The restaurant is small and they have a place for praying clean restaurant and easy to locate. We had ordered the following: Jalapeño poppers: I am not a fan of this dish but it was really good. It is my first time to eat it and i like it. I didn't liked the first bite but then when I forced myself, it was made very well and not too spicy. Beef short rib: My brother ordered this dish and he liked it too. He ordered it well done too. One of best dishes. Rib-eye steak 12-oz: I had ordered it well done and i had steak sauce and baroque sauce on side. To be honest, one of the best meals I had. The steak was excellent, you will fee every piece of it just make sure it doesn't get cold. Mixing it with tHe sauces was best thing I did. The Portuguese chicken was an absolute hit as it took me to the days of eating Nandos chicken (For those who are not aware ... Google). It came with side of crispy fries & creamy slaw which went really well with the chicken. The biriyani was not something i would rave about but i guess the fact the chicken was soo good blinded my opinion of the biriyani. If you love Indian food, this is the place. I found the reviews on yelp and decided to come on over since I work close by when I am in the office. WOW. I ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala and it was AMAZING. I asked for naan to go with it and dunk into the sauce, and it came to my table, warm and delicious. Unfortunately, the sauce was SO SPICY that it was hard to eat at times. I ordered it medium and would definitely get it mild next time. I was gulping down water since it was painfully spicy for me. My only issue was that the service was really poor. I sat outside with a friend and the server barely came out, which was a problem considering my issue of needing to gulp down water with the food. Make no mistake the food is delicious! The service on the other hand, was lackluster. I called in a to-go order and was told it would be ready in 20 minutes. I arrive and was told it would be a few more minutes. At this point there was only one guest there, at 7:30pm, kind of odd but, I figured hey, maybe I'll get my food faster. Wrong. I waited almost another 15 minutes, then was given my food, and I walked out the door... then I checked and noticed there was no silverware or napkins. So I had to walk back in and get these. Pretty annoying for a few reasons, 1. Not only did you misrepresent the time, 2. I gave a tip and you still couldn't manage to add silverware and napkins? 3. Tried this place only because it was on the burger week list. It sounded very promising, they had a chicken tikka sandwich, who wouldn't want to try that ? The chicken was very dry and had no tikka flavor. I also got a mango lassi, it needed to be colder and tasted like it has been sitting out for quite some time, it wasn't fresh. The menu looked interesting, I like the concept but I don't think I'll be trying it again it wasn't for me. They get five stars for their amazing butter chicken. Really, this is the best butter chicken I've had. It's not as creamy as the ones you've probably encountered, but this is a positive thing because the spices come through less muted. Found this restaurant on Yelp and luckily for us, it was close to the highway. We had a sumptuous meal of mutton kadhai(super delicious), chicken kadhai(okayish), shrimp curry(good) with rice and garlic naan. The food was very good and so was our experience. Saw the good reviews and thought I should try it as well. So i went there and ordered chicken vindaloo(extra spicy) and naan. The price of the chicken is $9.99 from what i remember, and it comes with white rice. I asked the lady if i could get naan instead of rice but unfortunately she said no. (What a disappointment) Anyways i still ordered it but with the side of naan which is additional $1. Came home and saw that there was not much chicken and for extra spicy they just added chopped green chili (wtf! What happened to indian spices?) Oh and the portion is so small for 9.99. The good side is the naan was tasty and fresh. I give them 2 stars because for $11, i could get same chicken with 2 side of naans and 1 veggie samosa. Yes thats right! There's another indian restos close by (im not gonna say the name) that are good but cheaper. I hope the owner sees this review. I am still going back tho to try some of the other foods. We were given a menu labeled "Dinner Menu" at 1:45 PM. We asked if that was a mistake and it wasn't... Both the Inferno Burger and Chapli Kabob Burger tasted the same....the only difference was that the Inferno Burger was topped with a hot fire sauce and jalapeños. Our Chapli Kabob was sort of overcooked and burned on the ends. I ordered fries as my side and there weren't nearly enough fries, and I'm serious about my fries! This is a great casual, halal restaurant in Orlando. They have Indian food options as well as a Portuguese grilled food menu. However, it was not as yummy as I had hoped for or gotten at some other Indian/Pakistani places in Orlando. I can't say positively, but I believe the food is Halaal (Kosher). Good reasonable place worth a try. We tried Chicken Korma, Chicken Palak and Chicken Karahi, plus Naan. The dishes come with white rice. Flew into Orlando this weekend for a quick visit, and desperately needed dinner at ~10pm after flying in from California. On the way to the hotel, my wife was searching yelp for something that was still open, on the way to the hotel, and had a chance to satisfy our current no-carbs diet. Chacoal Zyka seemed like it might fit the bill. First impression as we pulled into the lot - their sign says "Indian & American" food. Uh oh. My history of ethnic places that don't focus is not good at all. Then we see that on their windows, they advertise foods such as rib-eye steak, gyros, and jerk chicken. WTF? If it hadn't been late and we didn't feel stuck, I'd probably have driven away right then. So we braved it. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of food here. The stews were rich and flavorful. The tandoori chicken was juicy and had a nice little kick. My kids enjoyed the onion naan. The main issue we had with the food was that it was significantly oily. Not that this is unauthentic, but pools of oil floating on top isn't ideal. Service was good, although the kitchen was a little slow. Overall, this was a good meal at a very fair price. This place is about 1 mile from my new place in Orlando and saw a coupon to use and tried it out with my 3 kids (13, 12 and 8 yo) - didn't get any kids meals but everyone cleaned thier plate (except me as I took some chicken home. My two boys LOVED the brisket sandwich and cole slaw and scarfed it down quickly as both are now approching 6' tall. My daughter had the 1/4 BBQ chicken which was also good as she ate that and FF's and she is quite the picky eater normally. I opted for the "Joes Fried Chicken" which the waitress said is spicy, and well as I put hot sauce on everything it sounded good to me. I could not place the seasoning as I seemed almost like "jerk" or some type of spices but the heat and flavor were on spot. Seemed like it was grilled chicken the coated rge fried quickly but it was very good and I will be back for the same meal again, and probably very soon. The decor is really nothing a few booths and tables, a 42" HDTV and the kitchen i quite open so you can see them cooking and prepping the food even from the furthest table. Floors could use a paint job but it is really more a a quick place to pick up some good food. Waitress was very attentive and food service was timely so no issues there, prices are a little steep for chicken and brisket (mentioned in the previous reviews) but overall I was quite impressed. Delicious food at an excellent value for budget travelers. Based on other reviews, we ordered the samosas ($2.50), and they did not disappoint! Also ordered were the chicken korma (my favorite, $9.99) and chicken curry (they were out of beef options the day of our visit, also $9.99). The korma lived up to my expectations (though less sweet than some other restaurants) and was served with rice. The naan we ordered was also divine. I would have liked to order a special naan (garlic, potato, etc.) but my grandmother wanted the original. The mango lassi was on the sweeter side, but scrumptious as well.
