Big thanks to Adrian at Bell Honda. I went in for a test drive early in the week and told him I wasn't ready to buy anything and was in the early stages of shopping. He was super kind and easy going and didn't push me into anything at all. I test drove a CRV and loved it. Decided to go back that weekend to purchase, I went through Costco and Adrian was an assigned rep, so he was able to assist me with the sale. Again, super patient with me through my indecisiveness of color and model, and made the whole experience super easy. The only negative was the finance department. Although the gentleman helping me was very nice and personable, I felt very pressured to buy extras. At that point I was exhausted, as I had been in the dealership for over 4 hours, so I ended up agreeing to things I probably wouldn't have, had I had more energy. It's my fault, he was just doing his job, but there's definitely a wear-down tactic at work! This negative does not detract from the super positive experience I had with Adrian. I have done this before, walking in last minute, and they have always accommodated my every need! I'm just sorry that I bought my Honda at Camelback Honda because they don't accommodate anything! Ask for Troy Pierce!! I came in just looking to see what my options would be as I was in no need to rush... well maybe a little bit because I needed better AC for the summer. I told Troy Pierce from the get go I wasn't going to buy today and he respected my wishes and def didn't over push but also still took the time to show me my options knowing that I was firm on not buying, he still spent over 2-3 hours answering questions and letting me view. At the end of the day I did end up buying a 2018 Honda Civic, Troy fought hard to get down the lowest rate for me. Respected me calling my father to see if it was a good rate and me being hesitant and just overall being patient. I feel like over all being in a customer service industry myself you have to be able to read people and with age you also know if someone is pushing you, ripping you off, using you and I felt nothing but a genuine person. Dear Bell Honda, You are on Santa's NAUGHTY list! In 2018 you sold a honda crv to a couple from tucson.   The couple told you that since they planned to own the car for several(10 plus) years they did not need the 3 year zaktek paint protection plan. However, you included the price of the zaktek plan in their purchase even though they repeatedly said that they did not want to purchase it. You were able to do this because you gave the couple the impression that the 499 dollars for the zacktec was part of the MPP protecction plan that they purchased. Also note that the zaktek product should have never been sold to them since it is only available for use in phoenix and flagstaff in all of arizona. The couple had made it plenty clear that they were from tucson. In addition to this you told them another LIE. You said to them that as part of the purchase at bell honda you would provide a free car wash and DETAIL(DETAIL being the operative word here) per six months for three years. This service would only be provided at bell honda. The couple just found out, that this is not true and that you dont intend to  include a DETAIL in your courtesy car washes. This tucson couple had a terrible buying experience as well! They called you from tucson before driving over to confirm that the exact honda CRV they wanted to purchase was available at the price listed on your website. You informed them that they had the correct information and that they could drive over and purchase the car at the listed price plus taxes, title fees, and registration and doc fees. This couple drove all the way from tucson to phoenix to purchase the car and when they arrived you added on extra charges on the sales price which had nothing to do with taxes and doc fees. If I could honestly give them lower than one star, I would. I have had my car for 6 months from them and all my headaches are coming from them. 1. Being told I would have basic maintenance coverage for three years. Apparently only with them, because when I went to another dealership, that was a no go for an oil change. 2. Being told that there are zaktek machines in Tempe that I could go to when I need to reapply it. Well, I've been googling and I can't find one. Also have come to see that apparently that it's not that good anyway, but I'm paying for it anyway. Thanks service department for telling me to just google it because that couldn't possibly be a frequently asked question. 3. Being told that I could get my apr lowered if I stopped in to discuss it with them since they were trying so hard to email me with information. Well, they said they put in my email wrong and yet I'm getting bell honda emails just fine. This amazing sale was only available last Friday on 3/16/18 and Saturday would have been too late! Today I got a message about wanting to stop in today (3/20/18), but I thought this special deal was already over? Shady and dishonest. So, I'm pretty sure I'm paying for two packages that I'll never get to use unless I take a trek over to Bell Honda to get it done, a place that is notoriously known for doing shoddy repair work if you read all the reviews here. At this point, the only way I would remotely consider raising my review with them is having me *not* pay for these packages that I can't seem to use, but since that cuts into their bottom line, I highly doubt that they will. So, did they have the car that I wanted? Yes. Am I paying for it? In more ways than one. The worst car dealer I have ever met, and unfortunately, twice. Last year I quoted a price from them from truecar.com. I went there to buy the car but they refused to honor the price they have offered. I ended up bought my Honda accord from another dealer with cheaper price. This year, again, they somehow got my phone from truecar.com and bombast-ed me with numerous phone calls and text messages. I didn't intent to buy from them as I learnt from last year's lesson. But the manager called me and promised an attractive price. When My wife and I went there, again, they first showed us a different model at lower level and try to persuade us to buy at high price. When I rejected, he showed us a EX-L and claimed it is a touring Odyssey. When I pointed this out to them and ask them to honor their price, again they couldn't retracted from the offer. I wrote to Bell Honda 5 days ago with the following review: "Our salesperson Rigo was really good, and we got a fair deal on the car. The problem was with the finance manager who tried to add WAY too many items which would have doubled the price of the lease. Finally, after negotiating the price, he quoted us $317 which I agreed to, but after re-calculating it came out to over $340 because he did not include "other added expenses." I told him that this did not make him look good, and he stated that it was an "honest mistake." He then quoted me $319 ($2 more than his original quote of $317), which I reluctantly agreed to, but only after he spoke to his supervisor to get it approved. You can review the recording if you want. This does not make Bell Honda look good, and therefore I cannot recommend your dealership. Also, if you don't make this right by some kind of compensation, I WILL leave this response on Google, Facebook, and Yelp." I've had a wonderful experience buying a new car. It is my second car buying experience here....ten years apart. They have gone above and beyond both times. Tracy S. was wonderful and very honest and straight forward. Thank you! Update on service: I had to take my older Honda Pilot in to get the passenger airbag replaced due to a recall. When I called the service department, Joshua H. answered and scheduled me for the next week. He was awesome! He told me that my 10 year old car was in great shape and the replacement was going to be done that day. One of my shocks was leaking, though, and he offered to replace at the same cost as my mechanic. We ultimately decided to wait as it wasn't too urgent, but he was very personable and helpful, and said he would still do the service at the same price later. Service is great. Until you've paid fir it and have gone on your way. I had a very expensive after market stereo system installed a few months ago. It wasn't working correctly and the outside contractor came to my house and fixed it. A few months later I'm still having problems, so I called the dealership. I drove down to the dealership, and was told someone from the contractor would call me and come to my house. Wasted trip number one. Next day I still hadn't heard, and called the dealership. They swore they would find out what's going on, and get back to me. Wasted phone call number two. That was almost two weeks ago. Apparently they aren't in the least but interested in standing by their work once they've collected the money. They have lost me as a customer for good. And I paid way too much money for a half-baked system that only partially works some of the time. read more

My husband and I bought a 2020 Honda Ridgeline on 2/14/2021. We love the truck, and our salesman Clif was very nice. Everyone was very accommodating and it was a smooth purchase. The Service department was very accommodating, as well. Q was our service guy and he was great. My new truck was detailed and we had new keys made for our 2007 Ridgeline. My only issue was trying to figure out the computer system. Seems that no one really knew how to help with that, and come to find out there is no SXM that comes with a $44,000 truck. This should be standard in every vehicle. Why Honda does not have this is very disappointing. So, the only way to hear SXM is through my phone, which means if I do not have WiFi access I have no SXM. if I'm traveling any distance WiFi is not always available. So, that is my only complaint. read more

Have come in for an oil change three time in a row and each time they try and talk me into service that isn't necessary at that time. When I decline they then default to rewording an oil change to a certain mile service that really only includes looking everything over and washing it but costs an extra $59 to $89 in addition to the oil change. Give me and my wallet a freaking break! Just change my damn oil and be done with it!!!! Piss off with your hard sell to unnecessary service. I bought my first used car from Bell Honda in April. I had previously purchased 3 new Honda Accords from dealerships in San Diego. When I inquired online about potential vehicles, I was contacted immediately, same day, by Angel, who I ended up buying a used 2013 Honda CRV EX from. Angel was great when I was at the dealership and interested in buying a car. That's why I gave 2 stars. Even though we had an appointment, I ended up waiting for Angel for over half and hour because he was still with other customers. We looked at all their used SUV's within my price range, and even drove around to check what may not have been in the lot. After talking a while we finally found the car that fit what I was looking for. In all my previous new car purchases I've always worked directly with the internet sales contacts and Angel said that he was internet sales. I told him from the beginning I wanted the internet price and after a long time spent back and forth on price, he gave me the advertised internet price which I didn't know til after I left and searched online. I didn't appreciate all the wasted time negotiating when I already asked for the internet price in the first place. When getting the paperwork completed I felt pretty rushed since it was end of day and didn't get much explanation on the added protective coating. Before leaving and inspecting my used car purchase, I found there was no owners manual or handbook and Angel assured me they would get one ordered and sent to me. It's almost been 6 months and I've emailed him several times, and still no manual. After a few emails he still assured me they would send it, and still nothing. I even tried emailing the main email for the dealership and copied a supervisor on emails, and still nothing. Who spends all that money and gets no manual or handbook, especially after being assured one would be provided. Working with other dealers in San Diego there was always follow up to see how my car was doing, and how I'm liking it.. With Bell Honda, no follow up whatsoever which I didn't expect considering it was a used car. Once they're done with the sale, it's like they don't care to deal with you unless you want to purchase. Now it's no surprise they have horrible reviews. I will definitely be bringing my business elsewhere in the future. What makes matters worse is I'm not sure exactly what was included in the additional protective coating and when I should be getting it re-coated. Total waste of money. This was my experience at Bell Honda at 701 W Bell Rd, Phoenix AZ on 02/08/2022. I brought my 2016 Honda Civic in for AC repairs as Honda issued a service bulletin extending the warranty to 10 years because of condenser problems. I have owned multiple Honda vehicles because of their reliability and I appreciate it when the manufacturer stands by their products. After the vehicle was inspected, I was told that it was not the condenser and it was actually the evaporator that was leaking. (The evaporator is not under warranty) They quoted me a price around $1350 over the phone and I agreed. When my wife picked up the vehicle, they charged her around $1450 plus tax, an extra hundred dollars. When she arrived home, I inspected the paperwork and to my surprise, it stated that the condenser was leaking from the seam, something I was never told as I would have had them cover it under the extended warranty per the Honda service bulletin. In addition, I kept the evaporator they removed from my vehicle and there was no leak at all in the evaporator. Honda corporation has been informed of this dealers fraudulant activities and I am awaiting their official response. read more

I'm giving 5 stars based on my most recent visit. I'm skeptical of giving 5 stars to car dealerships because it tends to be they get the 5 star and suddenly things start going down hill. My experience occurred on 9/18/19 and I'm a big believer in getting better customer service on a weekday than a weekend. This dealership's experience was better than a few others I have visited over the past couple of months. I called with an interest in their $100 Honda. I was transferred promptly to Tim. Tim was friendly and a good listener. He even offered a $25 gas card just for coming over for a test drive. We agreed on a time for me to visit. I arrived at the scheduled time and was greeted promptly by another salesman. Then Tim introduced himself and we test drove a 2019 Civic. He certainly knew the vehicle's features and as a result he displayed much confidence. While we were test driving the vehicle he had made arrangements to appraise my other leased vehicle (Jeep). Tim went the extra mile to contact the Jeep's financing department to get the payoff. (Chrysler's finance department makes it difficult). Unfortunately, although I had only a handful of payments left, I was upside in the vehicle's equity vs the payoff. I had a few other extenuating circumstances (transfer title/registration and high payments) with the Jeep. So I then had to sit down with Ryan. He's head of sales or financing. Either way, I spelled out specifically what obstacles I was against but I also shared my loyalty to Honda (I purchased a brand new Civic in 2003 and owned it for 13yrs). In the end, the dealership agreed to assume the remaining Jeep payments, handled all title/registration on the new Civic and lower my payment by $50/mo. Then I sat down with Ramses the finance manager. He's a very pleasant person and budget sense. He recommended I increase the monthly payment by $20.79/mo (apr only 2.1%) which allowed scheduled maintenance (oil changes, tire rotation etc) to be covered the first 36 months. I'm big into budgeting and this is a good deal especially for all work being performed at a dealership with reporting to Carfax and since it's prepaid the likelihood of me scheduling the service is greater. The following day, the general manager called and made sure my experience was great. read more

Had to leave another 1-star (would be negative 5 stars if I could do that) review on here for what another, much more reliable auto repair shop found today. I took my car to Hon Man in Tempe (I HIGHLY recommend them over Bell Honda or any Honda dealer service department, everyone!) for a full synthetic oil change. The actual mechanics there, unlike whomever is doing it at Bell Honda, found that an oversized oil plug (installed by the Bell Honda staff after they improperly put the oil pan back on TWICE) was doing more harm than good. They explained that not only was the oversized plug a bad idea, to say the least, but that the improper re-installation of the drip pan (again, TWICE) resulted in the pan needing re-threading to reinforce the damage done by Bell Honda. Luckily, Hon Man actually called to communicate all this to me, and did it for very, very reasonable rates, and not before I approved it. And oh, the back window that Bell Honda fixed is now broken again, too. I can't say it enough times - save yourself the hassle of dealing with Bell Honda's "repair" shop. I recommend you patronize Hon Man or another local business instead. read more

Here's a long review: My husband and I took two days to buy a car, the first to window shop only and we made sure to directly tell every sales rep from each of the 4 dealerships we saw that day that we were not buying and that we would make a decision and call back that day or the next when we picked a model. While two of the sales reps from other dealerships were professional (mazda and sanderson) and the third rep was an absolute nightmare (toyota), JJ from Bell Honda was beyond amazing. He treated us kindly from the very beginning even after my "this is our window shopping day" spiel. His customer service and family feel were both professional and caring. He asked pointed questions about what we wanted in a car, made suggestions that fit our lifestyle that we hadn't thought about and overall made a great impression. I would recommend him and Bell Honda highly. The only downside was that I was unable to give him full marks on a review as the survey was not clear about WHO it was about and I gave each department a review on our experience with it. I hope this become clearer as I would give him 100% mark on it had I known. read more

I was looking to trade in my Accord lease, for another. I had been working off and on with a competitive dealer, and not getting what I wanted, as in monthly payment/0 down/0 at sign on. The only way was to take an LX instead of EX. I contacted Bell Honda, and they gave me exactly what I wanted. When I told their competitor, he told me no way, that they are lying, only trying to get you in there, they lie all the time. So when Jeremy called from Bell, I went over 0 down/0 sign on etc. I was very hesitant going in there, preparing to walk out at any given time. Well shame on me, I got exactly what they said I would. I went in to test drive a vehicle I wanted to purchase with cash, however there were some repairs that needed to be done. I asked for repairs to be completed and then I would buy it and they said they wouldn't do repairs unless someone bought it first. They also added over $1k to the price of the vehicle for the repairs. They then tried to get me to sign paperwork but wouldn't explain what it was and refused to explain what the paperwork was for. They also did a credit check after they specifically said they wouldn't, even though I'm buying the car with CASH not financing. Then an employee tried to kick me out because I didn't tell him I actually did have the cash on me , and thought I didn't have the money on me and specifically told me he was acting that way (disrespectful) to me because "I didn't have the money". He wanted me to stand outside in weather that was over 100 degrees and refused to order me a Lyft even though they had told me they would. He was pissed I hadn't bought the car without the repairs done and was saying "we're past that" because I said I would come back to buy it once repairs were completed next week. I went back inside and luckily the manager of the department helped to order my Lyft and said the car will be ready on Tuesday but I left in tears over the way I was treated. read more

BEWARE: Worst Honda showroom in Phoenix. DO NOT BUY HERE!!!!!! I don't want to give any Stars to this place but poor Yelp is forgiving enough! We went in to check out and buy the 2017 Honda Fit LX on lease because we saw lease specials going on, on the Honda website($139 monthly and $2299 down). The sales manager that got assigned to us was Mr.Austin. He started with a minimum quote of $4k down and $450+ monthly lease payments. Who on earth is going to pay $450+ monthly for a Honda Fit when you can get an Audi or a BMW for this price? When we tried to negotiate he said it's not negotiable at all. He was so rude that he wanted to forcefully run our credit without even talking numbers. We have 3 cars and I have never come across such a shady sales person ever. The most weird line he said when we showed him the Honda website price was "I can sell the car at any price I want, no matter what Honda says" ! One crazy guy! read more

Bell honda is notorious for scamming people in need. First, they try to qualify you from a bank with a sales associate, specifically Abraham Mendivil, and he allowed my cousin to take a car before being pre-qualified and approved. They subsequently called us and told us that they "lost" our paperwork, which contained sensitive information regarding our identity (because my mother was the cosigner), and they told me that we were to return to the dealership to resign all the paperwork. This is all per Michael Ring, who is the financial manager at this bell honda branch This was a blatant lie, and they actually wanted us to try to requalify with another bank, but not before raising our interest rate to 15.9% and increased the down payment to $1500. The finance department treated us so rudely and tried to manipulate our deal for their gain. Their malingering business practices are unacceptable and unethical. They have misled and manipulated too many people for way too long. Do NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION. Poor service, and poor business practices. I have reported them to both the BBB and the FTC. The finance/lease team - Iron Gastelum and Matt are crooks and liars. When leasing my 2017 CRV, my only want was that the lease had GAP. I was told over and over how important it was and that they recommended one of their service agreements, which would also give me GAP insurance. It was a mafia show the whole way through, working me from every direction, scare tactics of not having GAP, telling me about how they once made the bad decision to not get GAP on one of their cars and end the end it cost them more when they wrecked their car. I got up and called my insurance agent, who told me NOT to buy this GAP. When I returned someone else was waiting for me (bigger guns) to again create a bigger manipulation show. He introduced a program called MPP - Complete Choice Coverage, which they told me would give me GAP and all the extras for on $39.00 more a month. A far cry from $500.00 a month, which is where they started. It felt like a military/mafia interrogation designed to break me down and fry my brain with TMI - IT worked for one day. The next day I called back after signing the papers and ask more questions. Specifically, asking where in the MPP paperwork does it say - GAP is included. No reference to anything to do with GAP. He assured me it was a part of the MPP program. I let things sit for almost a month, and still, something in my soul knew something was wrong. I started doing some basic research, and logged on to honda financial services where I find out in black and white that ALL Leases through Honda Financial Services included AUTOMATIC GAP in their leases! WTH! Exactly :( They never told me this, and instead sold me a product I clearly stated I did not want or need. They manipulated me by saying - for $39.00 a month, ($2,100.00) you get all this MPP and the GAP you need! When the whole time the only thing I wanted was GAP and it automatically came with ALL Leases from Honda Financial. A total mafia show, liars, scammers. I've already canceled the MPP and will get a backend refund on my lease of $1,997.00, which I won't see until my lease has expired in 38 months, therefore, paying the extra $39.00 to the term of my lease. I've contacted both MPP and Honda Financial and filed a formal complaint, with case numbers and I will review Bell Honda on here and Yelp and file a complaint with BBB. Disgusting tactics. To make matters worse they didn't reset whatever computer or sensor I have in my car so now I'm getting warnings that my oil is bad when I still have 2000+ miles before I need an oil change. I'm almost worried that they didn't change my oil. That's how awful of a service department this is. Honda should be ashamed to have their name associated with this location. read more

This dealership is excellent. They have done more before, during and after the purchase of our new Pilot than I've ever seen a dealer do. The service in the sales and business offices are excellent! No pushy sales folks, no pushy sales managers. Just caring, friendly people working hard to please the customer! We're getting ready to move out of state. These guys are so good that we'll drive back and purchase another vehicle from them. I've dealt with the service department as well with a previous Honda vehicle.
