For a very long time, I would drive past this establishment and never thought to stop in. I came for a work golfing event, and we ended up getting refreshments at Beck's Prime. Honestly, the food was really good, I was pleasantly surprised. The Dr. Pepper hit the spot, but that baked potato... REALLY GOOD. It was my favorite part, along with the truffle fries. I didn't expect either to be that good! The place was clean overall. The bathrooms could use a little work, but everything else was great. Customer service was good as well, they gave us plenty of time to look over the menu before ordering, which I appreciated. A solid experience, and I'm glad I finally stopped in.

This Becks Prime is located next to the golf course at Memorial Park. As an occasional runner, it's always tempting to pop in for their ahi tuna burger, fries, and a shake. I went there a few weeks ago - after probably a decade - and I don't remember it having so much indoor and outdoor seating and great views. And they have coffee. (There's nothing fancy about the coffee, but it's nice to know about that option since I haven't seen the coffee stand at the park in a hot minute).

I can't even count how many times I've either walked by or rode my bike by their sign along the Memorial Park track but I finally went there to eat with my hike group and I gotta say, it's a nice environment! You have plenty of seating inside and on the patio and a great sunset overlooking the golf course. The food is pretty good too. Most people probably go for the steak or a burger and fries which is what they're best known for and at first I was a little worried because I'm on my diet but it turns out they have healthy offerings too. I got Julie's Ahi Tuna & Veggies and everything about it was good. I just wish they had a little more Tuna but overall it's a good value and the same thing would probably cost more at a dine-in restaurant.

Came here for a quick bite to eat since I was craving a hot dog. It was cooked perfectly and the sweet potatoe fries were fresh. We sat facing the golf course and it was a beautiful view. The service was friendly, and good came out fast. The restrooms were not very clean. And the restaurant tables and floors could have been cleaner but the food was good. I'd go back when craving becks.

Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and a great location. A Great place to catch some drinks or food after a round of golf I imagine. Or you can be like us and go there in lieu of jogging. Yes. We came to jog (or provably walk). But alas, we found ourselves stopping by the clubhouse for munchies. And then not leaving. Exercise Fail. So Parking sucks. I haven't been in a while. But It's paid parking now. What's going on? The ribeye sandwich. I think the cashier called it "The Becks". It's been almost 30 years since I had one. It had a nice smokey flavor. But it was a bit on the thin side. What I really didn't like was that it was awfully salty. And this coming from someone who likes salty. Queso has a slight kick. Im not sure how we got the salsa. I think it comes with the chips. It was a bit bland. More on the sweet side than spicy. The thing I didn't care for the most were the chips. Chips were super greasy and just glistening. Like every piece. Even worse, they were also super stale and chewy. I think they chefs thought they could fry them long enough to make the staleness go away. They give you a lot and we ran out of queso/salsa before the chips. Small shake reminds me of a frosty. Really thick and hard to drink through a straw. Spoon is definitely required. Sodas - free refills! Brownie for being prepackaged was very moist and surprisingly good. We spent over fifty bucks for 2 sandwiches, chips/queso, a soda, a brownie, and a desert sized shake. 30 years ago I think it was like $7 for the ribeye sandwich. Now it's pushing $16. And that's ala carte with no fries or drink. Inflation sucks.

I contacted the restaurant directly to provide feedback and their recommendation is to call when I place an order and not to order online. I ordered the Jax nachos with chicken. I added guacamole and requested that the guac be on the side. Instead, all toppings were placed on the side. They did not add any charro beans which -combined with the queso, are what make these nachos my favorite. I am disappointed that the restaurant's solution placed the responsibility on the customer rather than owning the error. They indicated the receipt says all items on the side (see images) and that beans were not selected as a topping to be added. The website (their site not a third party site) does not have an option to add beans as they are a part of the entree in the menu description. Had they apologized and taken responsibility, they may have retained me as a customer.

It is tiny and packed tight inside, but they do have patio seating as well. Parking is very limited, but you can find street parking nearby. Reservations are highly recommended but walk ins are welcome. We had a few people taking care of us that night and they were all great. I was between a few items and they were very helpful in steering me in the right direction. We started off with a few bottles of wine to get the night started. From what I understand, their wine list is one of the things they are known for. Your only other option for an adult beverage is limited options of canned or bottled beers. I didn't really have a say in the wine we shared, but what we had was delicious and paired nicely with the items we ordered. For starters, we went with the highly recommended bread service. Get this! This bread was so good. I doubt they make it as ordered, but it came out like it was fresh out of the oven. It was a nice crusty bread with a fluffy interior served on a cutting board with a huge smear of miso butter. We then went with the Crispy Cauliflower which was one of my favorite dishes of the night. It was smothered in a gochujang aioli and reminded me of a general tso chicken or something. Very good. Thai Chili Rubs was next and these were so good as well. I'm a sucker for all the Asian flavor profiles and this hit that. For my entree, I ended up with the Pork Chop w/ Chutney. This was a huge chop on a layer of apple sauce and a wonderful chutney that contrasted the sweet sauce. Every layer worked well together. I will say the pork chop was just slightly over cooked, in some parts. It also came with green beans which was cooked just right. No room for dessert as we had another party to head to. Overall, I'm glad my friends picked this spot for their birthday celebration. I am now in the know about this place and will consider coming back in the future.

It was pretty chilly inside so we opted for a booth on their covered patio. They also have an uncovered patio, however it was empty because it was raining. Parking is pretty adequate, especially for the Heights. Their lot is divided into three sections. The main entrance is through the uncovered patio. I didn't catch our server's name, but he was really nice and made good recommendations. The staff overall was super nice and very attentive. They did a great job of keeping water glasses full which I always appreciate. My friend and I both had the Paradise Smashburger and added Beef Tallow Fries. The burger had a double patty and it was so delicious! The patties had the crispy edges as a smashburger should and it was very filling and flavorful. The fries were good, especially with the aioli that we requested on the side. The food was amazing! The cocktails on the other hand fell a little short. I really wanted a Key Lime Pie Martini but they took it off the menu a few months ago so I ended up ordering The Houstonian. The Butterfly Pea infused gin caught my attention. What didn't catch my attention was the star anise. I don't really care for this spice and it had a prominent taste in the cocktail. I don't like to send drinks back so I kept it, but if I were to order it again, I would order it without the star anise because I enjoyed the other flavors in the drink. I also had the Pearadise with gin. I enjoyed the peach puree, but it was a bit tart. A little simple syrup would have helped to balance out the flavors. I made reservations just in case for indoor dining since it was raining, but when we got there, the inside was freezing since we were wet. We didn't know that there was a large covered patio. Most people sat in that area, so we sat in a side booth there instead. It was comfy like patio cushions. We opted for that instead of the iron seats. Service was great. We ordered the Paradise smashburgers (mine without shredded lettuce) and added the hand cut beef tallow fries ($19). I asked for the aioli on the side, as well. I thought the burger was great. The meat had great flavor and was juicy. I liked the pickles. Compared to other photos I've seen where it was too much bread, my burger had a great bun to meat ratio. I added some ketchup and the aioli. The fries were great, but I wish I didn't get the tiny or small bits of fries compared to my friend's full cut fries. They had two non-alcoholic drink options, and I tried them both. The strawberry refresher was made with Seedlip, housemade strawberry syrup, lime, and soda. I preferred this one over the Palm Springs one because it had better flavor. The Palm Springs has coconut water, cane syrup, pineapple, soda, and toasted coconut. It wasn't what I expected it to taste. It was bland and was mostly coconut water and soda. It lacked the pineapple flavor to add sweet and tart notes. It wasn't sweet at all and also didn't have toasted coconut on top. It had a tiny snippet of maybe the end of a pineapple leaf that was browning? Not good. I took it off. Sad to see this place go. It is pretty nice inside and out. I enjoyed the smashburger compared to Burger Bodega down the street. The NA drinks could use some more love. I wish I would've tried the bread pudding! Totally forgot and was also full.

The Brussels sprouts were flash-fried perfectly, and I loved the sweetness of the chili honey glaze. The oysters had a nice crispy coating, but I found them to be a little bland. The redfish, though, was absolutely the star of the meal. I cleaned my plate. It was served with Hoppin' John and a lemon butter sauce.
