    Thai Iced Tea
    Kerasa T.

I only tried the Thai Iced Tea this time around but it was a really good one. Normally I'm not a fan of the Thai iced teas so I was pleasantly surprised how much I did like it. When I went (Jan.11, 2026) the outside looked like it was undergoing a remodeling but they were still open! You can get the Thai Iced Tea with boba but I went without this time around. Definitely coming back!

A tiny corner neighborhood spot, but delicious breakfast sandwiches and great prices! The owner was so sweet and the service was quick. Got a croissant sandwich with sausage egg, egg, and cheese with hot sauce and a vanilla latte for $9.50 which is unheard of nowadays. The sandwich is also pretty large and the croissant is toasted and buttery. It's a tiny place so not really any seating, more of a takeaway place. If I lived here I'd be a regular!

The Art Bistro has been in this neighborhood for many years. They offer a very affordable menu of bagel, croissant, sandwiches and coffee. They have a today special everyday at a very reasonable price. I usually will grab 4 if it is chicken, tomato and cheese sandwiches. They give a generous portion of ingredients. The coffee starts at $2 for a small cup in price. Not only the portion is generous, the ingredients are fresh. The sandwiches are made/assembled/toasted right after ordered. You will get a warm sanwiches with cheese melting and coffee steaming hot. One of the hot items that I always see customers order is Thai tea which is only available in 2 sizes - medium and regular (large). I am not a fan of Thai tea, too sweet for me, but my husband loves it. Other than daily special, they also offer kid's meal in the afternoon. There are 2 big schools nearby so you can expect a long waiting line during lunch and afternoon. In fact, you will always see multiple customers waiting inside and outside the store. That said, they are good, not just talking about the food, their staff are all nice and friendly.

Such a cute little cafe near Washington HS (I came here after the recommendation of an alum)! The prices are extremely reasonable and service is great. They make the bagel sandwiches fresh and with generous amounts of ingredients. It's a great to-go breakfast spot and in a pretty location. They only take cash so keep that in mind.

Such a gem of a coffe shop in the city! The best price you can get for a bagel sandwich in SF. Not to mention they give 3 pieces of bacon, delicious cheese they added some special seasoning to, and the bagel is soft and flatter than most bagel, not too thick. It's a perfect bagel imo. A very cute little corner store with the cutest, sweetest lady running the shop. Discovered this place two weeks ago and have been twice already!

The overall ambiance of the place was very cozy. The people that work there are so welcoming and lovely it made the food even more enjoyable. Got a breakfast sandwich with cheese, egg, and sausage with hot sauce. Pretty tasty along side some good Viet coffee and Thai tea ! Would recommend this place for a quick breakfast and a good energy pick me up !

Bacon Egg and Cheese on Everything Bagel - every bite is gooey, crispy and delicious. Highly recommend it with an iced Thai Tea.

I just gave it 5 stars becuse everybody else has and I see no need to bring down the rating.) On the way back to our car from TJ Cafe, i noticed, through the window, that the wall of bottles was actually topped by a big sign saying non-alcholic! Having been a member of a non-drinking community since 1962, I was fascinated to see such display and dropped in to check it out We spent some 15 minutes with Josh, an ex-bar tender, explaining his philosophy on the social need for community life withoug depending on alcohol (See his Youtube channel: "Josh the non-Alcoholic" for more on this). Josh gave my wife a free cup of coffee since TJ Cafe down the road had no had free refills, and we entered a draw to win a bottle of non-Alcoholic French wine. Josh surprised us by telling us that the French wine industry is going big on non-alcoholic wines. I bought a can of Vanua Bliss - a Mango flavoured Kava drink - vastly different from the Kava served to me during my 3 years stay on Tanna, New Hebrides (1977 to 1980) which was made by youth chewing the kava in their mouths, spitting it out on to a coconut sheath, then pouring water into it and squeezing it into a half shell of a coconut and cerimoniously handing it to you under the shade of a huge Nambunga tree as the twilight deepened! Such are memories made of. While Kava is not alcoholic, it does have some muscle relaxant properties and give a weird buzz of the tongue. I wish him well in his endeavour to allow the teetotaler community to enjoy the social aspects of drinks with their meals, without worring about the alcohol destroying our brain cell and livers!

When I came up to the place, it was nice to see that there was some tables out front with a couple chairs because I was with my wife and I thought will this be a nice way to have our sandwich instead of sitting in the car. We are in San Francisco on an appointment. This place was recommended to us by a friend at the VA hospital in San Francisco at Fort Miley. He knew the owners and said they'd make quality foods that you can take out or eat there. Nola, the owner greeted us at the counter. We introduced ourselves as a friend of her friends and said I came strictly over here to have a Reuben. I looked over-the-counter a little bit and I could see a sandwich they were building while I was there and I went oh my gosh mine looks half that good I'm happy. Generous portions of meat tomatoes lettuce all the toppings. They also use top ingredients here. This place is small, but it has a big heart and the food is delicious. If you're thinking, I don't wanna sit at a restaurant then you should think about coming here and getting a sand and taking it down to the beach and enjoying it there right where you bought it they have tables. Please be sure to look at the photos. I've posted for this place. I'm sure that afterwards you will probably wanna have one yourself. I will definitely return. This will be my go to place. It's so nice to get a small portion from the butcher instead of having to buy a whole pre‑packaged amount that might go bad. Their lettuce is shredded but fresh and crispy. The salt content is just enough to bring out the flavors. And the overall composition of their sandwiches are very well proportioned.
