At the risk of sounding like a bit of a 'Karen' I do have some observations. I'll start by saying; what a beautiful location with some of the best views! I walked in with an expectation of class, due to both the location and the prices on the menu. I have to admit I was a little disappointed. Immediately when I sat down I noticed the beautiful basket light shades, covered in what looks like years of dust. The table directly to my left my covered in beer mats, for some unknown reason, and the table directly infront of me had dirty cloths on it. There was also an added bonus of a rusty old trash can to the left of my table. Now I'm not bothered by these things normally, but if you're gonna charge upwards of $30 an entree then I expect the ambiance to reflect the price ‍ overall unimpressed and disappointed. read more

I have been to this restaurant 3 times. 3 strikes and I am done. I am not a fan of overall management of this facility. But I was seriously disappointed on my last visit. Our server brought the bill and stood over us while we counted out our money. He was a typical up seller type server which I can ordinarily deal with but I was creeped out by his hovering over us while we gathered our money. Is this a company policy? Or was he just a creep? If it is a policy, big mistake....never going back.... The management policies on reserving booths for a minimum is also annoying and unnecessary. Also has an issue with the hostess, she spent at least 5 minutes or longer planning a future party for a month later instead of seating us for service that day. She should have called someone else to assist us or the party planner. She didn't even acknowledge us....rude! The next day went next door to Oceanic and had a wonderful experience...lesson learned! Beach house pompano is a place you take family/friends/loved one who's visiting to show off Florida beaches. A wonderful view of the beach with classic but delicious food for brunch is a no brainer! We went for brunch but the menu and outdoor area would be wonderful during sunset as well. Service is great as well one of our dishes didn't come as expected and the server immediately fixed the order to our liking! If there's one thing you have to order it's the French toast!! We started with the Sangria and a double whiskey. Our apps of choice were grilled artichokes, oysters, charcuterie board and roasted bbq wings. My wife had been craving grilled artichokes and we found them. I'm not a big artichoke guy but these were pretty good. We had the charcuterie board and the red dragon cheese was elite. My husband and I ended up watching the Super Bowl here during our stay in Fort Lauderdale. Our Airbnb host recommended it but warned that it would probably be super packed with no seating. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived and able to snag a seat at the bar right in front of the TV. When though we were pretty full from lunch at Lucky Fish down the street, we had to order the wings since there were so many good reviews. They did not disappoint! We started with the grilled Caesar Salad and added blackened shrimp-an amazingly delicious salad-like no other!! We also tried the wonderfully wet wings-a hit with everyone!! So BREATHTAKING. the ambiance is beautiful love the vibe here. Service A1 Food was good. Sushi was fresh and very flavorful I'm not a fan of oysters but I tried it! Tastes good. Stopped here on a recommendation from the hotel. Just for afternoon drinks and fresh air so I didn't want to give it the fifth star as I did not taste an entree. It was very nice! Pet friendly so you will see dogs walking around. There is indoor/outdoor/rooftop dining and an inside/outside bar on the main floor. The weather was perfect so we sat outside on the main level. Staff was nice, dressed nautical. The drinks were good and we only ordered the sweet potato fries, no dinner. They were on the thicker side which I liked and very lightly salted. I did watch the plates come out and the portions for lunch were huge! For instance, the Chicago style hotdog was at least a footlong. Definitely enough to share! They don't make them in Chicago like that FYI. We also stopped in another night for drinks and the dinners were smaller-although they may serve the same items at lunch? Everyone around us smiled as they ate so I am going with it is good plus the aroma was making my mouth water. If we hadn't already eaten elsewhere, I would have put an order in for sure! read more

The restaurant has 2 levels with bars at each level. The downstairs is a larger restaurant area with indoor and outdoor seating. The upstairs is definitely the go to spot at this restaurant. They have huge u shaped booths overlooking the beach, ocean and pier. It's beautiful. The upstairs tends to fill up first but is definitely worth trying to get a seat there first. The upstairs has a smaller menu than downstairs but it's still enough to choose from. The food ranges from sushi to tacos and is a good selection. They have wine on tap as well. They offer valet parking but there is also garage and street parking nearby as well. read more

We started our trip visiting Beach House. We booked a reservation and when we arrived, the hostesses informed us it would be an hour or an hour and a half wait. We ended up very quickly getting sat upstairs on the rooftop which was excellent! I included a photo of the view which was great. We ordered the tuna stack for an appetizer and it was fresh and delicious. The plating was very nice as well. It was good to share for 2. The server was attentive and helpful. She suggested the shrimp and grits, so that is what I got! I loved it and it was so filling. My friend had the special which was Mahi. She had a dairy allergy and they were very accommodating and switched the buttered rice with broccoli. The food was yummy and came out fast. What deterred me from giving the place 5 stars was the atmosphere. I very much understand we are eating in a cute beachy place that is casual, but almost all of the female servers and hostesses especially were wearing very revealing clothes, low cut tops and short bottoms. It just left me questioning if I would truly consider it a family place. Some guests were also in bathing suits- great for them! We went to the Beach House, perhaps with too high of expectations. It was highly recommended by the concierge where we stayed, and the menu looked pretty good. We made a reservation the day before to make sure we were able to get in at our preferred time. We were greeted on entry and due to the windy weather asked to be seated inside. We were seated next to the bar area. After being seated we found our table was sticky and not cleaned. We waited quite a while and finally asked the bartender for a rag to wipe our table. Turns out we did not have an assigned server but the bartender was filling that role. He got our drink order and we ordered pour appetizers. When he came back with the beverages we placed our entree order. We had the grilled artichoke appetizer, which was pretty good but a bit over charred. The entrees came after a wait, and were ok. Cedar plank salmon and the Shrimp and Grits. Both were pretty middle of the road. I would say the mixed drink was very good and they had a nice selection of local beers. We were not checked on at all after we had placed our order other than clearing the appetizer plates before the entree arrived. Had to actually go out of the way to get our check. Given the prices of things, I'd expect top notch service. It's by far the worst service experience I've had in Pompano Beach. I'd look elsewhere and I will not ever go back. Save yourself some aggravation and go to Lucky Fish, Baresco, or one of the other restaurants near the pier as it's definitely not worth the money or time. read more

Visited Beach House in Pompano Beach tonight. Our reservation was for a group of 6 girls for 8 PM. We arrived promptly on time and were seated by the hostess who brought us some waters. 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 minutes had passed and no server had approached us. By 8:31 still nothing, so we notified the hostess. Eventually, a server came apologizing taking our drink and food orders. Shortly after our drinks were brought out by another lively server - energetic, apologetic, and went ABOVE AND BEYOND to give our experience a 180. Our meal came out promptly and we were greeted by the manager who checked in and apologize as well. Our round of drinks were comped and were also given 2 desserts free of charge! The first 30 minutes of our Beach House experience was filled with agitation, but the latter half of our dinner made our experience one to remember. The excellent service, and not to mention the DELICIOUS food, will have us returning on our next trip to Pompano Beach. read more

This time I got some photos for you! I brought my mom here, and we shared the fish dip. She is not a huge fan of fish dip, and she really enjoyed it. She got the blacked chicken tacos. She loved them. ( too spicy for me haha my gosh my mouth was on fire after trying the taco. But I am super sensitive to spicy). She was not a fan of the beans and rice. Very bland. It needs some flavor! I asked for just a regular grilled chicken sandwich. Same as my last review but got bacon this time. Loved the sandwich but prefer without bacon :0 I enjoyed my drink. There is a convenient parking garage very close by. Highly suggest that you wait for a table on the second floor for the best view. Remember part of what you are paying for is the ocean view which is best appreciated during daylight hours. Unless it is a moonlit evening there really is nothing to see. While we were waiting for a table we ordered drinks at the bar. My mojito was expertly prepared and quite delicious on a hot day. We were seated in a booth that faced the ocean which was wonderful. Accommodated 7 of us. Shared the grilled artichoke appetizer. It was wonderful. Fish tacos were equally delicious. No desert. read more
