Small store but always helpful and friendly staff. I feel there is not much to review with these stores, prices are always the same all over Oregon so really just look for a clean orgnaized store with nice people and this fits the bill. read more

Popped in real quick while out running errands, looking for a bottle of Suntory whiskey. Sadly, they were completely sold out of it, due to a sudden and unexpected run on the brand. However, the employees (and one particularly helpful customer) were polite, apologetic and exceedingly friendly, engaging me in conversation, explaining the situation, discussing similar alternatives, and even suggesting new Suntory products that would soon be hitting their shelves, one of which they were particularly excited about. Their professionalism, candor and friendliness got me interested as well, and not only for the whiskey, but to return as a regular customer. I snagged a bottle of another brand to tide me over, but I'll definitely be back to check out their suggestions! read more

Discriminatory staff. I live with autism and was trying to purchase a bottle. I was belittled by the staff, laughed at & accused of being a minor because I didn't remember the address on my ID from 2019. Not everyone is so fortunate as to be able to live somewhere long enough to remember an address, not to mention lack of memory is a part of my disability. I even offered to have the police come and verify my age but they said they wouldn't sell to me regardless. Staff need to be trained on customer service. This whole event caused me a lot of stress & I will never shop here again. Also the lighting isn't ideal. read more

Not a huge store but has necessary items in each category. No wine or beer selections. Maybe a couple local beers. It's pretty organized and staff are very helpful. They have taken time to know their customers. They have taken measures during Covid to protect everyone. I do feel that some of their prices are a bit high. I've seen items elsewhere for a bit cheaper but doesn't deter me from going. read more

Only been here once but they had a good selection. Small but quaint space. The COVID-19 distancing was followed and other customers seemed to cooperate. Will definitely go back when I'm on the neighborhood. read more

Decent little liquor store. The lady behind the counter was helpful and friendly. They had my Wild Turkey Rye--some places don't. Easy in-easy out. I was headed home with my booze in a brown paper bag in less than three minutes. My gawd, liquor is expensive in Oregon! read more

It's bad enough we have to buy our booze separated by a counter, but what is up with the "no cell phone in the store" rule? How am I supposed to find out what to pick up for my husband? Read his mind? Not only did the the man scream at me for using my cell phone in the store (my back was to the counter, I was speaking quietly, it was too noisy on Killingsworth to hear), yelling at me "maam, maaam!!" but then once I had made my decision, the female employee had to go in the back and report to this man what I purchased. Oh, am I on some sort of list now? Were you going to deny me my purchase because of my cell phone? Is my picture going to be on the wall of the "bad OLCC customers?". Nice to know that this state run store will gladly sell to overly intoxicated people (which I have observed multiple times in this store) but heaven forbid you should use your phone! Get off your damn high horse. So sorry you hate your job. Don't make it my problem. Have a nice day! You are lucky I haven't reported you in the past. And no, this store is not anywhere near Beaumont...and no, I will not spend another dime in it. Hollywood Liquor can have my money. Run of the mill liquor store, controlled by the OLCC. As Gretchen W. mentioned, they have a no cell phone policy - and personally I say THANK YOU! There is nothing worse than standing in line behind someone who is talking on their cell phone while they are trying to complete a business transaction. Not to mention that sometimes what they are saying to their cell phone is offensive, loud and rude! Let the business conduct business and let those on their cell phones finish their conversations elsewhere - regardless of their tone, politeness or sense of entitlement. Perhaps you were talking to your husband about what to buy, or perhaps you were talking to your 17 year old girlfriend about how to make a margarita. Either way, as with driving, cell phones don't belong in this equation. The store is stocked with the appropriate liquors and mixers, cigarettes and lottery tickets. Standard fair at all liquor stores in the state, although this one has slightly less of the cage-like atmosphere I have felt elsewhere. And unlike the parking lot, you are in and out in no time. read more

Never have a ever had somewhere like this, that I have spent thousands of dollars at over the years, speak so Ill of me after leaving the store. I was asked to leave due to only allowing so many people in at a time which I understand but what happened after blew my mind. I was let back in the store after being told I cannot be in there at the same time as my wife. After a few minutes and one person leaving the store I was let back in. She then let multiple people in even though I was originally kicked out when in there with my wife. So I left and I guess the employee didn't think my wife was there maybe but started just bad mouthing me and I did zero wrong except be a loyal customer. I've seen them do this before when I was shopping to other people but always just figured it was a customer being dumb. Guess I was wrong. I suggest using Rose City liquor or one of the other closer more friendly stores first. read more

My favorite thing about this place, is the people who work here. There is one girl in particular who normally helps me and she's such a sweetie and is sure to brighten anyone's day. It's a really small shop that gets a lot of traffic and they make do with the amount of shelf space available to them. I would request just a few things to be added though. Some nicer whiskeys and scotches would be a good addition. Their prices are standard, and their bar ware selection is very limited. They are also closed on Sundays which is a bit of a bummer for me because I work nearby and Sunday is my Friday! Luckily, there are still a few other shops in town who cater to Sunday drinkers. read more
