Maybe I ordered the wrong things, but I wasn't really blown away by anything & felt like the food lacked flavor. Probably would not go back based on better options in the area.

We came for a quick lunch on a weekday and had no trouble getting a table. Everything was great! And the service was good too. We shared the tabbouli appetizer. My friends got the chicken sandwich, and I got the merguez plate. The pita is a little crispier in texture than I like (more of a naan). The merguez especially was incredible. Would definitely come back!

When you first walk in the restaurant looks more like a take out place but there's charming decor in the back and a cute outdoor space, though it could use some fans. The service is friendly and attentive but we had to ask for appetizers to be brought out first before the mains. The food is good and tastes home made. The pizza was great, nice crust, spicy with merguez sausage. The ouzi was interesting but the chicken was severely overcooked.

The food is always an amazing experience. The dishes are classic and delicious. The service was warm and inviting. The waiter was very attentive. The atmosphere was warm and comforting. Soft music played in the background and the space was clean.

Kind servers but mediocre food - the hummus was flavorless (no hint of tahini or garlic or any other flavor, just a smooth texture). The lambjin pizza (2/5 stars) tasted like the crust was a frozen pizza, the sauce and ground lamb were fairly flavorless. The spinach cheese pie (4/5 stars) was our bright spot! Great crust and filling, I could recommend it :) unfortunately the falafel (2.5/5 stars) was only medium.

Food is good and fresh. Reasonable pricing and good portions. I had the lamb sausage platter. Fresh. Delicious Satisfying...

Just had an amazing meal here! First stopped in just to get a babaganoush to go but after having that decided to stay for a full meal. When you first walk in you see all the fresh pizza dough and pizza being made. We got the foul (fava bean salad), tabbouleh, falafel plate, and merguez plate. Everything was wonderful and an amazing price! And the service was great too :) also byob if you want to bring wine or beer

This is a no, no. I have yet to a leave negative review, but I guess there's a first for everything. I was extremely disappointed with this order. After paying $40 for a chicken plate and a falafel plate what I received was BEYOND underwhelming. The chicken amounted to about eight small nuggets, and the falafel came with only three pieces. Both plates included just a small scoop of hummus and some wilted lettuce. I had asked for extra hummus since I don't eat pita, and while they said they would accommodate, it seemed more like the portions were reduced instead. At any middle eastern restaurant I've ever dined at they pride themselves on their food and give heavy portions. I wasn't expecting a heavy portion but when I hear "plate" I expect a plate, not an appetizer. When you look at other pictures of the falafel plate they come with 4-5 pieces an order. Please explain why I only received two? The flavor was fine, but the portions and value are unacceptable for the price. I would like this to be rectified to change my review.

Dined in twice and have ordered delivery on multiple occasions now. It must be good because I keep on coming back. I love their fresh pita that you see them making front of house when you arrive. Everything tastes delicious and the price point is good. A sleeper in this area and worth a stop for a healthy, affordable option.

Great spot! Friends suggested to meet here before Mariah's Christmas concert and this place didn't disappoint. Service was friendly and on point. Food was delicious. I will definitely come back when I'm in Brooklyn.

    Dry Leg of Lamb Plate

Wow absolutely horrible, the one star was bc i cant put zero. 20$ for a plate of dry shriveled and stale lamb, no salt no pepper no anything . Not the move if u respect ur taste buds you would go somewhere else . This was so sad the food was rly rly truly horribly bad . I also got a hummus plate which was not enough hummus for 12$ way to much money for chicken peas. Also its kind of dirty place the windows are not clean . Its just a no go anywhere else

Good food, decent prices, nice ambience! Ambience: this is a fast casual place with a nice seating area. We came here on a rainy day and they have an outdoor area that was covered and very comfortable. I liked how the inside incorporates the middle eastern feel Food: I got the chicken sandwich, which was decent. I think it could have been more flavored and a bit warmer, but still good. They have a lot of meat included. If I return, I'd order the plate because it comes with really hot and fresh pita, which tasted so good! Service: decent service. One thing that was a bit odd though was they didn't provide everyone with utensils or napkins Price: reasonable prices

Got a TGTG order here. 11/10 I'd do it again…read more Brooklyn DOP actually originated as a pandemic business where my friend's personal trainer started baking pizzas outside of his Greenwood Heights apartment. When the hype got large enough, the owner decided to start a pizzeria and the rest is not history. This is one of the more worthwhile TGTG orders to me. Their pizza is SOOO perfectly crisp and charred, and actually is one of the closest pizzas that reminds me of the famous originals in Napoli.

Brooklyn DOP is a prime example of what happens when a pandemic lockdown, a dough obsession, and an…read moreinability to sit still all collide. We visited as a stop on Scott's Pizza Bus Tour, which meant we were actively evaluating it against some of the best pizza in the city. Evaluating pizza on a tour is tricky because excellence becomes relative when you are eating multiple high-end pies in a single afternoon. According to Scott, Brooklyn DOP began in founder Thomas Ardito's apartment during the 2020 lockdowns. With his primary work on pause, he started baking pizza and selling pies through Instagram to pay his rent. People kept ordering. His friend Jason D'Amelio joined the effort, and what started as an apartment project turned into pop-ups and eventually a brick-and-mortar shop on 5th Avenue in Park Slope. That is a considerably more compelling origin story than a corporate franchise business plan. The setup in Park Slope includes a quiet back courtyard, which offered a comfortable spot for our group to sit, eat, and recover between stops. It feels relaxed and distinctly Brooklyn without trying too hard to remind you where you are. The pizza itself is very good. The crust strikes a proper balance between a crisp bottom and a chewy interior. The toppings are handled with care, from the crushed tomatoes to the fresh mozzarella. This is dough crafted by people who take fermentation seriously rather than relying on pre-packaged shortcuts. On its own merits, the pizza is a solid 4.5 stars. Unfortunately for Brooklyn DOP, it was competing on a tour against places operating on another plane. It is an excellent pie, but it was not the single slice that caused the entire tour to fall silent in collective awe. Still, that is an aggressive standard to hold against any local shop. Brooklyn DOP offers a great courtyard, a serious approach to dough, and a standout product. Landing just shy of five stars says far more about the sheer volume of elite pizza we ate that day than it does about the shop itself. Four stars. And if you are not spending the afternoon riding around New York with Scott Wiener eating pizza at some of the finest pizza joints the 5 boroughs have to offer, you can probably bump that half-star back up.

I see a lot of patrons working in laptops, some meeting up to talk and sip and even the barista chatted with a local patron. Love it! My chai was piping hot and absolutely delicious. The chai was frothy, rich, the black tea leaves infused with cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, cloves, sweetener, and milk. I savored every sip and complimented the barista.
