We broke down with our GMC pick-up truck in Nashville. My husband was able to limp it to Beaman GMC. They diagnosed it as a bad valve body. Our truck was out of warranty just barely. We paid around $2000 for this repair. As we traveled North to go back home, the truck did the same thing we supposedly had fixed. My husband limped it again to an GMC dealer and was diagnosed as 4 quarts low on transmission fluid on work performed by Beaman. My husband notified the manager at Beaman and he originally agreed to give us some money back as we were detained for in another city for some time yet again. Now the manager will not return any of my husband's calls and no reimbursement has been received. This was in April 2025. read more

I bought a car there a month ago, I ask three people including the manager to please transfer my plates over because I am disabled and I have a disability plate. Yes they were fine with it prior to me buying the car. Once I bought the car Derek took down all my information off of my registration and then after he gets the check for the car, tells me oh sorry they didn't do it! I have called two managers on two separate occasions weeks apart, and neither one of them will call me back . The names of the managers are Matthew and Tracey Wilson. I went to the DMV they said the dealership could have done this no problem. Yesterday I got a text message from someone with a email for a name saying my plates are in and do I want them mailed to me? I said Yes please and I have never gotten a response. What kind of business is this ? The most disorganized company I have ever met. If you knew how they acted about paperwork when I bought the car it was so ridiculous. Most horrendous experience of my life! My vehicle has set in their shop for months. Multiple failed diagnosis on the vehicle. When Work was completed, they created more issues with the vehicle. I was treated completely unfairly by the staff, including John the service manager, they would rather continually build GM for warranty work rather than fixing the actual issue. They released a vehicle to me multiple times that was not fixed correctly and immediately broken down and put my life in danger and put my life in danger.i had to take The vehicle to another dealership because they were incapable of fixing the problem by their own admission. I've been offered no compensation. I have fought road block at every turn with GM For a buyback because the dealership essentially committed fraud by back dating repair orders and not opening new Repair orders each time the vehicle came in in order to continue to build GM for warranty work. The your ship refused to advocate on my behalf to GM for timely incorrect fixing Of the vehicle, and this has Resulted in my need to obtain legal representation. I would not recommend this dealership under any circumstances! This dealership lacked transparency, failed to communicate, timely and efficiently with me, and was overall a horrible experience working with them. read more

After 13 years of being a loyal Beaman GMC customer I'm done. Don't fall for the 'Beaman Bait & Switch Service.' I was told to bring my GMC Denali in Monday morning at 8:30 am. Once I get there I'm told it will be 72 hours before they can take a look. (Needed and oil change, tires rotated, airbag light was on.) I'm committed since I just drove out to Antioch. 72 hours go by. I call for an update. "Brian" will call you back. Nope. Thursday comes around. I call again. "Hmmm...no update on your truck I'll have Brian call you." Nope. I text the service line. Their reply is along the lines of "we're really back up...going to look at it first thing Friday morning." I call at 2pm. "Brian's out to lunch." Come to find out they still hadn't done anything to the truck. Nothing. I took an Uber and picked the truck up Friday afternoon. The trust I had with Beaman has been broken. #BeamanServiceFail What astounded me even more was the absolute absence of any customer cordials. No "thank you for choosing Beaman...thank you for your patience...we apologize that we are behind." I was made to feel that I was absolutely the problem for bringing my truck in and waiting 5 days for an oil change. It's a 2010 truck. No need for Beaman to service it. I'll go to Kenny at the Belmont Service Station. But what this also robbed me of was the desire to buy a new vehicle from Beaman and to become a prisoner of their service center to maintain warranty protection. The dealer at Antioch is worst one. I recently broke my left mirror signal light cover. I bought a new signal light with cover and drove to this dealer service department for installation. The salesperson was not knowledgeable and told me the replacement would take about 2 hours and the fee would be $489(including tax). That price was beyond reasonable, so I went to another nearby car repair shop, it took the engieer about 30 minutes and I paid a total of $150 only. read more

This place doesn't make appointments they have drop off times. Which even that is pathetic; I waited 25 mins before ever being acknowledged. No, hi be with you in a moment...I could go into the petty shit but the bottom line is Matthew has terrible communication and the whole vibe to this service place is gross. I wish I could say this is Covid but the employees are not wearing masks. After an hour and twenty mins I finally heard, there's one car a head and then he'll be able to get to yours. I'm glade I went through the effort of making an "appointment" and stating that I'll be waiting. I ended up walking out when I realized I was one of 7 people who all thought they made an appointment and one person was on her 5th hour of waiting for a 6:30am oil change! read more

Sales department is great. Service department is absolutely a shit show. I have mixed feelings about writing this review. My hope is always to give productive useful feedback, not to talk down about a company, but honestly I just don't think this service department cares about feedback at all. I have a brand new vehicle (less than a year old) having issues and it's been like pulling teeth for anyone to even LOOK at it to diagnose the problem properly. I've been given excuse after excuse for why they can't do anything, until I marched in there in person and dragged a technician and showed him the issue myself. Honestly it's just pure laziness that they couldn't find the issue on their own. On top of that, there's absolutely NO reason for me to MAKE AN APPOINTMENT to drop off my car to sit on the lot for a week before anyone even looks at it! After MONTHS of trying to convince this service department that I needed a new fuel pump, hundreds of dollars on a damn rental car because you claim you don't have loaner vehicles. I get a call on Thursday, that the part was in and ready to be installed next week. I made an appointment to drop my car off Wednesday morning, dropped off my car. Didn't hear back until I called THREE TIMES on Friday morning and was told "we just got the part in this morning and hope to have your car done this afternoon" ...... WHY THE HELL DID YOU TELL ME THE PART WAS IN LAST WEEK?? And why has my car been sitting on your lot for ANOTHER three days I'd you didn't have the part???? They had no explanation. Absolutely inefficiency and disorganization. I'm SOOO disappointed and frustrated and will NEVER recommend beaman to anyone. read more

His communication was appreciated and lessened our frustration of months without our son's car. Well before they changed hands, I could make a service appointment for my 2014 Buick Enclave. Well today, I called to schedule. They used to divert you to service by brand, no more. One number, one service. BAD. THEN, I was told we are behind, leave your car, we may get to it in 3 days or so. WOW! What kind of fool am I? I would leave 0 stars if I could.....I have been going here for a year and a half since I moved to Nashville, to get my truck serviced and have had no prior issues. I dropped it off Wednesday knowing I would leave it over night for at least one day if not two. I came back Friday morning, paid and walked to my truck. Noticed things rummaged around in my truck and things were missing from under the back seat, and no windows broken . I walked back inside, got the service manager and showed him. He said he would review the video cameras for the last two nights. Later in the day I came back, he said he reviewed the tape and nothing was captured while it was outside the bay. I had about $1,000's worth of stuff taken out from under the back seat of the truck. I said "well then some one working here took my stuff" he said "he trusted the person that did the work on the truck and that there was nothing he could do about it." I then said "If no one was on tape it had to be some one inside, no windows were broken, so either it was left unlocked and he didn't see it or some one took it while it was in the bay" he stated again "there is nothing he could do". I then replied "so you wont even look in the break room, ask around or even tell a supervisor?" He said again, "there was nothing he could do". DO NOT get any service done here.... I have taken my 2013 Yukon to beaman 3 or 4 times to figure out why it was idling rough. Each time i have wound up paying 800-1300 in small repairs that "could" fix it but never had. Finally had enough and took it to another dealership that I had used in the last in my old town and witching 20 min they had realized that the intake manifold was cracked and causing the rough idle. Poor service and just guessing when you charge these prices is crazy.... DO NOT USE THEM THEY WILL TAKE UR MONEY AND NOT FIX YOUR CAR !!!!! The biggest issue with Beaman Buick GMC is their communication. We took our car there on a Thursday and it took them 4-5 days to repair our car. They could not provide us with a rental. We called them 4 times to get an update on when our car would be ready, but no one picked up. We had to actually make a second trip to Beaman Buick GMC on-site to physically find the repair man and ask when our car would be ready. Think about this- the communication is so bad you have to make another on site trip just to find out when your car will be ready. I seriously hope the manager speaks to his staff about improving communication. read more

We are traveling in the area and our 2019 GMC 3500 diesel needs an oil change. We have contacted the dealership 3 times and asked to speak with a service rep to no avail. There is a recall on the engine block heater. Needed info on part availability and how long the oil change would take. The answer from customer service was well..... depends on what they go going on that day!! No answers given on the recall. Are you kidding me? After moving recently to the area, I was nervous to visit a different dealership for service/maintenance on my GMC Terrain. I made an appointment at this location and was seen right away. A tire rotation, oil change, full multi point inspection was all done in under 45 min! I was called for recommendations of maintenance and called once my vehicle was ready to pick up. It was made very easy. They also went out of their way to help troubleshoot an issue with pairing devices via Bluetooth. I was extremely relieved and stress-free when leaving this location! Dropped my car off to have my battery, windshield washer pump, and folding mirror diagnosed. The shop did ZERO diagnosis and said everything needed to be replaced. They attempted to charge me $600 for a $25 washer pump and $700 for a $3 gear in the folding mirror. I declined these options and replaced the battery only. I was made aware and charged the $75 "diagnosis fee" only at pickup. Pickup was another story. The vehicle was supposed to be ready by 1pm. At 1pm the vehicle was not even in the bay. When the job was completed, at 5pm, the technician informed me they closed at 6 but would stay another 5 minutes for me to pick up (I have class until 6). I show up at 6:05 and they are closed. Don't go here unless you want to hear wait time empty promises and pay an excessive amount for small repairs where they don't do a proper diagnosis. read more

The car broke down going through Nashville and they worked closely with me (I sorta manage all things car related for my mother-in-law) to make sure the issues were solved and we were taken care of. We recently went to purchase a new vehicle; our credit score was fair. The problem was we were upside down in our vehicle. On our credit app we specifically wrote in bold letters, no more than two pulls! Because too we are trying to purchase a house! Chris ( finance dept) is a poor excuse for helping and following orders! We have been driving this vehicle for over three weeks and they just now telephoned us and said the financing wasn't approved! Great place to get your vehicle serviced. I dealt with Robert and he couldn't have been more friendly or more professional - in fact everyone consistently smiled when speaking to their customers. The customer lounge was nice, clean, and quiet. They have free wifi, a nice HDTV and coffee. Every 10 minutes or so, one of the courtesy ride drivers would step in the room and ask if anyone needed a ride. I love it when businesses treat me like they appreciate their business and Beaman certainly did. read more
