I waited a very longggg time and at the end left with only the sandwich and not the remaining order. The gentleman at the cashier was new and didn't know how to do the refund but asked that I call them tomorrow to get the refund. I called this morning and they refunded me my full order, even though I did get my sandwich. I really appreciate the gesture and how they wanted to compensate me for the inconvenience. On recent visits they would sub out different cheese or miss ingredients/omissions we requested added to our sandwiches. On a good day they're probably top 5 sandwiches in the sunset but last couple of visits I rather grab something from other spots. The location is great just a few blocks away from the beach. I ordered the Westside special sandwich and it was decent, but my order wasn't quite right. I had asked for no bacon and expected it to come with Monterey Jack cheese, but it came with American cheese instead. Not a dealbreaker, but a bit disappointing. As for the açaí bowls, I tried both the mango (unintentionally again order wasn't taken right) and the regular. The mango version was okay, but a little too sweet for my taste and leaned more toward an ice cream-like flavor. The regular açaí, though, was really good and definitely the standout. I usually get a BLT but decided to go with the Yonkers Special, Pastrami, Gouda, avocado, pickles, lettuce and lots of mustard. This review is for their Dubai Chocolate Strawberry cups: for someone who has a sweet tooth it hits if you are able to bring it home and mix the whole thing in a bowl but there are a couple ways to make it better! There's a mound of knafeh that's all on top, which I wish was sprinkled throughout the cup so you can enjoy the crunch with each bite, and just have a little mountain at the top. Since I had to eat mine on the go, I had to eat through all the knafeh before getting through the strawberries. Then the other thing is that they really douse the cup with soooo much chocolate syrup and pistachio cream, that you can see there's like 1/4 of the cup full of syrup left once you finish all the strawberries.
