Photos for reframe of the orange chicken, cucumber salad, soup dumplings and sides. Overall, customer service was pleasing and portions were big. Could the food use a little more flavor, yes.

I really tried to like this place but I haven't been this underwhelmed in a VERY long time SADLY. Let's start with my first dish, the Mongolian Beef, or more so the Mongolian Veggie platter as this meal was 75% onions and veggies, 20% beef, and 5% sauce. It gets a score of a 4/10! Next was the Eight Piece Pork Soup Dumplings, these were decent. I've definitely had much better. The dough was super thin and the soup was lackluster in both taste and amount inside the bun. Very disappointing and earns a 5/10 score. Lastly we had the orange chicken. It was lackluster and was just a filler. 5/10. Overall, this place is not worth the drive and I most likely wouldn't recommend.

We found this place by accident after leaving the dentist office across the parking lot. It's absolutely amazing. The food is fresh. The staff is super friendly. You can watch the chef making soup dumplings while you eat! The food is a variety of different choices and all of its excellent. We really enjoy the Kung pow chicken and the sweet-and-sour chicken and their beef roll is tremendous.

The soup dumplings were decent. I would go back for them when I don't want to drive to Chinatown. I wouldn't get the beef noodle soup again. Our server was really nice and helpful. The restaurant is very clean

Love love love this spot! I have been multiple times since their opening and the food does not disappoint. Great taste, great serving size, great service. I can't recommend them enough.

This place is amazing, greatest dumplings i have ever had in my life, flavorful and delicious, and the service is excellent. We have tried the pork buns, the pan fried dumplings, the scallion oil noodle, and the shrimp chow mein. Excited to come back and try the rest of the menu. (Try the chili oil as well, it's the best I've had) The drinks are great too, i had the mango drink and it's very tasty.

We got the pork soup dumpling , SO good. Chili oil was great. We also got the mongolian beef, really good portion size for the price.

Came in on Thanksgiving and was so thankful they were open. Got the beef roll and the salt & pepper chi c kewings -- both were super good. Crispy, flavorful, not greasy at all. Friendly service and a really clean spot. Will definitely be back!

This fairly new establishment is great! The ambiance, food, and service is 10/10. Leon was our host and he was very welcoming. Best of luck on your second location. To many more!

Ordered a few dishes and everything was good. The salt and pepper wings were crispy, the Kung Pao chicken was solid, and the beef roll was really nice. Would definitely come back.

App to find a new place to eat with no real feelings toward any particular place. Landed on Calliope's page and read the reviews. Looked good to me so I headed there. Restaurant is on the end cap of a strip plaza. Has a drive-thru as well (pleasantly surprised to see that on my way out). Parking is ample as most businesses were not open on a Saturday after 4p. Parked right in front. Dining room has about 6 tables for up to 4 people each, as well as two Hi-Top tables with seating for two each. Counter has 40" TV screens with the entire menu on them right above the cashier station. Menu cycles through pics of a few food offerings as well. Came because of the review suggestion of the Boudin egg rolls and the Suicide Shrimp Boiling Pot. Ordered both from the nice cashier who explained the entire menu, best sellers and offered modifications to the rice as well. After I paid for the order, was given a disc pager and took a seat. Dining room was clean and well lit. Waited about 15 minutes and the cashier motioned to me that my order was ready. She explained that the boiling pot sauce was placed on the side so the shrimp wouldn't be soggy and explained the other sauces that were included in my order, which were the boudin remoulade and the boiling pot garlic butter. I paid about $28 for the appetizer and main entree. They offer sliced cake, bottled flavored punches and Coke product fountain drinks, as well. It took me about 30 min to make it home and the food was still hot. The shrimp are small to medium in size; the fried rice comes with scrambled eggs, carrots, peas and onions (which I had removed). Boiling pot comes with one potato and a mini ear of corn with a boiled egg. Think: shrimp boil deconstructed. The sauce was mild flavor {offerings are Regular (no spice), Mild (medium spice) and Extra (chili sauce based spice)}. The sauce on the rice and shrimp were flavorful but I found even the mild to be too spicy for my taste (have acid reflux, so I actively avoid spicy foods). The rice was good (I added extra scrambled eggs, additional fee) and the plate is more than enough for two people. The egg rolls have cream cheese inside. Though not my taste, my roommate enjoyed it with the remoulade it comes with. Overall, between the cleanliness of the location, the service of the staff, the portion size, and value for money, I will be back to sample other items from the menu.

There were also a lot of families, which was cute, although I personally am not buying my daughter $16 fries. Our waitress was personable and made great suggestions, especially regarding mocktails. This is important for non-drinkers because there are no mocktails on the drink menu, but the bartender will craft something you will like. Even my friend who normally avoids mocktails was very impressed. Apps: Crab Hushpuppies - 10/10: Crunchy, crabby, and came with a fantastic honey butter sauce. Caviar Tater Tots - 6/10: Well done -- they literally whipped the potato on the inside -- but at $37, you are paying more for the caviar, which was missing that fresh, creamy saltiness you normally seek. You also only get 4 tots. I would just get two orders of the crab hushpuppies. Mains: Chicken - 10/10: The truffle sauce was dreamy, and I think they could sell it on the streets. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and tender, and the dish also came with flaked truffles on top. I normally do not order chicken out, but this dish makes me wonder what I've been missing. Lobster fettuccini - 7/10: I don't think this is the dish to get here. The lobster didn't taste the freshest, and it also didn't have a lot of lobster to begin with. The shrimp were good overall, though a few were not cleaned properly so I had to toss those. The stuffed catfish was the absolute star of the show, so tender, so flavorful, not overly salted at all. It was exactly what I had been hoping to find all weekend. The scallops were the one miss, coming out rubbery, so I probably would not order those again.
