We saw an issue with our drywall yesterday. We cut into it today and found a copper pipe leaking. Called Bee's and they had service to us within an hour...on a Sunday. On two occassions at two different homes Bee's helped us fix our plumbling problems quickly. At our previous residence, Bee's replaced our tankless water heater. They were able to inspect, quote, and install immediately. It was super efficient, they did a great job, and the cost was fair. At our current residence, we had blockage in our dishwasher hose leading to the sink, forcing water up through the air gap. We called them and they were able to send Julio out in a couple of days. Julio cleared the blockage quickly and tested the dishwasher a few times to make sure everything was functioning correctly. We have been impressed with Bee's so far and will definately be reaching out to them for our future plumbing needs. read more

A huge shoutout to PJ for coming out and fixing our water heater. We have been out of hot water for 3 going on 4 days. We had asked 6 different plumbing companies to diagnose and fix our water heater only to be told that we should completely replace the water heater or change it to a tankless system. The plumbers would look a the water heater, not even get their hands dirty, and told they weren't able to fix the problem. That was super discouraging. PJ came out on Sunday morning and was extremely resourceful and was able to get our water heater running in less than an hour. He took time to do his due diligence by looking at the water heater in detail and now we have hot water! PJ and his teammate were resourceful, looked at the manual for added assurance and were professional throughout the whole process. I wrote a bad review of this business based on a service call I had with one of their techs. I felt that I did not receive good service and that the prices quoted were unreasonable. The day I posted my review, their manager got in touch and has been working with me to make it right. He listened to my concerns, offered to make amends, and to do whatever was needed to make it right. I am completely impressed with their response to my feedback. Most impressive is the lack of defensiveness and the willingness to take responsibility for their employee's mistakes. This is rare in the world, much less in the business world. No one is perfect and we all make mistakes. None of us has the power to undo the past, but being willing to do what we can to make it right for the person harmed is within our power and can make a huge difference. We called Bee's because our garbage disposal stopped working, and after trying several things decide we needed some professional help. Jake and his apprentice showed up and were able to install a new one in less than 2 hours! The process was super easy. They gave me several options for replacement and were very respectful of my home. That's not always the case with this kind of service so was much appreciated. They even cleaned up under the sink so I didn't have to. Would definitely use Bee's again. read more

I need to say... In this day and age it is extremely rare that any company follows up as much as Bee's has. Not only did the call center person call me but the owner did to make sure that I was taken care of. Whatever the cause and result....(took me almost a month to get back to them)... to me that shows professionalism and commitment to your reputation and goodwill. I would keep this company in your short list just for that. Maybe the lesson learned is get written or recorded quotes for whatever services could be needed to fully understand between anyone on the phone and the person who eventually shows up to do the work. Kudo's to the owner of Bee's plumbing.. The fact that they took the time to call me a few times and follow up to figure things out.. That's the best service company response since this darn bug shut everyone down. These days the response is normally,, "Don't like it, find someone else or even good luck...". Bee's cared to follow up.... Apparently the variation on rates can be extreme between companies, so just need to be absolutely clear what you get for your $$. read more

I initially contacted the company last week to come out and do an estimate for an adjustment to my HVAC system layout - they said they didn't normally do this type of work one-off but would send someone out to do an estimate and see what was feasible. Before getting off the phone they wanted to charge to even come out - which I promptly said no thanks, I'll resource elsewhere. Whomever I talked to said they would waive the fee but if an emergency came up they have to reschedule. Within 30 minutes they called to say an emergency came up scheduled for the same day as my apt. It's the season - fine, I get it. So then I reschedule for Monday (today) at 9am - and they call 15 minutes before the apt to say the person they were sending is out sick and won't be available for another week. Apparently they only have 1 person to do estimates? Completely would not recommend based on their accountability of keeping an appointment alone - extremely unprofessional. On top of several other reviews highlighting they are over priced - happy I didn't waste any money or any more time entertaining a company that can't even respect prospective customers. read more

We had a very good experience with Bee's Plumbing. Dmitri and his plumbing assistant were prompt, tidy and efficient. Dmitri explained a couple of different options to address my leaking problem. One solution was to fix my leak. The other more extensive solution would fix my problem long term. I originally chose the least expensive and time efficient route. Once Dmitri dug into my issues he brought me back into the discussion to point out a few things about old galvanized plumbing. He showed me a length of pipe that needed replacement that was more than 75% clogged with rust after 60 something years. He explained this was very common on homes that used this type of drain pipes 60 years ago. He insisted he could address my original problem but it was only a short term fix that will present itself somewhere else another day. In short, my problem wasn't going to go away forever. I quickly convinced myself that Dmitri's recommended repair that was thousands of dollars, not hundreds, was going to be my best overall solution. Thank you Dmitri and crew and Bee's Plumbing for a timely and thorough repair. I couldn't be more satisfied with our experience. I spent more than I expected but definitely got my moneys worth. Good plumbers aren't cheap but cheap plumbers aren't good, so there's that. read more

They refunded the $100 and they've been hounding me to update my review. Here's the update. Charging a $100 for an estimate was okay when I assumed that they would provide a reasonable quote. But charging $100 to provide an outrageous quote (2X as much as two other companies) was not okay. Yes, they care about their reputation, but they didn't care about fair business practices. And then I got non-stop calls (one a day, at least) asking to "make things right", citing their dependence on reviews to grow their small business. Speed of service and the two plumbers who showed up were awesomie. Great customer service. However, it's very deceiving to call a Plumbing combining to help you unclog a shower, just got the same problem to resurface LESS THAN 24 HOURS LATER. I called bee's and let them know that the shower drain that they had just unclog LESS THAN 24 HOURS AGO is flooded again. I was told that "drain unclogging are not warranted" and redirected to my receipt to read the fine print. One of the faucet's installed in January had a leak when I hooked up the hose this weekend. I contacted Bee's and they scheduled someone to come out right away and they fixed it...it was something I could have fixed, it just needed tightening. We have a rental in the Seattle area that is tenant occupied, and we were notified that there was no hot water. I sent a request to Bee's Plumbing and Heating , and was answered promptly that they could help us. They contacted the tenant and set up an appointment to accommodate them. I procrastinated on getting my tankless water heater looked at for a while even though it was causing problems. Another company came and serviced it but it didn't help. Finally, it just wasn't heating the house anymore and I didn't know why I was punishing myself so I found Bee's. They scheduled an appointment quickly and Adam and Marcos were knowledgeable, friendly, and very skilled. I now have a working hot water heater! I can run the shower and the heat at the same time. Or, turn on both shower heads in the master bath without the unit shutting down. I haven't been able to do that in almost 3 years! I have used Bee's Plumbing 3 times now. From what I have seen, they identify something isn't up to code, fixate on that fact, and then give you a crazy expensive bid for a bunch of work to bring it up to code rather than offer any creative solutions to solve the problem. It would be great if my 60+ year old house was up to modern plumbing code, but it isn't (and never will be with the prices they estimate!). I love that the company is family owned, the apprenticeship model (they have an apprentice do the work under supervision), that their plumbers are licensed and background checked, and that the company is licensed, bonded, and insured. I also understand operating a business of that caliber costs money... but charging $450 to spend 15 minutes snaking a drain is kind of crazy, so I am undecided about whether I will use them again in the future. read more

My one complaint just revolves around price transparency...the fix of my machine took 20-30 minutes and we were charged $500 (after being charge a diagnostic charge on the initial visit)...this included no parts (since I was able to call myself and get the part from Rheem under warranty). **Update: We had a handyman come out to repair the drywall from moving the plumbing. The handyman asked who we used to do this work, I said, "Bee's Plumbing. Why? Is there an issue?" The handyman said, "No, I could kiss the plumber for doing such a great job on these drywall cuts." Thank you Garrett for not slaughtering the wall and making the drywall repair complicated. Me and the handyman were appreciative.** I'm very happy to have found Bee's Plumbing. We did a small bathroom remodel and I needed to move the sink drain to accommodate the new sink and vanity. I emailed yesterday for a service call and was called within 20 minutes of that request and was put on the schedule for the next day. Our problem was the original outside faucet, 1957, did not shut off completely and had been leaking slowly but continually. Bee's plumber, Daniel, arrived to assess the problem and within a few hours had accessed the outdoor faucet from under the kitchen sink, which saved having to cut through the siding. He accessed the piping under the house and replaced old pipe with frost-free plumbing and an outdoor faucet. He also installed a turn off valve for that faucet accessable under the kitchen sink. Daniel is a respectful, hardworking, reliable, bright young man and a master plumber who is an asset to his company. I am relieved and pleased to have this project completed by someone I trust. I can't say enough positive things about Bee's and Julio, who was a huge help to me in my master bathroom reno. This was my first time renovating a bathroom, and I didn't know what I didn't know, so I really needed someone to give me guidance and address things I hadn't thought of. Julio felt like a partner in the project, not just a skilled tradesman there to do the work. He did all of the rough-in and finish work impeccably, and gave me a wealth of advice along the way. I big factor in picking Julio's quote(I had a few by that point) was that he personally would be back to do the work. I can't stress how uncommon that is. Having the same person quote and do the work means fewer opportunities for miscommunications, as well as a complete and accurate estimate. Bee's estimate wasn't the lowest I received, but I would choose it again in a heartbeat! They will be my first call from now on. read more
