Excellent location with a large and lovely outdoor space which feels removed but is not. It highlights how quiet Dutch Kills actually is. Well known for their excellent brick oven pizza, I always opt for pasta which ranks as some of the best in NYC, in particular, the sublime Orechiette w/ sweet italian sausage and tuscan kale. Outstanding. Mussels in pilsner is my fave appetizer. The broth is cooked down to resemble something otherqorldly good. Very good wine list offering a high quality Gruner Veltliner Management needs to help the very good staff more. First time it was great, had two pizzas and coffees and they were all 5 stars. Service great. Went back and got kale salad which we had to send back because there was so much dressing on it it was inedible. They took it off the bill. We also had pancakes which were gummy and raw in the center- did not bother to send back because we had already sent back the salad... pizzas were good. I guess just stick to pizza and drinks. I had the margherita and hot italian. I requested extra jalapenos on the hot Italian but that request was ignored. I was already in my hotel when I noticed it. I think their downside is their lack of attention to detail on customer's request. It wasn't busy. There was only one more order placed after my order. The pizzas were good. The pizza was good, but not great. The steak was okay. The burger was okay (not $17 good at all), but smothered in so much sauce that it quickly became a soggy mess. I'd recommend the pizza over everything else. I mean, it is primarily a pizza place, so it makes sense to order what they specialize in. My wife tends to go to sleep early, so eating here has been my only source of dinner as we're staying at the hotel. We went Thanksgiving and, despite being completely empty, found our server to be completely neglectful and just bad at her job. I can't remember her name, but she was a blonde, middle aged woman. She never checked on us, not once, throughout the entire meal. After waiting a long time, I finally asked another random waiter for salt, twice (because he forgot the first time) and got some amount of service. The next night, I ordered carryout and ate in the room, which is an unpleasant experience, just to avoid the same waitress and she was in fact working again. Just now, we even turned down the complimentary wine service provided by the hotel because we just did not want to deal with this staff another time. Tonight, we will be ordering delivery. read more

Absolutely horrible. I can't tell you how the food is, because after 75+ minutes, half our table's pizzas hadn't shown up yet. Pretty sure they weren't even being made yet. Best part was - the manager telling us - when after an hour we asked about our food - that it's because we asked for separate checks. Garbage. I worked two summers at a pizza place in Cape Cod - where we actually get busy - and this 'individual check' excuse is total BS. Whatever happened to 'I'm very sorry your pizza isn't ready after almost an hour of waiting with NO updates as to why the delay'. Strongly recommend not ever eating there, on principle. Which is too bad because the pizzas looked pretty decent. I also strongly recommend remedial customer service training for the manager. UPDATE: The restaurant did deliver over the rest of our food a short while after we'd left, and made the offer of free cocktails upon a next visit, so to their credit they did try to make amends well after the fact. I used to love Beebe's. I've been a regular customer since it opened, I've taken friends and family there for brunches and dinners. Post pandemic the service has been mind numbingly slow. We go for brunch and wait and wait. The same thing with ordering delivery ... one night I waited almost two hours for a pizza, I just ended up driving myself there and getting it. But today was the last straw for me. I was really craving an eggs benedict, we placed our orders, everything came - except for the eggs Benedict (and a side order of avocado) ... I waited and waited and nothing ... finally my brother asked about it and the server just gave us a quizzical look and went inside ... we also asked for ketchup and maple syrup that never came. There was a table next to us who asked for ketchup after we did and got it pretty much right away. Now, to their credit, they were very apologetic and asked if I still wanted it? I mean I did, but sadly I didn't have the time, I had to leave. They took those items off the final bill, but in the end, I basically didn't get my brunch which is what I went there for in the first. Sadly, I'll be going to Levanté or Luzzo's from now on and try my luck there. I'll miss your food Beebe's, but I won't miss your lackluster service. read more

Finally some great Long Island City pizza opens north of the bridge! Definitely some of the best pizza I've had in LIC and In the upper echelon of NYC pizza for sure. The wine list is certainly quality over quantity but, hey, it's quality. The service was great and nice, can't complain at all. Came here about two months ago right when they first opened (and before they had a Yelp page!), and had the best meal there! It's conveniently located a few blocks away from the train in an area of LIC that's still being built up. As everyone, and the business itself, mentions, it's located inside the hotel so you have to walk past the lobby. When I went there were no signs or anything, but it was pretty intuitive. It was a Friday evening, but again, recently opened and so not busy at all (there were only maybe 2-3 other tables max during the ~2 hours we were there. We ordered the shishito peppers, fried calamari, and the hot italian pizza. Everything was absolutely delicious and fresh, the brick oven is at the back of the restaurant and is honestly an amazing back drop ;) We also ordered the Nutella bread pudding and it was absolutely incredible, such a huge portion that we couldn't finish but seriously one of the best desserts I've had in awhile, and I don't even really like sweets like that! The service was excellent, our waitress was attentive, but not overbearing; it was perfect. The space itself is also beautiful, simple, and clean. The high ceilings provide a great ambiance, and the outodoor space looked great (although not open at the time). A bit of a bummer that you can't have a meal out there though, based on some of the reviews of people who have recently visited. Highly recommend! I placed an order for takeout and was told my order would take 15 minutes. I waited over 45 minutes before requesting an update, only to be told that my order was just being put into the oven and would not be ready for a while. I was told that they were backed up due to sit in orders (there were only 2 small tables of patrons, one of which arrived after my order was placed). They should have given a more accurate time estimate at the time of ordering and I would have told them not to place the order. I ended up requesting a refund. read more

Just had dinner here with 7 kids and 4 adults. Plenty of room. Really nice digs. Pizza is excellent. Very thin and slightly crispy crust. I'm not a fan of soupy pies and this isn't that. Also, the pies are on the pricey side for the neighborhood but they're actually quite big so it makes sense. Had the Caesar and mixed greens - also very good. Good beers on tap. Great service. Really good dinner. We had the chicken Milanese and salsa verde steak. Both were great and cooked to perfection. I am super picky about meat texture too! and the staff was super friendly and attentive. We were staying in the hotel and was able to eat and go to the rooftop bar and never leave the hotel. I'm planning on going to a gallery opening Oct. 6th in LIC & will start the evening at Beebe's. Can't rave about it enough. It's a, so far, undiscovered gem. This summer, my friend & I went there to see the Macy's fireworks from the rooftop deck & had a bite to eat at the outdoor cafe on the first level. We shared a mixed salad with chickpeas, carrots with spiced yogurt & rooftop pizza with ricotta & arugula...all Amazing...as was our server, Francoise, who was welcoming, fussed over us & was such a pro. Nice room, service was good. The negroni on tap (on tap?) was too sweet for my taste. We ordered assorted appetizers and salads - all good. The orecchiette was tasty although the pasta was a bit lifeless. Also thought it funny that our server (incorrectly) corrected my pronunciation of "orecchiette." I was very excited about some good pizza in the neighborhood and they have a beautiful wood oven. We ate on the early side and perhaps the oven wasn't up to temp, but it was really lackluster. Beautifully designed restaurant with a chill cool ambiance in LIC. I think it's connected to a hotel too. The food is delicious and I definitely recommend the Vodka Pizza and the Rooftop Pizza. Also the drinks are tasty! They even have Negroni on tap. The only downside I had was the service. I've been here twice and both times the waiters were a little stiff and not really friendly. Other than that, the restaurant is a nice little date spot. They open the outdoor area in the summertime too. read more

Found this place when my bfs parents were staying in the hotel and the food is incredibly good. We live in the neighborhood and have been back since they left. Really good Italian style thin crust pizza and I love their calamari as well. There is a really nice outdoor area which will be lovely as summer hits. Service was also wonderful attentive but not intrusive and gave us really good suggestions. If this was in manhattan the restaurant would be jam packed every night! read more

Stayed at the Boro and decided on dinner at Beebe's after a very tiring day of sightseeing. Wow! So good. I had the rosemary french fries and a baby greens salad. These were the very best french fries that I've ever had. Everything on my salad was fresh-no wilted or turning leaves. The dressing was just so perfect. My husband had the spaghetti pomodoro and he loved the sauce although he did wish that he'd ordered a few meatballs to go with it. For dessert we split a nutella calzone-OH MY you must try! It was so good. This is a great spot and the hotel is reasonably priced and pretty clean. You cannot go wrong. read more

pretty upset at this place. I've been to the restaurant and enjoyed it, however the delivery is terrible! Ordered the hot italian pizza and the fries. Fries comes with absolutely no sauce anymore and not only that but everything was entirely cold and soggy!! I called the restaurant because I was upset that the quality between the delivery and dining in was so drastic. First person who answered the phone said the food was "sitting for awhile" before the delivery guy picked it up. The food wasn't kept warm at all while it was waiting for the delivery guy. Spoke to the manager after who seemed displeased at my complaint. I said this is strange because I order food all the time and it doesn't come in such bad state, for example Dominoes doesn't have cold pizza delivery. The manager's response was that if I want to order delivery, then I should expect cold food and this sort of quality. I told him I was shocked at his unprofessional response. He continued to say if I wanted hot pizza, then I should just go and order Dominoes. Completely rude and uncalled for. Can not recommend delivery at all, especially with a manager who believes this poor delivery is standard for delivery orders. read more
