It's nice to have a boba joint nearby lol no longer have to drive far to get a sweet refreshing tea!!! Bee & Tea is following all COVID guidelines and offers hand sanitizer at the register. I got a iced black tea with ginger and MAN OH MAN did the ginger have a kick to it!! I have been here a few times and the drinks are always on point but the service can be hit or miss some times. Been to different milk tea places every now and then, and this is the worst milk tea I've ever had. Second time here actually, ordered the taro for the first time, all you can taste is pure sugar sweetness, second time, today, ordered the classic flip, 50% of sugar, and yet, all you can taste is sugar and the sweetness of the boba, you can barely taste the milk, so nope, not going back. read more

The steam buns were microwaved. No soy, no chopsticks, and no napkins given. Fruit slushy had no fruit just syrups. Thai flip drink had no defined layers and tasted watered down. Playing loud music with vulgar language to the point we had to ask to change the music because of our kids. read more

Drinks are no good. They were so bad that my ten year old was adamant about writing a review: This is the most worst boba place I ever went to! My sister got Strawberry Milk Tea, but instead it tasted like bubblegum medicine. My dad got matcha Thai Tea and it taste like fake matcha flavor. My mom got a lychee drink and it gave a bad taste at the end. This is trash and a disappointment. We had to wait like 35 minutes for our drink. The people that came inside after us got their drink first. Do not go to B & T, it is not worth it. read more

03-18-20 came here today to try it out. Place is very nice, roomy and located in the Ralph's shopping center. With the cancellation of in person dining, I came here and it was dead. I ordered black purist which is classic black tea with boba. I ordered it with 25% sweet and less boba. It had good flavor but still bland. If this was sweeter it may have been better, but I can't have it too sweet. I also tried their char siu pork baos(buns), it was a good size for the price. $2.29 each and $6.49/three. I got the three pack. These were pretty good. Good proportion of meat and dough and good flavor. Will definitely get that again. They offer a lot of drinks, I recommend trying it. read more

Bee & Tea was a surprise little spot in Chula Vista that didn't disappoint! The prices are reasonable, and the flavor combinations are both typical and atypical, with the usual and some new combos that I can't wait to come back to try out. Our drinks came out very quickly, and all at once. Which as a group of 5, we really appreciated. I tried the "S'mores" which was delicious, but I have to say I was a tad disappointed, because the description stated "toasted marshmallow" so I was thinking there would be marshmallow foam or something on top which would have made it a whole new level. (Right? Right?!) So it looked sort of plain. We also tried the "Queen Bee" black milk tea and honey, this was also a great combo. Great place to get some work done. Lots of outlets at each table. Doesn't get too crazy and they were playing some pretty good music. They have a wide variety of drinks that are all customizable. First time trying this spot. My daughter wanted to try boba because the drinks always look interesting. The staff wasn't very helpful they were aloof and clearly don't understand what it means to have a customer service job....serve the customer make suggestions. Needless to say the staff making the drink was quick and efficient so that's a plus and my daughter liked it. Will we return? If we do, I hope the staff steps up their customer service. read more

Went here a couple of times....but this will be my last time. Wasted $21on 4 drinks for the most powdery drinks in my life. All you can taste is the powder and sugar. Super love this Boba spot. They have a huge variety of different types of tea, smoothies, and boba. My favorite is the Sweet Georgia Peach, no sweetener, and lots of honey boba. They are able to accommodate any level of sweetness you'd like AND they have a variety of milk alternatives. The prices are incredibly fair and the size of the drinks are huge. Everyone here is really nice and you can tell they take pride in their business. It'll be nice when things open up and you can sit down inside. The decor is super cute and I like the Bee theme. I'm a big Boba fan. I hunt and drive miles to find great Boba places. This place was ok, nothing bad but nothing that exciting, I decided to try something new, Sweet Georgia Spice, maybe it was my choice of drink. It wasn't something I would get again. This was my first time trying this Boba place. I usually like tapioca express or San Diego tea Company in national city. I got a mango smoothie, the Pinkerton fruit tea, and some of their Bao buns. My father enjoyed his mango smoothie however, I did not like the Pinkerton drink. The drink was supposed to include jasmine tea, lychee, peach and raspberry but you could only taste the jasmine tea. The jasmine tea was brewed too long and was extremely bitter. The bitterness overpowered any of the other flavors that were added. For the bao buns I asked for the chicken curry , pork and the steak. Unfortunately, they gave us two pork buns and one steak. They didn't include the chicken bao we had ordered. The steak bun was good but the pork bun had a weird flavor that I did not enjoy. The service was pretty quick, but based on the tea and bao buns I don't know if I would return. read more

This place is small and cozy. They have variety of options so I ordered a tropical crush smoothie since it looks healthy and my friend ordered the strawberries n cream. The drink was sour and good and my friend said his drink tasted unique, he never had a flavor like that before. Overall a good experience and there were a decent amount of people in there ordering too. read more

The worker who took my order wasn't really welcoming. The price isn't too bad as boba places are expensive now a days. The drinks are good, they do come super sweet though so make sure to adjust it. I ordered the classic flip boba. I came here to study since it's close by my house. The boba is good, but this place is not a good spot to study. Workers are so loud especially the music. It would be nice to study peacefully. I don't mind the music but even when I had my airpods on, I can't concentrate nor focus on my work. I'll come back for the boba, but not to study. read more

The food and the service were equally outstanding. I really enjoyed all of the entertaining table side menu items they had available to order. Another thing that is always a really big nod to us of great service, is when they treat our kids just as well as us adults. They greeted them, spoke to them, and even ended up creating two mocktails from their personal preferences. We really appreciate that so much! We ended up ordering a variety of things to try for our family of four: the table side Caesar salad, the Steak Sampler, a Filet, Lobster, Mashed Potatoes, Mac and Cheese, and Truffle Fries - we loved it all! Perfectly cooked and everything we wanted it to be! We were so full, but after viewing the dessert cart all night, we had to try some! The most decadent, delicious, chocolate, layered cake was our pick. As we were waiting tho, we saw the table side banana foster dessert being made and had to order that too! No regrets!! It was all perfect!! They also kindly brought us out a really good peanut butter and jelly macron, but the star was that it was topped with a gold dusted Wu Tang emblem on top - LOVE!! PS - even the bathrooms were fun! I really look forward to trying more of their restaurants!

We loved that they were made fresh to order, and the matcha and sesame dipping sauces made them even better. Our server was very friendly and checked in on us throughout our meal to make sure we had everything we needed. Thank you for the great service! We only had to wait 30 minutes to be seated which was a lot better than 2 hours. Little did we know, it would take a whole hour for us to get our food. We honestly could've waited the 2 hours for Morning Glory and gotten our food at the same time if not earlier. The restaurant wasn't packed with customers but they were definitely short staffed or something because there were two couples sitting next to us who were also waiting for their food. One couple was ready to leave when their food came out at that exact moment. The servers did apologize and told us that they were having issues with the kitchen. They also offered us all free orange juice. However, if they knew they were having issues with the kitchen then they should've told us earlier before we got seated so people could go elsewhere rather than waiting an hour for their food. Overall, service here was very poor. In terms of food, it was unfortunately pretty good but not worth the wait. I really liked the simple toast with matcha cream on top as well as the curry hamburg. My friend ordered the shakshuka (not pictured because it came last and everyone just wanted to eat at that point) which was also pretty good. For the avocado toast, the toast was too hard so I wouldn't recommend it. We also ordered a yuzu and matcha yuzu mimosa. Both tasted like yuzu. The matcha yuzu one was basically a green yuzu mimosa. They have a vero water purification system so their water was really good lol.
