Beachcomber's is a gem. The hot chocolate is rich and comforting, and the açaí bowls are fresh and delicious -- both absolutely worth coming back for. What really sets this place apart though is the staff. Genuinely kind, helpful, and great with every customer that walked in. You can feel the good energy the moment you arrive. Highly recommend and will definitely be back.

What a cute place! The inside was very warm and welcoming. The guy who rang up our order was really nice with us and all the customers coming in. The food was great! My kid got the avo toast and I got the scenic drive bagels. It's what we needed. Totally recommend

Stopped in Trinidad during our road trip today for breakfast, a walk and lunch. We had breakfast at the Beachcomber Cafe, great little coffe shop with seating both indoors and outdoors. You must get in line to place your order then go find your seat. Your food is brought I your table. I had a very tasty Latte with oat milk and the avocado toast with poached egg. Over all a good experience.

Cute cafe in Trinidad that has indoor and outdoor seatings. There was a short line on a sunny, Saturday lunch. Our orders took about 20 minutes to be ready. They were brought to our table. I love the momentum bowl-the Romesco scoop tied every ingredient together. The classic sandwich was also good. The Humboldt heat sandwich was not a hit unfortunately. The sweet, savory, spicy combo of flavors just didn't go well. The focaccia bread that the sandwiches came with were tough and dry!

If I lived around here, I would be at this place all the time. This is exactly the sort of food that I am always looking for, especially things like this Power bowl. It has a good variety of different types of food in it and is very tasty. My daughter enjoyed her pesto sandwich, I think I might be misnaming that one slightly. The double espresso was reasonably priced with a strong, complex start and smooth fade. The service was friendly and helpful. You order at the counter, they give you a number, and then bring you your food. There are water and silverware stations inside and outside. We ate outside because there were more flies inside than outside and it was a lovely day.

I wish I could give this place more stars. The indoor/outdoor seating options, the local artwork, the coffee, the food, the service, everything was so perfect. I highly recommend coming here if you are ever in the area to stay or just to drive through. My mom was a fan of this place and I am so happy she bought me. The coffee was great, but lets get into the food. They had so many Gluten free options and they are all some of the best GF things I have ever had. I love a good treat, and coming here was treat enough, but the Violet Lava cake? I couldn't get over it. Please give this place some love because it is well deserved.

The service, food and ambiance were excellent. The food is made to order and so tasty! The woman who rang us up made great food recommendations and sightseeing suggestions. I would highly recommend if your travels take you to the lovely town of Trinidad!

The cute location! Love this spot!

Still our favorite place to visit! Kasey had a big smile the minute we walked in. He remembered us and made us feel so welcomed! This will always be one of our favorite stops ever. Not to mentioned the food is so yummy. We had every pastry in the case, coffee, and the famous eggy! We stayed a while and played games, it was a very cozy day at beachcombers

This is a great place for breakfast. Local and cozy and staff provided great customer service. The food was delicious and drinks were on point. Small place with limited seating but the food and service make it worth it. It was so good, we went two days in a row for breakfast!

Great coffee shop! We are coffee snobs traveling north and found this great spot and such a quaint little town that is so well kept. Beautiful view as well. Make sure you drive out and take a look. Noted and we'd love to come and visit longer on another trip! We got the cinnamon and honey latte and cortado

Super cute cafe with surprising amount of gluten free options for me :) had the chilaquiles which were awesome. Husband got a latte and breakfast bun sandwich. Seating inside is very small but they have a covered outdoor area which was great to sit at and hear the rain fall.

Beautiful cafe to stop for a quick coffee or a bite. I went early and there wasn't much of a wait, but it looks like it could get busier in late morning. Staff were great and I had a tasty latte with cinnamon and honey.

Located in the quaint coastal town of Trinidad, the restaurant is in a beautiful spot with ocean views just a two-minute walk away. The ambiance inside is cozy and welcoming, the staff are friendly, and we were seated after only a short 5-minute wait. The food was absolutely top-notch, and everything came out fresh and flavorful: * Chicken Burger: This came on a ciabatta bread along with coleslaw and the most amazing aioli sauce. It was incredibly juicy, warm, and flavorful. * Clam Chowder & Local Beet Salad: Both of these dishes were outstanding. The clam chowder was rich and comforting. The Local Beet Salad features organic seasonal greens, organic beets, local goat cheese, sunflower seeds, a balsamic reduction, and a citrus vinaigrette--it was top-notch and incredibly fresh. * Kids' Chicken Nuggets: My son got this from the kids' menu, which comes with a side of ranch and a generous portion of crispy fries that he really enjoyed. * Cajun Alfredo Pasta: My daughter ordered the rice pasta version of this dish, which features a creamy Cajun spiced sauce and garden herbs, making it a wonderful, flavorful gluten-free pasta option. * Blackberry Cobbler & Chocolate Ice Cream: For dessert, we shared the cobbler made with Marion blackberries and a sweet cinnamon crumble topping. It was served warm with vanilla bean ice cream melting on top and tasted absolutely amazing. My son also got the chocolate ice cream and he loved it. * Vanilla Latte: We also grabbed a vanilla latte, which was perfectly crafted, smooth, and delicious. Our server, Annie, was incredibly friendly and nice, making our family dinner feel even more special. If you are in the area, this is a wonderful place to stop for great food and a warm, local atmosphere!

The bed was comfortable and could slightly hear the sea lions from our room. No t.v. in the room and it was nice to connect with nature and rest. There was an indoor heater in the closet that we turned on to heat up the room and turned off when we slept. The blankets kept us warm at night. One night after staying out at the fire pit to hang out with other guests, we got back to our room to shower and we didn't have hot water. One of the innkeeper's told us sometimes it happens when too many people are showering at once. Not a deal breaker, although I want to share because this is something that I'd want to know. Back to good stuff...their breakfast is delicious every morning. It tastes like it is made with love. There is a trail down to the beach and a fire pit where they have all the ingredients necessary to make smores. The view is spectacular here. Truly one of a kind. We loved our experience here and look forward to coming back.

Let your server know if you want the appetizer board to be vegetarian. Meat eaters can enjoy the wide range of special barbecue options, the oysters, or fresh fish. Save room for one of their amazing desserts. We often have the Goat Cheese Coeur á la Crème which always feels decadent and light at the same time. The flourless chocolate cake is simply decadent (and not light) but oh-so-good. Larrupin Cafe is not inexpensive, but it offers great value since the service, ambiance, and food make it well worth the splurge.
