    10am-3pm - great deals! #makesmewander

I work in Westchester and my friend and I have decided to try all of the local pizza places just for fun. This was our first! I'd been here before for the slice deal but wanted to try something new so I personalized my own pizza with pesto sauce, garlic, spinach, and mushrooms. Great combination of flavors. The crust was the right amount of crisp. I appreciated the amount of mushrooms and that they still looked like mushrooms, not shriveled overcooked mushroom. The cost was more than I expected but I was aware that there would be extra charges for special sauce and for ingredients. Considering their market is college students I feel like they can find like a 2-ingredient pizza deal that is less or someway to make it more affordable to them and also to local employees who want a reasonable lunch deal but want more variety than the slice deal. Still, I will definitely be back.

I actually would give it closer to 3.5 stars (which I still wish was a feature on here). And most of the stars are for the service. Everyone there was really nice and we ordered to go but they made sure we had what we needed before we left. I ordered a personal pizza and my boyfriend had chicken wings. My boyfriend loved his chicken wings and he said he would get them again. My pizza was ok but it definitely wasn't cooked enough. Was closer to the soggy side and the sauce seemed a bit sweet but when I put it in the over again it was better. I would go back but I would try something else.

Pepperoni Pizza - Extral Large Slice of Pizza

Very delicious pizza. If you drive by or pass Mya's place you should definitely check it out.

Dark, limp and unappetizing greens, nice serving of cheese.

We ordered multiple pizzas and dinners. The pizzas were generally good, the dinners (large lasagna & hot wings) were so-so. The salad was terrible, the greens looked like they had been frozen - they were dark and limp.

    Burned garlic knots

Paid over $47 dollars for a large simple pizza and some garlic knots. Food was late for pick-up and burned. Store was not busy. Avoid overpriced and bad food.

    Generous slice of pizza

Pizza slice was large, hot and delicious. Service was friendly. Two minute walk from my hotel.

Are you looking for the best vegan cheese pizza in Playa Del Rey ( and wider) ? Beach Pizza is your spot! I moved here couple of months ago and since then this has been my regular stop. Crust is amazing, cheese is amazing and tomato sauce .... natural, delicious... just perfect ! I would always call in advance to make my order and make a couple of special requests ( light cheese, more crust and basil) and every single time it was exactly how I asked for. Addition to their delicious pizza is amazing staff, that is always so helpful and friendly. Very happy with this restraint and will definitely keep coming back.

We started with cocktails. I had the Mary Sue ("Pornstar Martini") with vodka, vanilla, passionfruit, salted lime, fino sherry, and champagne foam. YUM. Dangerously good. My husband had the Rob Gentile, an elevated Old Fashioned, and was thoroughly impressed. Service was great, and the food was top-notch. Let's dive in! Meatballs with beef, pork, ricotta, potato purée, tomato sauce, Grana Padano, and arugula--WOW. Cheesy, saucy perfection. Beef Tartare with tonnato, shallot, marjoram, crispy potato, and toast. Delicious and a generous portion. I ordered Coop's Pork Shank with Lambrusco-mustard glaze, aromatic jus, and potato purée. Tender, flavorful, and that broth was incredible. It paired perfectly with the broccolini... ...which we didn't order. We spotted the table next to us enjoying it with burrata and immediately added it to our "next time" list. My son ordered the Chicken Parm with capellini. He loved the huge chicken parm portion, which successfully fed his bottomless teenage appetite, but declared the pasta "too eggy." Teenagers are basically unpaid Michelin critics. My husband ordered the Scarpinocc with braised beef cheek, brown butter, sage, and saba. He loved it, but our resident food critic chimed in with, "I don't really taste the beef." Dessert was the cinnamon bread pudding with ice cream and caramel drizzle--absolutely worth saving room for. Everything was delicious, portions were generous, and we left happy (and full enough to feed a small submarine crew). Definitely coming back!

The pasta was clearly homemade, and you could tell it was fresh, but the actual flavors were very underwhelming. For a place specializing in Italian cuisine, we expected a lot more punch. What really turned us off, though, was the lack of value. For the price of the food, the service policy feels incredibly stingy. They do not give you free refills on drinks, which is ridiculous at this price point--refills should absolutely be included. To make matters worse, you do not get free bread for the table either. Overall, we did not like this restaurant. Between the underwhelming food and being nickel-and-dimed for basic things like bread and drink refills, it is definitely not worth the price tag. Sunday chop Salad: 10/10, I love the shredded lettuce, lightly dressed but packed with flavor from salami and green olives. Beet and citrus salad: 9/10, a tumble of beets and blood orange atop creamy labneh (somewhere Greek yogurt between sour cream), contrasts of sweet savory and creamy with a little pistachio crunch Meatballs: 10/10, just a side of meatballs, $8, but seriously some of the best meatballs I've ever had: so tender! And the sauce had the right balance of bright tomato tang and sweetness. As close to perfect meatballs as I can recall having anywhere. Crab Mafalda pasta: 10/10: crabby slithery and oily in the best ways. Rich and satisfying. Ragu with rigatoni: 8/10; I found the rigatoni a little too al dente, and while everything melded together in a rich and satisfying way it felt slightly under seasoned or lacking a flavor pop compared to the meatballs and other dishes. It was good but some of the other dishes blew me away and this one was just pleasant. Affogato for dessert: 9.5/10: good strong coffee, creamy ice cream, very enjoyable. The place is small, charming and eclectic, bumping hip hop music. They have a nice selection of wines (a couple of Chenin Blanc, which is nice to see). Service was fast and friendly.
