After an epic week on the Cool Nerds Fishing Trip, we wrapped it all up with breakfast at Bear Tooth Grill--and it was everything we didn't know we needed. We went all in: huevos rancheros, biscuits and gravy, pancakes, and more. Every dish came out hot, fresh, and loaded with flavor. The portions were generous, and the food hit that perfect sweet spot between comfort and quality. You could taste that this place puts real care into their menu. What really made it special was sitting there with three of my closest friends, reflecting on the week, telling stories, and just soaking in the moment. No better way to end a trip full of laughs, fishing, and unforgettable memories.

I ordered takeout. I was at the end of a two day conference so I just wanted good food in bed and this did not disappoint. Their menu is extensive so I had a hard time choosing but my choice was delicious. It was fairly quick and the staff were great. I had the blacked chicken tacos and at first I thought it looked flavorless but it was not! I was pleasantly surprised. I will definitely go back to try something different. The place looks nice inside so next time I'm back in the area I may dine in.

This was another restaurant we enjoyed. The service was very friendly despite how busy they were. I enjoyed my seafood and my mom and brother enjoyed their burgers and sandwiches. Since guacamole was on the menu we ordered it and it made for a tasty appetizer.

Bear Tooth is one of my favorite options for dine in or take away food in midtown Anchorage. The waitstaff are always kind, the food is reliably good, and the margaritas are strong (and delicious). While I wish their menu changed slightly more often, I'll still always love coming here to eat.

Finally made it back here after many years! Great spot to meet friends for drinks after work. My fiancé and I ended up staying for dinner and it got super crowded. It's rare to find a good tofu entree in town, and their tofu bowl was delicious!

One of my favorite breakfast spots. They're connected to the theatre but they have their own entrance. The grill consistently has rotating special menu options and drinks. This visit I tried their Zacatecas sope and we got their last order of lemon blueberry pancakes. Yummm! Beartooth grill has a new patio that we thought wasn't open, but our hostess wasn't aware that customers could order takeout and eat there even if there wasn't a server assigned. Darn, next time. It has a beautiful mural and a sweet firepit. It was annoying that I asked for bacon with my Bloody Mary and was told it wasn't readily available but when I ordered food I was pushed to order a side of protein at which point I blurted "bacon!" Like...duh, been asked! I would return. I will return. Highly recommend.

Really enjoyed our time at Bear-tooth! The food was very tasty. The atmosphere was very comfortable and service great. I ordered the turkey bacon on focaccia bread with cilantro fries and this Sandwich is something I would order again. The only down fall on this was the fries weren't that hot. My friend ordered the Jamaican jerk chicken and he really liked it. The drinks are very tasty and would highly recommend trying this restaurant.

I always receive great service and solid food at Bear Tooth. My most recent visit is what prompted me to leave a review. Our waiter, Dalton, suggested the California Dream bowl and it was phenomenal. The sweetness of the coconut rice mixed with the spiciness of the sriracha and tart pickled veggies was perfect. I will be dreaming about this dish. I love the vibe here and can't wait to go back and eat outside on the patio soon.

Amazing seafood chowder!! Service was wonderful as well! Our server snagged us the last serving of the phenomenal seasonal bread pudding.

But the macaroni salad...weird? Or am I missing something? It tasted like run of the meal, store bought macaroni salad. Is it for the non fermenters? Cause that ain't me! Those fermented side dishes were the stars, until the bibimbap came out. The clay pot was more a large plate, but it was HOT and it made the rice exactly like I like it: crispy on the bottom and soft on the top. All the accoutrements were tasty and blended well with the rice and sauce. I wasn't sure what each of them were, so I tried a little bit at a time. They all had some unique savory flavors. In the end I mixed them all together for a final flash and bang of flavor. Service was excellent. Maybe the owner, maybe the manager was also seated at the bar and he stopped by at the end of my meal to ask about everything. Friendly and professional. The restaurant is clean and has great lighting. When one walks in, the bbq side is to the right and there is a bar area to the left. There is both tables and bar seating.

I'd give this place 4 stars-- it was a good overall experience. I didn't get to try the BBQ side,…read moreso I'll definitely have to come back for that. The vibe inside was a bit confusing--it looks upscale and fancy, with a full piano by the bar seating area, yet serves traditional Korean dishes that aren't particularly fancy in presentation. That contrast threw me off a bit. The food was decent overall. Portion sizes were generous for the price, which I appreciated. However, I wasn't impressed with the egg custard--it had an odd burnt BBQ taste that didn't sit well with the dish. Honestly, I've had more flavorful, higher-quality Korean meals at some of the smaller, more homey spots in town. That said, the service was excellent--friendly, attentive, and on top of everything. I especially loved the quick banchan refills!

Yes, I got wings at a wood fire pizza place - and boy, am I glad I did. We did the garlic Parmesan and the sweet heat wings. I don't know what magic they do to get the skin so crispy and bubbly, but I'm happy they figured it out! It's like popcorn, so light and airy. And even sauced, the crispy texture didn't end! We took half our wings home to Anchorage and even after the microwave a few hours later - still crispy. We told him that we just wanted good food with a chill, laid-back vibe where we could just eat and hang without being pressured to leave quickly. We stopped by and it was busy. Parking is right in the front and lots of spaces available. There was indoor and outdoor tables and luckily we found a booth. The menu is simple and straight forward. You place your order first and then take a seat. My friend and I decided to share a pizza, we couldn't decide and we got half and half, Pear bacon bleu and Greek. I also ordered a ginger ale. So I don't know why my friend decided to share a pizza with me, maybe we were both tired, or she was sooo hungry that she couldn't make any other choice but it was surprising because pizza is not really her thing. When we were ordering, I didn't think anything of it, but as we were eating and basically almost done she said, "You know what, I would come back and have their pizza, that was the best pizza ever!!" No argument from me...both half of the pizzas were so good. It was the right combo. The pear bacon bleu was almost like a dessert pizza but still very savory with the bacon bits. We were both hungry and the pizza size was perfect and filled us both. I never did ask, but do they make their own ginger ale? It didn't taste like any other of the Ginger ales that I've had in other places. This was flavorful and very carbonated. The whole meal was perfect! Wood fired pizzas are something special since not a lot of places make pizzas this way but even better when done right. I highly recommend this place!
