We heard mixed reviews about this buffet. But yeah, since we are staying in the hotel, we figured we would try it one night for dinner. We absolutely loved it all the food that we ate was amazing. They've got food from all over in the buffet, we are going to try it another night and see if they change it nightly. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The living that waited on us was by our table every 5 minutes, making sure we had everything we wanted. And refill our drinks. ** 5/6/25 This morning, we just tried the breakfast buffet amazing spread.

First of all, it's pricey (like everything...I know) and you want to get your moneys worth. I never do. The food is "hit or miss" and more miss than hit. Servers are usually good and the ambiance....well it's usually crowded and loud. (It is in a casino.) Sometimes I get a comped meal and I can't complain then but $30+ ...no thanks. Roast beef was dry. Ribs tasted awful & dry. Burnt ends were good. Crème brûlée was amazing.

Beautiful Sunday brunch at The Beau. One of my party asked for salsa and was directed to the salad bar portion of buffet to find none. Only complaint. Service was great. Cutbacks were only evident in the pastry section. I remember the beautiful pre-Pandemic artisan donuts. Also the croissant wasn't laminated. It reminded me of an undercooked canned pop-out biscuit. If they upped their pastry game it would be perfect. Buffet was @$30 and Mimosas $6.50

This buffet is so great. The price is not bad even for dinner and we've never had to wait to get seated. Huge buffet with so many options. The Mac n cheese is worth the price of admission alone, maybe the best I've ever had. The fried chicken is great, all the meats and sides we had were great, seafood was too. Food is always fresh and they change it out often. The dessert area is huge and has so many great things to choose from. Big salad area. Service is as great as well.

The food wasn't good at all, I got mainly vegetables and a rib. And a salad. Everything was dried out. The salad was good. My husband got some fish, shrimp and fried crawfish. The only thing he said was cooked right was the fish. Our waitress came and brought us our drinks and we never seen her again. ( I still tipped) The chairs were extremely hard and even know there was plenty of seats closer to the buffet my husband has a brace and walks with cane mostly and was on this night. And they sat us furthest away from Buffet. The lighten was also very dim in the dining area. I was really disappointed, I had high hopes for this buffet. Had actually planned a day around it. Only because we heard how marvelous it was. Well it wasn't last night. We got there at 6:30 their buffet opened at 5pm on Tuesday night.

Food is boring. They dont have seafood. Service is good. Waitress is nice. The restaurant look nice too. But the main point is food. They fail. I don't come back again.

We live local but like to go here for a staycation. One of the better casinos around here and weekday room rates are great.

A locally-owned gem with Southern hospitality and delicious Italian food…read more Having been a fan of this restaurant a few years back, I was excited to try it again after recently moving back to the area. After a couple of unsuccessful attempts to visit on a Sunday (they're closed!), I finally made it on a Tuesday evening. I was promptly greeted and seated by the friendly host right as they opened at 5 p.m. Our waitress was welcoming and took our appetizer order right after our drinks. We were debating between the mozzarella sticks and calamari, and she recommended the trio, which included both, plus fried zucchini - a great suggestion! Soon after our appetizer arrived, the owner and chef came to our table to introduce himself and check on our food. It was a nice, personal touch that you don't see very often. While the service was a little on the slower side, it was clear that the small but mighty staff was attentive and making their rounds to all the tables. For our main course, we ordered the chicken parmesan, which was a generous portion, easily shareable for two, and came with a side salad. It was yummy. This restaurant has a certain charm with its combination of Southern hospitality and Italian cuisine. I would recommend it based on my experience. They also have some weekly specials (unsure for how long) : -Wednesday Family Night: Large 3-topping pizza for $11.99 -Thursday Date Night: The $5 corkage fee for BYOB is waived, and they offer a "share a bowl" upgrade for $5.99 (usually $9.99), which gives you two servings of protein instead of one. Overall, a wonderful dining experience that I'm happy to recommend.

From what we observed, there appeared to be only two employees trying to do everything--seat guests, take orders, wait tables, and manage other responsibilities. The restaurant seemed clearly understaffed, and while those employees appeared to be doing the best they could, there was very little communication or engagement with customers. It took 10 minutes just to be acknowledged and seated despite no one waiting, followed by another 10 minutes before a table was ready. Once seated, it took another 5-6 minutes to receive water, and after that we simply sat waiting, and waiting, and waiting. We noticed other customers experiencing similar delays, and after receiving little attention or explanation, we decided to leave. No one even came over to ask why. Hopefully this was just an off day for Mangiamo, because good food alone is not enough. Customer service, communication, and proper staffing matter. A simple acknowledgment or an honest explanation goes a long way. Management should ensure they have the resources and oversight necessary to provide the experience customers expect, because first impressions and service are every bit as important as the food.

Let me say, the atmosphere in the restaurant was amazing. Live music, warm lighting, attentive servers, it's hard to find a reason to complain and it would be nit-picky to do so. The menu is MASSIVE. I didn't count, but if you told me there were 100 items, I would believe you. I get they want to appeal to everybody. Most restaurants can't even do 10 dishes well, let alone the amount present on this menu. So when I see that it makes me nervous, you might very well be looking at a minefield of a menu where some items are delicious and other items...well...not so much. Anyway, I started with the mozzarella...I forgot what they were called but it was a mozzarella stick but much larger. They were huge and if you like cheese, you will like these, no doubt. Moving on, I ordered the Veal Parmesan. Flavor was great but the texture was off, breading did not stay on the meat (not that I expected it all to) but clearly the chef failed to dry the exterior of the filet before frying it. In spite of that, the seafood my other dinner guests ordered looked great and I realize that its probably the restaurant's strength. I will probably be back to give it another shot.
