I didn't know there was a beard papas at this location and so I decided to try it out and see if it was as good as I remembered from the Irvine location. I had gotten the mini pack with 2 fillings. I got half vanilla and half cookies and cream. Total was only $8 and a couple of cents which isn't bad for 6 mini cream puffs. For 1 giant cream puff it's nearly $6 already and it's huge which I can't fit in my mouth

10/30/25 Cute (clean & tiny) place at the shops in the corner of South Street & 183rd (I think?) serving up cream puffs that are out of this world! Great service, too! We just had an amazing meal a Peruvian a few doors down & wanted to grab a quick dessert. I've never had Beard Papa's so we tried a few cream puffs, got the minis, 3 vanilla, 3 chocolate- oh so good with the crispy out layer & creamy filling. I loved the vanilla more than the chocolate. Also took home 1 ube fondant (lava) cake for later. It's been sitting in our fridge for 4 days & I decided to finally take the plunge. It's small for (see photo) $8.50 but, boy, did it surprise me!! Popped it in the microwave for 25 seconds & I thought it was going to be "meh". When I stuck a fork in it & out oozed this luscious, deep purple ooey gooey goodness.... WowZaH!!! Magical! It was devilishly decadent but light & delicious!!! Was it worth it? Absolutely--- if you're gonna splurge every once in a while. Will I order it again? You betcha!

Yup officially addicted, I think I like this way better than donuts.....in my opinion. Very tiny spot across from knead lol. Luckily it's never busy when we come in. Good service....including the bakers in the back.

Tried a box of cream puffs and my husband and I really enjoyed them! There was a good variety, and each one had its own flavor and topping. The cream was light and not too sweet, and the texture of the puffs was just right--not too heavy. It was easy to finish the whole box without feeling too full. The quality really stands out and feels very much like desserts from Japan. The staff were also very kind and welcoming. Would definitely come back to try more flavors.

These were delicious. It was my first time ever trying these and let me tell you, the melted in my mouth. I got a cookies and cream one and also a Dubai one. Both were tasty and were the perfect texture on the inside and outside. Service was great, the lady who helped me was very kind and its pretty small inside, no seating or anything just a grab n go kind of place.

Beard Papa's in Cerritos is hands down one of my favorite dessert spots. After years of always driving out to the one in Gardena and finding out there is a Cerritos location local to me I had to stop on by and it did NOT disappoint. The cream puff was made fresh to order, so the shell was perfectly light with a pleasant crunch, with different fillings you can choose from and if you're a fan of lighter cream you can definitely ask for 1 pump instead! They also had a great selection of other flavors, which made it hard to choose. The classic vanilla custard is always a safe go-to--rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced. The chocolate custard was deep and not overly sweet, and the matcha had a nice earthy flavor that wasn't bitter at all. I also love that you can choose different shells, like the original, or chocolate flavors and other seasonal flavors (Our personal favorite is the Strawberry and the Monster Hunter Wilds Cola flavor collab!) The staff was friendly and efficient, even with a line, and the store was clean and well organized. You can tell they take pride in making everything fresh because nothing tasted soggy or rushed. Beard Papa's does an awesome job with seasonal flavors and collabs, and the Cerritos location consistently delivers, it really drives home the same great flavor as the same Beard Papa's back in Japan! If you're a dessert fan or just want something different, this place is 100% worth stopping by. Whether you're there to get a set for yourself or a pack of 6 to share, it's a great sweet treat gift to bring to parties! I'll definitely be back for future collabs and flavors.

This is such a cute place. I know some people who are absolutely dedicated to cream puffs I found out about this place and had to try it. I ended up going at an odd hour. Nobody was there. One other person came in after me. So I had the staffs full attention. They were asking me how my day was and explaining the flavors and giving me their recommendations. They honestly seemed extremely knowledgeable and so friendly. It's always great when you have hardworking staff like that working for you. I ended up getting a couple different flavors and a regular filled cream puff. Ok, so here's the thing. For desserts, the sweeter the better. These were not very sweet, but I loved the flavor! Plus my mom is one of those die hard fans for any type of puff pastry/ cream puffs. So I'm actually thrilled this place opened. They do have close up parking and everything was a breeze They also always seem to be having deals going on like if you buy so many it's a certain price. So you end up saving a couple dollars

We found ourselves here due to a collab with Mashle anime. There is no dining space and is strictly a take-out shop. All that being said, it's super cute and adequately decorated for the current collaboration. The server is welcoming, helpful and enthusiastic about the items presented and sold. And the fact that the items are stocked and available is a huge point because we've been to many collabs where things are "sold-out" or just simply unavailable. If you're a cream puffs person, I highly recommend trying this place out. The presentation of the puffs is appealing--they're cutely packaged and colorful. I feel like you can't go wrong with the option of vanilla or chocolate pudding. It's all pretty darn good. It's located in a busy Cerritos complex with plenty of parking. Try to come during non rush hour times for a smoother experience.

The good: easy to order and lots of options. The fillings are filled on the spot and you can see the one person working doing all this. This is super lowkey casual spot but THERE ARE NO SEATS whatsoever here - so you just order and take it elsewhere to eat.

    Kevin Q.

Amazing dessert! Super yummy and the staff are all so friendly. Love seeing them at events in the local area! They had a super cool Mashle collaboration as well. The pastries are filled to the brim with crème and not too sweet, just perfect!

I finally stopped by Beard Papa's the other day and my experience was wonderful! The infamous Crumble Cookies is located right across the shopping plaza and although I've been curious about those controversial cookies, I went with my gut feeling and decided on Beard Papa's as I've been dying to try a good cream puff. I ordered the chocolate fondant and Oreo Puff for myself while my boyfriend opted for a vanilla custard pudding. When we arrived there were a few people in line paying for their pastries. There isn't any seating available and the pastry shop is quaint so this is strictly a grab and go kind of place. The service here was good as the young girl behind the counter helped us out pretty quickly. The chocolate fondant is ultimately a mini chocolate lava cake and the cashier recommended me to microwave it for about 15-20 seconds. It's safe to say it was pretty good. It reminded me of the chocolate lava cakes from Domino's but fluffier. My boyfriend ended up giving me his vanilla custard pudding and it was also quite good. It tasted like a vanilla gelatin with a hint of coffee. The star of the show was most definitely the Oreo Cream Puff. I had the choice of vanilla, strawberry, or chocolate custard filling inside the puff and I opted for chocolate. I hands down give that pastry a 10/10 and wish I ordered a few more as I demolished my Oreo Puff immediately. Overall, I recommend Beard Papa's to anyone with a sweet tooth looking to try something different. Get the Oreo Cream Puff, you won't be disappointed.

This is the second time this place got my order wrong. I paid extra for ube filling and I got vanilla custard for both puffs. Very disappointed.

You have ONE slice of their special occasion shortcakes (strawberry, mango, and I think one more variety), and you instantly become a new customer--this has been their calling card for DECADES, and they EXPONENTIALLY grow their clientele with each cake sold (potentially a new customer per slice). Their customers are SO loyal that--as far as I can tell--Honey Bakery isn't even on social media--word-of-mouth, even in 2026, is all that's needed--their baked goods speak for themselves. I highly-recommend their MILK BREAD (you'll be willing to make a special trip here, SOLELY to pick up a bag or two)--if you're a bread-lover, you'll find their freshly+baked loaves to smell intoxicating, and let's see if you can stop yourself from snacking on JUST one slice, right out of the bag....they're REALLY addictive. I've been coming to Pampanga's Bakery in Artesia for a while now, and it's long overdue that I actually give them their flowers. Their selection of kakanin is also massive. The **Puto Assorted** and **Puto & Kutsinta** packs ($3.90) are always perfectly soft, vibrant, and fresh, and they have massive trays of **Biko Pandan** and **Cassava Cake** if you're feeding a crowd. For the savory side, the **Chicken Empanadas** and **Fried Lumpia** always hit the spot. And of course, there's the **Turon**. Yes, the price has risen to $1.05 a piece, but honestly? It's just modern economics, and it is still worth every single penny. It is still the absolute best of the best--shattered-crisp, perfectly caramelized on the outside, and packed right. One thing they have always been consistent about is the quality of their turon--and unfortunately, the long wait times as well. There have been several occasions when we had to pay and come back later because of the high demand for their product. Because we live about 30 miles away, we were advised to place our orders by phone before making the trip, which is exactly what we've been doing. Yesterday, however, we experienced one of the most inefficient customer service experiences we've ever had. We called multiple times to confirm our order, and the staff who answered assured us not to worry because they had plenty available and that our order would be ready when we arrived. When we got there, the exact opposite happened. We were told they had run out of turon and that we would need to wait another hour. While discussing the situation with the cashier, we watched another staff member assist the customer behind us, who purchased 60 pieces. We had preordered only 30 pieces, yet somehow they were able to fulfill that larger order while failing to honor ours. Poor customer service will eventually drive customers away. Yes, the product is excellent, but there will come a time when the product alone is no longer enough to keep customers coming back. Given the popularity of their business, they should be focusing on improving their customer service and honoring preorders to maintain customer loyalty. Good products attract customers, but good service keeps them.
