When i first moved out here this was my go-to shop. Lately ive been disappointed here. One time i called to ask if they could help bleed my brakes and was told to youtube it. I didnt let that bother me too much because if i did it myself it would save me money, but i dont like messing with the brakes which is why i reached out to this shop. I later took my truck in for a clutch/slave cylinder bleed. They did the job, but shifting became hard. Went back and they told me it might be a bad slave cylinder which is inside the transmission and to pump my clutch every morning before driving it. I told the mechanic to go ahead and fix it, but he started to complain about how its too much work and i might need a new clutch as well. I told them to replace that too if it needs to be replaced (since the transmission was going to be out). They told me again it was going to be too much work and that if something went wrong they would be responsible and it was too much of a liability. They made it pretty clear that they did not want to work on the truck, so i wont be going back to them. Dont get me wrong the staff here are very friendly. if you need simple car service like a tune up or new brakes, im sure they can get the job done. read more

Sean is my hero today. For awhile I was noticing my brakes were not working well. Replacing rear brake pads he diagnosed that my car needed a brake master cylinder and was able to replace it today. He did the work in a timely manner. Thinking it was another problem he tried to fix it that way and when he realized I needed the new cylinder he did not charge me for that hours worth of work. I'm not quite sure why there are so many negative reviews, maybe they're from a while ago, but I love this place. I've been coming here for about two years now and have never encountered a problem with anyone working there and they've always helped me out in a timely manner. To add some validity, I've had my oil changed here a few times, tires patched up, tires changed, air conditioner fixed, etc., so I would say I have a grasp of how this place is managed and works and it has always been stellar service. I won't go anywhere else as long as I am in the area. They're lower prices than most other scamming shops in the area, they're nice people, and they do quality work. I don't know what else anyone is looking for outside of being too impatient that they aren't the center of the universe and it takes time to get their cars fixed. Terrible shop. Initially took my old truck there for a replacement driveshaft center support bearing. They replaced that but failed to properly diagnose the problem that caused the bearing to go out. 3 months later I'm back to replace the u-joints. All said and done I spent nearly 1000 dollars for repairs that shouldnt nearly cost that much especially on such an old, simple truck. Used an impact on my oil drain bolt and when I went to finally do my oil change by myself the bolt was stripped inside the oil pan so I had to buy a whole new oil pan no real mechanic should use an impact on that bolt brought another vehicle and they tried showing me a YouTube video saying that this is what they think went wrong when I could have stayed home and watched a YouTube video myself I don't need them to tell me what they think broke I need them to actually find out what really broke non the less the pricing was to high. We are all consumers and one of the most important thing a merchant can provide is Great Costumer Service. You skimp on that and your business suffers. I left my suv last Friday at around 830am with a nice mechanic named James to check my AC that wasnt turning on. He wrote on a sticky note my complaints and I handed him my keys. No paperwork was given to me or anything proving I had just left my vehicle for service, unprofessional. Its was 130pm and I haven't heard anything from these people. No problem found, no quotes..nothing!!. I called them and they said car ready by 230pm. I got there at 245pm, James told me that AC system was recharged but not cooling maybe a small leak somewhere!! They took 6 hours and $148.00 to tell me that!! Why didnt they call me asap to get okay to find and fix the leak!! Still No AC!!! Very disappointed, never again!! Next time call the car owner and offer the service thats needed not some bullshit excuse and bring car back crap!! Im going back to Alonsos Auto Repair!! read more

shop will get the job done but not at a reasonable price. I asked how much it would cost to diagnose my misfire and he said $65 but he won't charge that if I get the work done there. finds out its an ignition coil and says $200 to fix including labor, I assume at that price he'd be replacing my whole set of ignition coils which costs $100 for a set of 6 but he only replaced one which only takes about a minute to do.. the next day I went to pick it up and the owner isnt there and the mechanic says to give him the money to get my car out and to come back when the owners there to get a receipt, I look at my car and ask why I got charged $200 for replacing one coil which is about a $20 part at most and takes a few minutes and the mechanic says well it takes a long time to find out whats wrong... so I'm basically being charged for the diagnosis when I was told I wouldn't be. unreasonable pricing. they fixed the misfire but the car is still lacking alot of torque but they didn't even bother to check that so I'm definitely not bringing any business back to them read more
