plus side of this place is that it's opened 24 hours. It was 3am We were seated right away and service was great. I had the patty melt that was delicious and my husband had the cheese burger which was okay. I think it's over priced and not worth it. Nothing special. A typical American diner that serves heated frozen vegetables for sides highly processed food with lot of salt but its open 24 hours a day. Huge portions enough for at least two adults. Average pricing. Service is hit and miss. Some servers are prompt and friendly others not so much. Usually takes a long time for someone to come and take your order from the time you sit about 5-10min even for drinks. Pretty good for a 24 hour cafe in a hotel. The waitress was attentive. we weren't too hungry for brunch so My husband got the 1/2 benedict and I got 1/2 ham sandwhich with the chile verde soup. The soup was so flavorful and not too spicy. read more

Came last night after driving 6+ hours for something to eat at 10pm with my 7 year old. Waited 10 min at a table while 2 Different servers passed us and didn't acknowledge us. We finally gave up and told the ladies at the cash register that we had waited over 10 min with no help so we were leaving to find a different place to eat that wanted our business. Do not waste your time here. If I could give zero stars I would. First of all my husbands cup was dirty, it had crust stuck to it and had to be replaced. His chicken fried steak was burnt and my pancakes were very gummy, the last thing you want a pancake to be. Worst place I've ever been to. 25 minute wait to get in which is not bad since every other place has the same wait time right now due to COVID. We get seated and wait about 15 mins to be asked what we'd like to drink. Drinks took about an additional 10 mins to come out and they brought out the wrong ones. They then ignored us for about another half hour and finally came and asked for our order. Take in mind we ordered club sandwiches since we didn't want to wait any longer for our food to cook and thought club sandwiches would be pretty quick to come out. Well we were wrong. It took about another 45 mins or so and in the timeframe we were waiting the manager(Eric Chavez) & the front cashier (Cheryl) which were the rudest person decided to come up to me and shut up my child. My child is one and there were multiple older children yelling and people right next to us screaming as they won on the slot machines. I must concur with David G's comments on the café. After three months between visits to this café, upon returning I noticed that the dining customers were all sitting toward the rear of the room. I requested the front area on the left side of the entrance. Now I know why no one was asking nor sitting in this area. It seems the brilliant management staff has rotated the noisiest slot machines so the blaring sounds and noise emitted from the side speakers of the slot machines is directed right into the café. Not only is the frozen and heated food a problem, now it is the noise level a diner has to put up with. The competition between the atrocious casino music descending from the café's PA system speakers and now the bellowing of a slot machine beckoning one to the winning computer slot machine is just about the limit a person with acute hearing can stand. Now if you are at the phase that your hearing is diminished, this front left side dining area maybe acceptable. Conversing in this front area is almost impossible, so plan on eating and running to the nearest big winning noisy computerize slot machine and pick another casino café on the Laughlin strip to dine at. And now we have a Harrah's service dog policy where the high rollers can bring their dogs to the dining tables at this café and the Buffet and park them in their laps and feed them restaurant food. This place is nothing special and Prices are typical of a casino restaurant but not reasonable. Took my family here, my son ordered the spaghetti and it was overcooked pasta and marinara not flavorful. I had the club which was OK with the french onion soup which probably was the best tasting part of the entire meal. My spouse had the French dip which was also OK. I say OK because all of these items lacked flavor. I compare the flavor level to that of hospital food. It tasted ore cooked and out of a bag or box. The server was very nice but was slow on drink refills, also soups were brought just moments before the main entrees which it would have been nice to get them a little earlier. It wasn't crowded which was a plus for me close to the front entrance and accomdated our stroller which was appreciated. Overall I have it 3 stars because it wasn't anything special but better than eating at mcdonalds. Also be sure to have your players card to receive discounts. read more

My husband and I spent two days at Harrah's and ate two meals in the Beach Cafe. Items enjoyed: Potato skins appetizer (delicious, though a bit pricey); chile verde soup (hot, spicy, full of pork); fish & chips (fish was pretty greasy but good flavor); French dip sandwich (by far my favorite of anything ordered); chef's salad (more toppings than you can imagine - my big husband ate about 2/3 of it and was stuffed); and an omelette. The manager was there both times and greeting customers by name, helping bus tables, anything needed by his staff. He was friendly and his attitude seems to have rubbed off on his staff because they, too, were pleasant to deal with. They seem grateful to have jobs and each person we came into contact with wanted to please. I have read the negative reviews about employees being rude and that was not our experience at all. We tend to be easy going, friendly people, so that maybe the difference. When we asked for a Mexican food recommendation for another meal, they were quick to offer suggestions, and the 2nd time we were at Beach Cafe, they followed up, asking if we had gone and liked it. Great staff trying hard to please customers. That's a winning combination in my book. read more

My family and I are on vacation and decided to go here so that all of us could get what we want with simplicity. Unfortunately, the manager rudely responded "are you kidding me?" when we advised him how large our party would be. To make matters worse, another worker came to assist with her bad attitude. She was arguing while we were trying to be accommodating-shifting our seating, inquiring what would make things easy on them. Well, they made that sound impossible. Somehow every other restaurant can create more than 2 checks, but these guys can't! Our family felt so hurt by the lack of customer service that we decided to eat elsewhere. My friend and I were starving after a long day at the lake, so we checked it out. We shared the sampler platter, and I definitely left satisfied, in my belly. Would NOT recommend this place at all. Service was slow, food was awful. I got the Country fried chicken with mashed potatoes and veggies. The chicken had a rubbery taste, as if it was old. The mashed potatoes were horrible tasted like powdered type (and you can see the powder). I would expected a bit more flavor but food was awful. read more
