Online I kept reading about crab legs, crab legs, crab legs....I get here and they do not have any crab legs. The food that was here was pretty good I'm not sure if it was over $20 good....the line was long and moved slow waitress brought us each one drink said she would bring more and we never saw her again. The buffet food are subpar. Went on new year eve, charged $50 a person due to it being a holiday so they had 1 lobster per person. The lobster wasn't even good, ate just a small piece and threw rest away. Regular day price is $27, so they charge more just for a holiday. The Beau Rivage's Buffet is disgusting. They even messed up their world famous gumbo; it is actually pretty tasty at the snack shop. I went across the street to the Hard Rock and the fried chicken was good, unlike the nasty chicken they serve at the Beau. Their seafood is nasty too, two other patrons warned me but I did not listen. Even their deserts were strange tasting. They should visit the Golden Corral, or their competitor across the street, or even one of the hotels in Vegas to get an idea on how food at a buffet should taste. since we stayed here on a fri night we decided to try the buffet. the line was getting quite long so we got to enjoy the platinum benefit of skipping the line. even so, the buffet was not a great meal. they had both hot and cold snow crabs, along with cocktail shrimp (with shells). the rest of the food was whatever. some small mussles which i didnt try. some fried pork chops, fried chicken, fried calamari, fried oysters (this was good), some roast meats, a pho station which i only tried the broth and it was aok. a small sushi area and small asian area. nothing really stood out except the dessert for me. otherwise i would have given this place a 2 star rating. honestly i would have rather spent my money elsewhere! read more

I was at the Beau Buffet on Father's Day. Needless to say, I am writing this review because I was less than happy. I have been coming to the Beau since it's been in Biloxi. I have gone to many shows at the Beau and would reserve the bucket, swivel seats. Maybe two years ago, the Beau stopped allowing none VIP members to reserve these particular seats which I like. I continued to frequent the buffet, however, because I loved the variety it offered and the food was great. Not this time though. Now, the Beau charges it's patrons for bottled water and wine--that didn't use to be the policy. Next, my favorite thing to get is the snow crab legs. Now they don't allow you to get your own crab legs. They hand you the crab legs they want you to have. They seemed like they are old and cold, the meat was too difficult to get to. When I requested certain ones for her to "hand" me, those seemed to be a little more fresh. It seems as if they were attempting to get rid of leftovers in my opinion. I am going to have to find me another favorite place to eat. I tried Harrah's Flavor Buffet yesterday and they offered FREE bottled water and the crab legs were fresh, delicious, and you can get them yourself. read more

This buffet was amazing but we ran into some problems here. We sat down to eat after paying and using our credentials. About 10 minutes into eating our waitress told us we needed to hurry up because they were getting ready to close. They were not getting ready to close we found, they were getting ready for dinner apparently . We said we did not mind paying extra for dinner. I'm sorry but this has to have been the worst buffet experience we've ever had! From the long and drawn out check in (for what reason I'm not sure??) to the poor food quality, lack of cleanliness and taste, just absolutely inedible dishes and awful presentation- I found this entire visit be very disappointing to say the least! Went to the Beau for the show, which was excellent by the way, and decided to eat at the Buffet. We had a 2 for 1 cupon deal so I figured how could we go wrong. Big mistake.......very disappointed in not only the quality of the food but also the selections offered. It was around 5pm and the pork loin was hard, dry and crusty. I extected everthying to be hot and fresh at that time. I have eaten there several times in the past and was wowed so I dont know what happened this time. Beau Rivage buffet is a let down. Fried shrimp was from a box or bag of frozen prebreaded shrimp, I had hoped they would have some fresh fried shrimp. They tasted awful. Some kind of Asian beef that was too tough to eat. Boiled shrimp on buffet were huge and looked forward to them but they were so hard to peel and very tough to eat also. The sweets were good. This is our second time eating at the Beau Rivage Buffet. The first was a year or so ago. The buffet is plentiful and lots to choose from. A huge salad bar, seafood, Mexican food, Chinese food, about 4 or 5 dessert bars to choose from. Basically any food you can think of is there. They did not have the Alaskan crab claws or any crabs at all for that matter. Most casino buffets have them every night but there are a few that only have them Friday and Saturday nights. The atmosphere was very relaxing the servers were really good! I was surprised at how quiet it was for a casino, I was expecting it to be a little loud. But it was perfect! They even had a frozen margarita machine towards the back of the buffet if you wanted a drink, wine, or margarita. Would definitely recommend this buffet to anyone looking for a good meal. My mom and stepdad had some M life rewards/MyVegas comps, so we took advantage of those offers. I'll admit I came in with average expectations as some of the buffets I've been to lately (both in and out of casinos) haven't been too great, but the Beau Rivage was great! The pork chops, mac & cheese, chicken parmesan, baked ziti, and southern fried chicken, were delicious! Although I'm not sure if I'll return to Beau Rivage's casino since the chances of winning anything are very low (maybe the day I went was just an unlucky day), I'll definitely return to the buffet on a future trip to Biloxi! I really can't figure out how this buffet gets a higher rating than one star. Sure there is a large selection....of unedible food! My husband and I tried several items, and couldn't eat a single thing. Had to go to snack bar after dining at buffet, as we couldn't eat anything at buffet. Very poor quality, even for a casino buffet. Can't fault service- we had no issue with that. But when you leave a buffet still hungry that's bad. We'd rather have quality than quantity... The rooms are clean and staff friendly. Been coming here for years, it is a lot closer than having to go to Vegas. It would have been a higher rating, but not very happy with how the casino has changed the comp. Rating system. For years they have always given us a upfront dollar amount for food and beverage. I was told AFTER checking in that they no longer do this. What was a little upsetting is that I asked about this on the phone before booking the trip. I was told that with my game play I should be fine. I talked to the host after checking in and was also told that I should be fine with the history of my play, but it would be reviewed at check out. I completely understand why they have to do this, there were just too many people taking advantage of the system, but they should have been up front with me about this. I would probably have came anyway. I will see what happens at checkout. My thoughts are that they think my express comps have gotten to high (over 1k right now) and they just want me to have to burn some of them off. If they don't take care of me I have other options on places to go where they will take care of me. I may change the review after checkout depending on what they do. read more

This has become the worst buffet on the Mississippi coast. The management has reduced the number of people a the registers from 3 to 2 making the wait very long. They no longer do a lunch buffet on Saturdays. The only nice things are some of the wait staff. If you are looking for great buffets at a reasonable price the IP has a champagne brunch on Saturdays and the Palace has one on Sundays. I decided to eat the buffet because it was recommended by a hotel guest where I stayed. So me and my honey decided to eat here. While approaching the buffet there was a long line so of course I was thinking ok this must be the business. Thank God one of the employees that work at the casino told me and my guest that there is another line on the other side that is normally not long and it was much quicker. So it was a Friday night which was seafood night and I was excited. The price was 29.99 per person which included your beverage. Once we sat at our table I had to check out the buffet. I must say that it was a very extensive buffet, I was too excited to try as much as I can which can be terrible for my waistline but hey I am on vacation. I saw that mostly people were taking advantage of the snow crab. I personally don't like to eat them because it is too much effort for the amount of crab that you get. I did enjoy the prime rib and other fried foods. My only complaint was that there was not may vegetable options on the buffet. Also for an additional 5 bucks you can add the unlimited beer and wine with you meal which I found out after we already paid and ate! read more
