I write this review not as a coffee drinker (sorry guys) but I do frequent this place in town because my family loves coffee. During the beach volleyball tournament weekend, this place always has a long line but they actually do move people through fairly quickly. Ordering tends to take the longest but you get your coffee pretty fast. They have a good selection of pastries - their breakfast biscuits are delicious and bacon maple scones mmm. Oddly they have "muffins" but they are muffin tops, not muffins. But they refer to them as muffins. We were puzzled by that. The décor is really cute, and they have the line work around the perimeter of the shop with a space inside the line to stand and wait for your coffee out of the way. read more

Horrible costumer service. I ordered a Kenyan tea with soy milk and honey. The lady at the front desk pushed that it was a london fog, and I told her it was similar but with honey and a different type of tea. She kept insisting it was a london fog and ended up giving me a london fog instead of what I asked for. She also charged me twice as much as this drink costs at most places. Give your support and money to a more deserving coffee shop. read more

Not very friendly staff. In the 5 minutes I was in line waiting to place an order the staff yelled at 4 or 5 different costumers that were trying to wait for their drinks by the door. Yes maybe is safety policy or whatever but you could place a sign about it instead of being rude to everyone, or you could choose to address people politely. Drinks are just average, but on the plus side is half a block from the beach if you want to get something before a walk. read more

Was in town this past weekend and stopped by to get a coffee. My wife Ordered a coffee with 1 scoop of white chocolate and oat milk. When She was given the coffee it was a lot sweeter then she ordered, she told the cashier She didn't want it sweet. She went back and told them it was made wrong and would like it remade. When She said that the manager on shift said she would not remake it because they were short on oat milk and also refused to give me a refund. Went back and forth for a little bit then when She asked for the receipt the manager also refused to give it to her. Manager even threatened to call the cops because my wife was asking for a receipt/refund. Long story short we didn't get a coffee or a refund, essentially stole our money. If I could give negative stars for the way this shop Is run I would. Avoid this place when visiting seaside. read more

Service from the staff is hit or miss. They've totally redone the place and it is clean and bright. Too small to meet friends but grab a coffee to go. Coffee is good. I'll go back. read more

My boyfriend got a sugar free caramel latte and I got a hot chocolate. I don't personally like my milk frothed in a hot chocolate. The temperature was well over 160 degrees and I couldn't enjoy it until 15 minutes later (after my breakfast was gone). Once it cooled enough to drink it was only two-thirds full :( it's a good stop if you aren't picky and want a couple options for breakfast food items. read more

Right across the street from the Shilo hotel couldn't be easier for breakfast. I got a latte that did the trick. Yummy.

I'm a big fan of supporting local cafes rather than the chains. It has a great location steps from the beach and the Worldmark Resort. Unfortunately, a lot of rude customers who accidentally order "grande" Americanos must have worn the owners thin because now they retaliate to paying customers with condescending service to correct the customer's vocabulary. I would accept the correction for an amazing cup of coffee. But the weak customer service matches the low quality beans and watered down coffee. It's a no for me. read more

As a local that works next door to this place, they have a lot to improve. I was charged 0.75 cents for a cup of ice when I go here at least once a week. Today I came back for a bite and they didn't even offer to toast my bagel nor did they have a knife in the bag or at least tell me where the knives were without asking. Good coffee with nonchalant attitudes across the board. I should just stop going but you're right next door so I don't have much of a choice sometimes. Also, every time I ask to fill my water up they act like it's a weird request.. get used to it, people are more green these days. Reduce reuses recycle! read more

Above average coffee and lattes. Homemade pastries are wonderful. The staff are very friendly. Close to the beach and open early.

I ordered a hot white mocha latte with almond milk and the taste was pretty good. The reason I give 3 stars is because I know almond milk steams up fast but it took me 20 minutes for it to cool down enough to sip and actually enjoy it while walking the boardwalk. We came here on 4th of July during the evening. It was busy and crowded, but the atmosphere was very inviting. We didn't have to wait in line for too long to put our orders in. I got a sugar daddy latte, hubby got a mocha, and kids got hot cocoa with brookie and croissant. The croissant did not taste fresh. The brookie was awesome. My preference is bitter vs sweet, so I was not a fan of the latte (but of course, what do you expect with "sugar daddy syrup"). My hubby and kids were fans, as they love sweets. Very nice lady at the register, despite how busy it was. She smiled. The baristas didn't, but I understood, because they were super busy. I will come back, but not add syrup. read more

Cute place, near the hotels and the ocean. I had a mocha with an extra shot and bagel. The mocha was very weak flavored - it barely had chocolate OR coffee flavor. The bagel was nothing to write home about and I had to toast it myself. The cream cheese was even runny. Weird. I came here on a road trip, hoping to catch up on some email on my tablet instead of my tiny phone. There is an open wifi network called "beach day coffee," which made me think I would be able to connect. However, after ordering my drink, I discovered the wifi is password protected and was told that they don't give out their password! Why!?!? Free wifi should be a given in any PNW coffee shop! Deal breaker! Also, there is no bathroom in the store, so you have to walk down to the beach to use the public facilities. More of a minor inconvenience, but still not up to par with almost random coffee shops you go to. Gal taking our order was less than friendly and told me she could add the vanilla syrup but I would have to add the cream and pointed to the table with the community cream. Uh, what?! Great drinks and food, but this morning I asked for 4 cups of water. The girl behind the counter said that will be 75 cents per cup. WHAT??!! This place is adorable! I love the colors and decor. The way it looks is the reason I came in here for coffee. Sadly, it's chic decor is the only thing it has going for it. The service wasn't good--- at all. If you're not a morning person then maybe you shouldn't work the opening shift at a coffee shop. Neither of them, the cashier or the barista, thanked me after I paid or as I was leaving. And no, they weren't busy. The coffee is okay. It's edible. Pretty bland, not a whole lot of flavor (I ordered a mocha). Prices are average. After waiting 10 to 15 min we go to place our order and they tell us that their credit card reader is down and they are only taking cash. Would have been nice if they had a sign up indicating that or made some announcements before we waited all that time. That was bad service, but then when we asked if there was any other place close they were very short with us and we felt pushed out the door. We did find another place that was good, had nice seating including couches and tables, and prices were cheaper too.
