Had a leak in the underground water line going to the house. Doc and crew came out and were able to find and fix the leak in under 2 hours. They gave a clear estimate for the work they were going to do for digging and finding then fixing the pipe. Got lucky and the pipe wasn't under the driveway slab so they were able to get to it and fix it. From calling to get an appointment to them leaving after fixing the pipe was under 3 hours. Am really happy with the cost, and everyone I've talked to about it has remarked about how low the cost was for the work that was done. read more

I guess I'll start with the good points..they were able to come out immediately, always good in an emergency. They were pleasant, explained what they needed to do very clearly. I did question a few things however. First they quoted an $800.+ price to replace a water valve the connects to the washing machine and that it would take 2 hours. Then offered to knock $200. off that price. They ended up using the same valve just fixing it and it took from noon-12:30, not 2 hours. My husband asked if a half hour cost the same as 2hrs and they asked if we had a coupon..I said no. They kindly took another $100. off the price. So all in all, I'm glad it's done and I can now have the new washing machine installed but I did pay approx. $575. for no parts and half an hours work. My experience, you decide. read more

This is the second time using Bee's. This time it was after I tried to replace a busted wax ring on the toilet in the basement. Once I got into it I also noticed a clog in the tub. Meanwhile the whole family noticed a bad smell coming from the basement. Because of that i also had a duct Cleaning service scheduled due to thinking that was where the smell was coming from. I called Bee's after realizing the clog wasn't a toilet issue because it was also happening in the adjacent bathtub. Sean and his apprentice Jason were dispatched. First what a great touch a picture and a small blurb of Sean before arriving was a nice touch from Bee's. Sean and Jason checked out the clog, took a look at a few other things as well. After some trouble shooting we figured out the GFI where our sump pump tripped and that's what caused the back up. Anyway they not only fixed this, they replaced two toilets with better units and than we figured the smell wasn't the ducts but the backed up sewage. They cleaned and deodorized the area. I didn't need the ducts inspected for a dead animal after all, which saved me $1,000! Sean and Jason were great! They educated me on a few house old items and were honestly overall great people!!! I couldn't have had a better experience. A household of 6 without hot water is an absolute nightmare. And here in less than 12 hours from an after hours call, the crisis is reversed. I noticed that my main cold-water inlet valve on my hot water heater was frozen and could not be turned off. This is an essential valve as if (okay, when) the HWH leaks, you need to be able to turn off the water at the tank instead of at the street. I had a previous encounter with Bee's and Joe asked to let him make it right as I had posted a 1-star review. I am unable to change that review... The process of getting the appointment, the reminders beforehand and the day of went smoothly. The crew showed up on time and went right to work. They did not park in my driveway, which I really appreciate. They were careful and aware that I could not clear out the shelving unit that partially blocked access. After careful planning, they were able to get the old valve removed and the new one in place and tested in about 90 minutes. They had all the requisite parts and tools on hand--an added plus. The job was highly professional and I'm well pleased. I will think of them when I need further plumbing needs. read more

My 8-year-old Bosch tankless water heater sprung a leak, and we chose Bee's Plumbing based on the reviews here. They were very responsive, sending Blake and Callista out the very next day. I really appreciated the courtesy call 30 minutes prior, giving me a heads-up on their arrival window and a description of who to expect. Blake and Callista quickly and thoroughly diagnosed the problem, clearly explaining all my options and the pros and cons of each. They weren't pushy at all, which I appreciated. We opted for a replacement given some red flags of the current unit, low parts availability, and the discontinuation of the model. We chose the top recommendation (Navien) which gave us a recirculation upgrade to our existing system. The installation was meticulous and clean, with minimal drywall cutting and a thorough cleanup afterward. After the install, Blake patiently answered all my questions, explaining how the system works and encouraging us to test the hot water speed at our furthest faucets. Overall, a great experience! The "price book" at Bee's stung me! My house in Kirkland had two leaking faucets (bathroom and kitchen) in need of repair. My 73 year old mother lives there, so she was able to deal with the plumber while I was working. Rather than fixing the leaks, Bee's recommended replacing the two faucets "to avoid further repairs." I was shocked at the price for the replacement - $2,209 (before tax). The faucets are quite basic, so this amount really didn't make sense to me. When I asked the plumber to break out the cost of the faucets vs. the labor, he said he didn't have that information. What he told me is that their prices are fixed fees based on their "price book." Not satisfied with that answer, I asked to speak with someone in their office. I got the same response - the prices are set in the "price book." I explained that I really didn't see the value in the amount they were charging, and simply wanted to understand what I was paying for. They finally acknowledged that the bathroom faucet was $100 and the kitchen faucet was $118. That leaves over $1,800 for labor! I told them $1,800 to install two faucets is an astronomical price. And they really couldn't explain it...other than continually referring to the mystical "price book." Would never use them again. Update: I had a very professional conversation with the Service Manager. We agreed on a total price of $818 (before tax). In full disclosure, they asked me what I viewed as a fair price, and I proposed $818. My math behind that was (i) $218 for the faucets and (ii) $600 labor for installation ($300 per faucet, which was the upper end of a fair price based on my research). As the conversation turned to my Yelp rating, they offered additional discounts and complimentary future services, which I declined. Candidly, I wasn't interested in negotiating the lowest possible price, as this was about more than money to me. I'm ultimately satisfied with the work and the price. However, I have not changed my 1 Star rating, because I can't endorse having to get on three phone calls to get to a reasonable outcome. read more

I've used Bee's on 3 occasions so far, and they've performed well in all of them. The most recent one I called for service was to check out a leak in the crawlspace that may or may not have been caused by some of Bee's previous work. Tate came out, diagnosed the issue (it was a new one) and very swiftly fixed it. It look a little bit to find the source of the leak, but once it was found, the fix was quick and straightforward. Even charged only the bare minimum (dispatch fee) because it was so quick. Every time they came out for me, they always carefully laid out the work required and the cost, and if something unexpected came up preventing some work, they would credit that work accordingly. I had a pin hole leak in the copper pipe underneath my kitchen sink, in a really tight area, also I had both hose bib in my front yard and backyard leaking. I called Bee's plumbing and they sent Christian and Ivan out to my house, they both showed up on time within the frame. Christian and Ivan were super nice, very knowledgeable and truly a professional at what they do. They replaced both my hose bibs and fixed my leak underneath my kitchen sink. They were both very efficient, and they both worked well together and communicated with each other very well. After the job was done they cleaned up, and Christian inspected the plumbing in both my bathrooms and checked for leaks in the crawlspace as a courtesy. It didn't begin well. The polite representative that reached out in response to my Yelp quote request for a new water heater was unable to provide even a ball-park estimate. My only option was to meet with a tech (subject to a $99 refundable dispatch fee). Competitors were willing to provide estimates over the phone, and request pictures and other info online to avoid a time-consuming and chargeable visit. But customer relations manager Jonah followed up and persuaded me to move forward, and I am so grateful! Licensed plumbing technician Daniel showed up promptly the same morning, provided three competitively-priced options that could meet our very non-standard needs, and was able to complete the installation the same day. Despite having to remove part of a doorway and a heavy front-loading washer to get the old unit out, he and his colleague left the space clean, and upgraded the washer connections free of charge. They even replaced my clutter in the access hallway. I am 100% satisfied with the work and our shiny new Bradford White water heater, and I can sincerely recommend Bee's Plumbing and Heating to my friends and family. I'm updating the review to reflect this willingness to accept that the initial quote was pretty unreasonable. Overall, I don't have any issues with the plumbers who came to the house, more with the general approach to business! My two cents: if a job is so straightforward that it takes 15 minutes, a little bit of know how, and tools already in the truck, charge fairly and just do the work at a reasonable price. It's that honesty and willingness to be fair and helpful that would make me consider Bees when bigger jobs arise. Original review: Disappointed. We had Bees come out to look at a super simple adjustment related to updating an old hose bib before a new deck install made it less accessible. They offered 3 options, ranging from $600 to $3000 (!!). In the interaction, it was pretty clear the goal was to collect the $99 appearance fee and leave, or leverage it as a way to blatantly overcharge on the task, which was super simple (to the point that we probably could have wrapped the job up in the time they spent giving a quote). The Bees representative suggested that I might somehow arrange for that review to, uh, be removed. I don't arrange for the removal of reviews that I didn't write It was clear from the review that Bees had done substandard work at my place in early December of 2024, and Bees offered to replace that work with professional-grade work. I agreed. So, nearly eight weeks after the initial work was done, two very professional persons arrived at my place today and replaced the initial substandard work. Our water heater spontaneously burst last night, spewing cold water all over our basement. A little googling helped with shutting off cold water and gas to the heater, but I was pretty worried about getting the thing fixed. We called Bee Plumbing the following morning and they were a) kind and b) immediately helpful. They sent Luke H. to us, and he was here in literally 15 minutes after the call. Like, actually, literally 15 minutes. Luke H was great - friendly, kind, quick diagnosis of what was wrong, and didn't do a hard sell on anything. Gave me time to go research that I did not, in fact, want to add on an expansion tank, and he had both a gas water heater and an electric water heater in his truck ready to go. Swapped our gas water heater out, installed the new one , now turned 90 degrees to make flushing it yearly a lot easier, and schooled me on how to do that yearly flush. We've been going with Bee plumbing whenever anything goes wrong for several years now, but we were really knocked out with how well this went. At first I thought them good when they replaced most of my water intake valves. The price was high but I had to have it done. But then a problem occurred at the end of the service call because a part in the toilet tank broke and it leaked. The communication became very bad and I finally got a price to fix the tank that was out of line. I am still without my master toilet, bought a new toilet and have it installed by someone else. My advise is to only use plumbers with an hourly rate, else you might think that attorneys are cheap. read more

The 5-star rating is mostly about the technicians and the job done. Trent and Bryson showed up the first thing in the morning of the scheduled day. I had planned on getting my kitchen waste disposal and a toilet replaced. When they checked my kitchen sink, they found my faucet hard to pivot (which has been annoying me for years) and said they could include it in the quote. The quote for installing the disposal (I already got one from Lowes), a new faucet and installation, and a new ToTo toilet and installation was about $2,200 plus tax. It was more than what I was prepared for, so I told them to just replace the disposal. They were fine with this and didn't push further, which I appreciated. As they were preparing the job, I did more research. Although I could save several hundred dollars if I purchase the items with installation from Lowes, I had a very bad experience trying to schedule the disposal installation through them which wasted me a lot of time, so I eventually decided to ask them to do all three while they were here. Trenton and Bryson were efficient and got everything done in the morning. They did a nice job and cleaned up everything well. They were professional and courteous. It was pleasant interacting with them. The rest of this review is about the company. Scheduling with them was pretty easy. They had availability right away, although this was also the case with the other two companies I called. All three companies charged dispatch fee which can be waived if you decide to work with them. Bee's Plumbing was the highest one at $99, and I had to say that they didn't mention this until I asked (they were the 3rd company I called, so I learned). I called these companies when I was out of town. When they told me they could send someone on the same day or the next day and the dispatch fee, I told them I would call them after I got back in town. The other two companies were fine with this, but Bee's Plumbing told me they were having a promotion and they could give me $59 off, and they could schedule in advance. So I scheduled a day with them. The most inconvenient thing with Bee's Plumbing is that their schedule window is a whole day from 8 am to 5 pm, and they texted me at 7 am on the scheduled day to let me know someone will arrive between 8:30 and 9:30. I have a regular job and that scheduled day was probably the only day out of an entire month that I could have a whole day open. This may make working with them again in the future difficult. read more

Where to even start.. these guys are the BEST! Seriously, 10/10 in every aspect. We had an insanely out-of-date drain pipe with a nasty plastic filter element (and LOADS of duct tape from the last owners) attached to the wall, and had no idea how to attach our new washer and dryer to it. These guys got here in an hour or two, installed a spectacular new drain pipe AND helped us to finish installing the washer and dryer set! They were extremely knowledgeable, moved quickly, cleaned up everything, and took great care in leaving the place looking good. Doc came out to replaced faucets that were corroded. The faucets were pretty stuck and he did a great job doing the replacement and I could tell it was hard work. This followed a prior experience with another one of their plumbers who charged me over $300 to tighten a bolt under the sink because I complained the faucets were loose and not easy to turn. The tightening of the bolt fixed the looseness, but the faucets still didn't work correctly. When I asked him about this, he said "you just said you were concerned about the loose faucets; those faucets are corroding and need replacement". I wish he had told me that from the start because tightening the bolts for $300 didn't fix the problem. Also the faucet was over 10 years old (he said this was very old for a faucet) and parts no longer available. I managed to find new cartridges and cross handles for the Grohe Seabury faucets and contacted Bee's plumbing about my concern with the first plumber not fixing the job. The manager was great, very responsive and arranged for another plumber to come out to do the job I really wanted done. So yesterday Doc came out and he gets 5 stars for his confidence, relaxed management of the problem and professionalism. I haven't yet heard back from the manager (as promised) about adjusting the price of the work as the first $300 charge was for work that was unnecessary given that the faucets really needed replacement, so 2 stars for that. read more

Christian and Ivan were great! They were our plumbers after a hose on the roof started leaking. After we described the problem and they took a look they immediately figured out the issue-the pipe behind the hose bib froze over in winter, causing it to expand and crack. We were given multiple quotes, one to have everything fixed to the way it was and another slightly more expensive option to add a shutoff by the ceiling so we can drain the water on the roof in the winter. We went with the second option and it was still a few hundred dollars cheaper than a quote from a different company for the same work without a shutoff. These folks worked fast, explained everything they were doing and answered all of our questions, and were friendly. We tested hose afterwards and the leak was gone. They also showed us how to shut off the main water valve (yes, we should already know how to do this... now we do :) ) and gave us some advice on other failure points in the system to look for.
