After having bought Certified pre-owned Kia stinger The tires that were put on were wrongly mounted on and caused unrepairable damage to the tire and had to buy 4 brand new tires. Don't you think after buying a certified pre-owned vehicle that they would check to tires to see if they were put on correctly? We were sold a lemon 2021 Kia Soul and have had ABSOLUTELY NO HELP from this Kia. At 5k miles our transmission blew up while we were traveling on i5. We then spent a month without a car because of this. No rental given. At 9k miles our engine started shutting off randomly when driving. We brought the car in to be serviced and they told us it was the AC filter causing the issue. Had us pay $100 to replace the filter and were told to leave. The issue continued and we had to make an appointment for the fallowing week. In that week the car shut off 8 times while driving. On the way to the service appointment for this issue to get fixed for the 2nd time, and the car CAUGHT ON FIRE ON THE FREEWAY. LESS THAN A WEEK AFTER BEING SERVICED. No rental car was given and we spent 10 days without a car before kia corporate got us a rental that Beaverton kia had to set up. We asked them to place the rental in Vancouver as we moved out of state. We go to pick up the car and shocker they messed up the rental. It was over an hour away in beaverton. Had to call into enterprise ourselves and do their job and fix our reservation. Couldn't even get that right. This car had less than 10k miles and we had 2 catastrophic engine failures and a fire. I had to make a social media post to get any help from Kia corporate because Beaverton Kia refused to help with the problems or reach out. When I was finally connected with a representative I was told that this Kia Beaverton location not only could reach out to corporate for me, which they should of, I was also told they did not keep proper records of all the issues and fixes that have done. Trying to cover their asses and make the car not look as bad. We have copies of everything and was able to help fill in the holes. This dealership is sketchy as fuck and does not deserve your money. Don't buy a Kia, but if you must DONT GO HERE. THEY DONT CARE AND WILL SELL YOU A FAULTY CAR. When ordering it the parts staff never mentioned it was a special order and that there are no refunds(I'm in the 15 day return window). Now I'm at parts and they won't refund me anything. I work with Kuni BMW, Sunset Audi and Porsche and the list goes on but this place is highway robbery. I'm done ordering parts, motorcycles, or anything to do with Bob Lanpheres. Do not get your car serviced here. I took my Kia Soul here for a recall repair of the knock censor. The report I got back stated the knock censor issue was resolved, along with a three page list of everything needing repairs. I was told I had an oil pan leak and the wrong power steering fluid. That was fishy to me as I never had it replaced since buying the car. When I told the maintenance person just that, he become extremely irritated and rude. As a single female I am used to auto shops trying to scam me assuming I know nothing because of my gender. I took my Kia to get a second opinion and sure enough, no oil pan leak and power steering fluid was correct. 2 weeks later, I set off on a road trip. I heard a knocking noise and my check engine light came on. Many things on my dash malfunctioned. Took it to a mechanic far from home and was shocked to learn the knock censor issue was never resolved. It was replaced for a small fee. Kia service center endangered my life by telling me something was resolved when it wasn't. Of coarse when I brought it to their attention I was not believed and actually laughed at. I have filed a consumer report and will never have anything to do with Kia again. Maybe if you're a man you will have a better experience. What do I know with my Lady brain. read more

Went to the dealership on 5/22 and asked for Allen Williams. Was advised by a sales manger that Allen was not working at that time. After further discussion with the sales manager, he quoted me a price for the vehicle I wanted to purchase. Later that day the sales manger via email quoted me a price $1,000 more than previously quoted. I made my displeasure known by stating in a return email, "We are done." The following morning I was telephonically contacted by Allen's sales manager, Jonathan Robertson in an attempt by him to salvage the situation. I indicated to Jonathan that I only wished to speak with Allen. Jonathan to his credit, not wanting to antagonize me, wisely acceded to my request by not pursuing the conversation any further. Later that day Allen contacted me and advised that the dealership would honor the price originally quoted to me. Went to the dealership and purchased the vehicle. Since I was dealing with Allen everything went smoothly, as expected. Allen is a good, honest, truthful man. His demeanor is that of a quiet, respectful, unassuming individual. He is unlike some car sales people who make you think car sales is the world's second oldest profession. Not honest and looking to simply over charge in the name of competition. When they asked our budget and we told them, they "explored" (using their manager) if we would be willing to go beyond it. When we Said " our budget is set" (we had a good budget of 15k for a used car) they simply said "we are very competitive given today's market situation". Instead of being honest they kept us waiting for opportunities that never met our budget and criteria. They were very dishonest. Then it gets totalled then all of a sudden they care. Legally they have 30 days to handle the title. Nothing but crooks at this dealership. Shop ANYWHERE else your guaranteed to be treated better. I've been looking for a specific car for a while now and I've gone to two other dealerships and they were terrible and extremely pushy. So I sort of generalized my experiences and expected the same to occur here. Buttttttttttttttttt it was the exact opposite. Everything was amazing and so smoooooooth. I inquired about the car online and immediately got a response from John Paz-longlastname and he was quick to answer my questions and my emails. I decided to take a chance even if the dealership was 40 minutes away from where I lived. I'm glad I trusted my gut. I met him the next morning and they had the car pulled up to the front and everything for me to check out and test drive. John was super friendly and easygoing. It felt like a friend was selling you. He was honest and genuine which are such rare qualities in this business. We then sat down to talk and he met the price that I wanted to purchase at without even a fight. It was amazing. We then met Will who was to take care of our finances and he accommodated us even more after asking us open ended question on where we want to be. He then worked to make it work. He even checked in on us every once in a while to tell us his progress. We ended up with a deal we weren't expecting to get. We were so happy. I had their service department diagnose my Kia, the diagnosis took much longer than expected with no communication. I needed to transfer the vehicle to another mechanic to have the warranty honored. They described to me missing parts, parts sent in a big heap (no grouping of parts in bags, etc) causing a full extra weeks work on the other end. I had to call in around 5P just to find out he was not in- after I had emailed and texted the sales rep with ZERO reply. After leaving a voicemail I was called by someone else whom said they could not make a deal. My issue being, that just because the deal was null this time doesn't mean I wouldn't return. In fact I am getting a large bonus this week and now have that for a down payment... As someone who directs a sales department myself, the way this lot treated my business was poor in the least. RUN !!!, DON'T WALK from these guys: a recap of a my 2 year service history with this dealer. #1 service appt: they gave a complimentary oil change (very generous). I asked for a tire rotation. Upon pickup,invoice says it was done. I look at my tires and it wasnt done.I bring this up but didn't create a fuss. #2 service appt: I got a flat & got a tire there. I paid for an alignment and requested the alignment printout. When I picked up my car, I was told the printout was unavailable because the alignment printer was not working. Again, I brought this up but didn't make it a big deal. #3 service appt: decided to get another tire as I didn't want differing thread depths. Upon picking up my car, the tire wasn't replaced. I asked why, the advisor said he didn't know I wanted it. Really? By now, their lack of attention to their customers is becoming a pattern. I became visibly irritated and asked for the tire. The advisor became equally irritated (not sure why) and asked for me to pay upfront to have the tire ordered as they didn't have it in stock. So they don't do what was asked, asked for prepymt of items (most service items are paid upon completion or upon acceptance of parts: I know because I worked many years at dealerships). I've had enough and got it done cheaper a Discount Tires. #4 service appt. I called for an oil change appt to minimize the wait. They quoted me 45min-1 hr. When I got there, they said they're backed up, said min 1.5 hr. I told them I had an appt & was quoted 1hr. WOW! I asked whats the purpose of an appt when its not honored? He asked if I wanted to make another appt. I said what I learned is to simply walk in, not bother with an appt since its appts are not honored and its obvious its first come first served. At this time the advisor became smart with me and said that would guarantee me a 2 hr wait. Now I work with customers all day myself and if my employers saw a pattern of escalating conflicts from me like this, I would at best be severely reprimanded. Before leaving, I had a word with the service manager, explained my experiences in the past and today. He asked if waiting 1.5 hrs was an issue. Am I speaking to a manager? This guy doesn't get it. Doubling the time and he thinks its ok? Having service advisors give smart ass responses when customers are angry when promises aren't kept? Really? You're a manager of customers and you point the finger at customers when the end result is your business misinformed your customers? I am a customer willing to pay more for stuff done at dealers. They also told me since the model was the previous years they would have to sell it as officially used but I would still enjoy the full warranty which would begin as soon as I purchased it- LIE#2! Fast forward to years later when I actually need to use the warranty and SURPRISE, SURPRISE! My warranty is not valid because I AM NOT THE FIRST OWNER! These slime bags sold me a return vehicle and told lie after lie to get me to buy it under FALSE pretenses. When I bought the car I nearly walked out when we got trapped in the finance office by another slime bag who was trying to sell us add-ons and refused to sell us the vehicle until we watched a video describing why we MUST have all the add-ons. He said watching the video was "REQUIRED BY LAW"! WHAT??!! I decided then and there that I will NEVER give them another dime although I have since wanted to upgrade I have driven the same car to avoid having to go through this BS again. FYI if you are looking for a new or used vehicle you can buy one through Costco, Sam's Club, AARP or many banks or credit unions also have car buying programs. They will search for the exact car with the exact options you want and sell it to you for fair market value. He basically unofficially diagnosed the issue, and apologetically but honestly said because they're backed up, it would be 3-4 days. **Sidenote: a dealer I will not name still has my car since early SEPT, because of staffing and parts issues, so 3-4 days sounded pretty good. What industry isnt having some kind of issues right now? Picked up the car today. It was exactly what Carlos said it was, covered by a service bulletin, and $0. We recently leased a Forte from Beaverton Kia. Allen Williams was our salesperson and he was great to work with. There was NO pressure from him at all like you feel from many car salesmen. My wife wanted a certain color and Allen was very patient with us. There was some waiting process while they found the car for us with a good negotiated lease. I mentioned to Allen I needed to go find a snack while we were waiting (for medical reasons) and he opened his desk drawer and offered me a choice of fruit that he keeps on hand. Allen was so friendly, helpful and patient with us. We would ask for him again. We LOVE the Kia we got and it's a fun car to drive. read more

We have leased a KIA Soul from Beaverton KIA and at first the service started out very good and we were impressed and happy with our lease and the service package we purchased to accompany it. But the last few interactions via the service department have left us greatly disappointed and making it easy to decide not to purchase or do another transaction with Beaverton KIA once our lease is up. We had an air conditioning odor issue in our Soul, that from what we were told and read it was known issue. We had that serviced and we paid for it, though we thought it probably should have been comped. After the service appointment, driving down the highway, the hood of our Soul came up and we realized that it hadn't been latched after the service. Pulling over on busy highway 26, I scrambled out and secured the hood. But you can imagine that both the hood coming up and then having to get out on a busy highway was not exactly soothing or easy. We called back to the service department immediately to let them know, and they apologized profusely and said that they would put a free detail clean of our car on our account. I called today to schedule an oil change as part of our service package and have the detail clean done during the same appointment. They had no record of any of the issues, nor did they have any notation of a "free detail clean" I was told they don't even detail on weekends, so it couldn't even be done. Then the service representative went further as to let me know he couldn't even schedule an oil change for me until the month of November. After some difficulty I was able to get an appointment for the oil change on the day that I needed, but it took some work. And the complimentary detail clean for the hood fiasco is null and void from what I have been told. We are severely disappointed with the service lately at Beaverton KIA, from creating a dangerous situation for our family with the hood being left open and then to not sincerely making good on a promise that was adequate compensation for us for the problem. It could have been so simple to take care of this and instead it has just fizzled out, and what I gathered from the attitude of the phone call to the service department today is "Eh... we don't care." That's it.... At this point I can assuredly say that once the lease is up on this vehicle we will happily return it to you and take our business elsewhere where the value of the money we spend with you is adequately matched in the service given back to us. read more

It can be intimidating to purchase a car, especially if, like me, you haven't been in a car dealership for a while (13 years to be exact!) I went to Beaverton Kia to look at a used 2009 Nissan Cube and was immediately welcomed by Allen Williams. He showed me the car I wanted and was willing to show me anything else that may interest me, but I never felt pressured into something above my price range or that I didn't want. Allen listened to my needs and it was clear that he just wanted to see me with a car that I would like and that would fit in my budget. He walked me though the sales process and made it as easy and comfortable as possible. In fact, each and every person I came in contact with that day was helpful, understanding and reassuring. I think Beaverton Kia's unofficial motto should be "No Problem!" because no matter what issue I had (my husband is working in another part of the state so he couldn't sign off on our trade, I couldn't find the title for the trade, etc.) "no problem" was the answer. Had a very good experience buying my new 2011 Optima hybrid. Last new car I bought was in 1998 and car sales seemed like getting slimed. I felt I needed to shower after every visit to a car lot. Fast forward to 2011 and my experience changed greatly. Bobby was our salesman and he was helpful, personable and not pushy with making us decide what car to buy. He's knowledgable about the automobiles and seems genuinely interested in helping his customer. He even cleaned our car before we drove it away (the usual cleaning people were gone for the evening). The actual purchase paperwork, etc was a bit too much like old school ("let me go run this by the manager," nickel&dime about whether to get extended service warranty, etc). Nonetheless, I would totally recommend them. From the perspective of buying a Kia, I was impressed with the quality. It's not some cracker box automobile any longer. Nice quality. Beaverton Kia has good reviews, it's why we decided to shop here. It was mid-June. We were hunting for a good price on a Kia Soul. Adel, the person we met in the lot, was kind and courteous. He showed us a handful of vehicles within our budget. He was patient as we test drove them to see which one was right for us. Then, it was time to negotiate the price tag. We entered the office building, only to be greeted by different sales rep. He was younger, though awkward and stout. My overall impression of him was soured by his aggressive, impersonal demeanor. My mother is in her 60s and looking for a car. Her English speaking skills are limited. It was obvious (from an outsider's perspective) that I was translating each line he spoke to her in our native tongue. As the conversation progressed, he grew uncomfortable and took this as an offense. He remarked, "Would you mind speaking in Laotian, at least." The comment was rude and didn't sound clever enough to be comical. Rep guy, please don't ask me to erase my culture when perhaps, you've already done it yourself. This is America. We are a mixed melting pot after all ... My mother had a price range in mind. We let him know. The sales rep leaped from his desk and left our cubicle in silence. He circled the lobby. We waited ... Midway through his laps, he indicated that an "approval" was required from his supervisor. Oddly enough, we never saw him walk through any door. The laps continued. From the corner of my eye, he was circling the building ... buying time and scheming. I got dizzy. He wasted our time because he refused to nudge the price, not even a single George Washington. You gotta try harder than that buddy. When things didn't go his way, the sales rep terminated the conversation and left us at the cubicle. Immediately, he greeted the next patron who was standing next door, audible enough so we could hear the salutation. He left us there, high and dry at the table. With nothing left to do, we excused ourselves from the building, while he embraced the next intrigue. The cycle begins anew. Overall, it was a bit of an insulting encounter. The sales rep was impersonal, rude, and unskilled in the negotiation process. Perhaps, because we were all Asians at the table, it gave him permission to treat us less. these people are horrible. don't use them. DON'T USE THEM!!! they advertise their used inventory with incorrect model specs, i know, i'm one of the victims. do a search and you will find another unhappy customer they did the same thing to on a nissan suv. this dealership is full of idiots that don't know what they are selling.
