Their Vegan Pizza is phenomenal and the place is an absolute gem!
    Rocky B.

Honestly, this was the best experience that I've had in a long time. Everything from the vibe of the place and the absolute phenomenal customer experience given by Harry to the absolutely delicious and possibly the best vegan sausage pizza I've had and let's not forget about the garlic knots that they veganized for me. I'm just so thrilled that I found this place and that it's actually minutes from our new place in our new hood. The garlic knots definitely packed a punch as they used real garlic and the marinara sauce that accompanied them was seasoned to perfection. And my vegan sausage pizza was crispy, chock, full of veggies, and I'm not really sure what type of vegan cheese they used, but it was so melty and delicious. And to the guy behind the counter, Harry, thank you for giving us the best experience. It's not often that you come across someone the deals with people day in and day out and still treats every single person that enters your establishment with warmth and kindness. I will 100% be back.

I have been wanting to get the white pizza from Taproom for a hot minute and I finally had the opportunity to do so and it was so good! It was really really good. The sauce was delicious. The pizza was cooked perfectly the cashier was helpful and made great suggestions! The wings were a really nice size and seasoned will, so juicy and cooked perfectly! Taproom pizza is a sister restaurant to lobster and beer... Just FYI, for those of you've never been to lobster and beer... take a look at my review just in case you need to learn more about it. It tells you everything you need to know lobster and beer is absolutely delicious. Taproom pizza is the same and they run the businesses the same way that's why they're successful! I love the inside. It's clean. It smells good. It's got records on the wall and musical instruments and it's really kind of just a fun place to go!

This spot was nice, I went during a weird time which was at 3pm so not many people inside. Looks like it can get lively during a food rush time. They offer partial service, so order at the register and they'll serve the food to you at your table. Looks like they have good beer options, since I was there for a work break though, I just drank water. The pizza was bomb! Seems like they use good ingredients. They also have sandwiches to choose from. The atmosphere is cool and definitely a bar vibe. They have skateboard decks on the wall and give it that Venice vibe. There are 2 arcade games that I noticed. There was also a tic tac toe game on the table, makes things fun and interactive while you're there!

Sausage Vegan Pizza! The crust is amazing!!

May 30 2023 While in Culver City, my friend & I wanted to try someplace new for lunch! The TapRoom Pizza was our place of choice today! Perfect choice for a mouthwatering pizza! It absolutely hit the spot! Vegan Sausage Pizza: We trusted Maddie's opinion when it came to selecting a 14 inch pizza! Dee-liscious! The crust alone was love at first sight, as well as after the first bite! Yum! Loaded with veggies & full of flavor! We also opted for real cheese instead of Vegan cheese! Customer Service: Maddie was awesome, absolutely friendly & knowledgeable! Not only did he help us decide on the best pizza, but told us that the pizza also goes well alongside scrambled eggs! Thanks again for the tip! Atmosphere: Fun & so much to see: guitars, stickers, wall to wall album covers, posters, skateboards, huge TV screens, full-size old-school arcade games and so much more...also has a sports bar feel! Our booth had a wooden tic-tac-toe game on the table, which we played & a Jimi Hendrix poster on the wall, loved it! Indoor & outdoor patio seating! Overall: My mouth is watering simply thinking about the pizza we just devoured w/plenty of leftovers! I would return with the quickness, as the TapRoom shines in all areas! Cheers to Culver City & to Maddie for showing us a great time! You rock!

Ambiance: sports bar style restaurant, with both inside and outside seatings, two arcade machines near the entrance Service: out of date check-in offer, overall fast service, provided useful product information Food & Drink: variety choices on the menu for pizza The Montreal - *** Tomato sauce/mozzarella/mushrooms/pepperoni/green peppers, plain taste Freaky Tikki - **** romaco sauce/mozzarella/prosciucco/pineapple/ialapeno, flavorful, recommend Picnic Lightning - **** draft beer IPA (Hazy), unique flavor, recommend Price: moderate portions and reasonable prices, about $15~$20 per person

Taproom got me through my pregnancy! Their wings are my favorite! My husband would go monthly and bring back wings for me (Korean is my go to). Customer service is always amazing! They're very sweet and recommend different beers or other options (delicious rotating beers on tap). Just this past time, Harry gave us toys since our baby was a bit fussy! He has wonderful energy that's very welcoming! Great place for families, amazing music selection and just overall good vibes. This will definitely continue to be a go to spot!

Manager Kyle couldn't have been nicer or friendlier. Now, the pizza. THAT CRUST! They roll cheese right into the dough, so when it bakes, the crust gets crunchy, crispy and cheesy. You don't see that every day, and honestly, it's one of the best pizza crusts I've ever had. We tried the bacon and leek special, the pepperoni and the plain cheese, and all three were outstanding. Sometimes a plain cheese pizza is the best test because there's nowhere for mediocre pizza to hide--and this one didn't need to hide from anything. They also have garlic knots, which I'm definitely trying next time, plus soft drinks. Despite having three types of pepperoni, this does not mean the pizza is going to be covered head to toe with pepperoni slices. The tomato sauce was the best indicator that we were eating a fresh pizza. The crust was crunchy and the cheese had a nice pull. A lot of oil pooled on the bottom which was the only downside. However, I would come back again to try the other pizzas. Note: Market Pizza is located in a back patio surrounded by Jackson Place (apartments for rent) and Jackson Market (historic neighborhood cafe and deli). Follow map directions - you'll second guess yourself at first if you park on the main street because Market Pizza and Jackson Market are part of the neighborhood itself and are not surrounded by your typical commercial businesses. It's a soothing environment for brunch with draping vegetation and cute furniture. Beware of flies during daytime. The store itself only had two people working (one person mostly taking orders and one person mostly cooking) so it took a while to make the pizza because the wood fired oven isn't necessarily humongous and there were several people who had ordered before us. No buzzer so if you decide to wander around or if your table is out of earshot, you'll have to check in as they verbally call orders. I had no idea when my order was coming up but they were friendly about me checking in whenever I walked up.

However, I left disappointed with my visit, especially after trying several other pizza restaurants on this list that absolutely lived up to the hype. Sei is in the Pico-Robertson neighborhood, unassumingly sitting on the corner of the block. The restaurant is very small. It features a bar that surrounds the kitchen area, along with a few tables. They accept reservations and walk-ins, and they also seem to do a lot of takeout orders. Not being able to make a reservation for three, we decided to get there early on a weekday to grab a seat. We waited about ten minutes for three seats at the bar. The menu has plenty of options, featuring both classics and more unique pizzas. We ordered one pizza per person with the intention of sharing all three, and went for a mix of classic and fusion, opting for the Margherita, Ruti's Pizza, and Mala Lamb Sausage. It took about 20 to 25 minutes for the pizza to arrive at our table. Visually, the pizzas all looked amazing. The crust was really puffy with plenty of color contrast on the plate. Upon picking up my first slice, I immediately noted the floppiness of the pizza. The center of the pizza collapsed, causing some ingredients to fall off. This carried into my thoughts on the texture of the crust. In the Margherita especially, the bites towards the middle of the pizza were really soggy. The texture was borderline unpleasant. Maybe it had to do with the amount of sauce they used, but I found that the Margherita was the only pizza we ordered that was really problematic in this aspect. And while the Ruti's and Mala Lamb pizzas were still floppy in the middle, they weren't as soggy. Despite this, it was clear to me that Pizzeria Sei cared a lot about their ingredients. The natural flavors of each component in every pizza shone beautifully. The tomato sauce had a really nice, sweet, and tangy flavor, and all the herbs were aromatic and flavorful. I found the Mala Lamb Sausage pizza to be the best. The flavor profile was well-balanced and unique in addition to the crust being the best. As I ate closer to the edge of the pizza towards the crust, the texture improved drastically. The crust itself had a light crunch but was overall very chewy, and it was finished with high-quality olive oil. Combined, these drastically improved the pizza. Was Sei the second-best pizza in the US? For me, it definitely wasn't. However, they offer a unique crust style hard to find elsewhere in the US, along with creative dishes that make Pizzeria Sei worth a visit. If I were to go again, I wouldn't order all of the pizzas at the same time. From the second the pizzas hit our table, they grew soggier, and as they cooled, all of the pizzas were mediocre. I understand that this style of pizza is required to be eaten immediately, but it is also something to note and plan for.
