I came in and the place was like an old grocery story converted into an Italian restaurant. The place was not well lit and the people inside looked like townies. I ordered a chicken parm to go with salad and bread. The dressing for salad was SO acidic I couldn't even eat the salad. The bread was solid just not a lot of taste. The chicken parm was the star of the meal. The spaghetti lacked flavor from the tomato sauce. All n all I'm not planning on going back but not terrible. read more

We were in town and looking for a place to eat. My son found this place on Yelp with decent reviews. We trusted the reviews and decided to go. When we walked in the place was old and dated. The bench seat was held together by duct tape. It was actually a decent duct tape job, but the color didn't quite match:). The service was great and food was good. My son had the chicken piccata and I had the seafood pasta and a side salad. The salad was fresh and the food was good. Morale of the story, "Never Judge a Book by its Cover." Excellent Italian food with a wonderful staff that will see to your every need. I liked the lunch vs dinner menu costs ( very reasonable ) and everything was delicious. Grab a glass of nice wine while you are there. Lastly , Bella Capri offers their homemade sauce to go very reasonably priced. I can honestly say the marinara was the best I've ever had. Not fancy dining by any means but if you want a fine ( authentic) italian meal at a reasonable price go to Bella Capri. No disappointments here. read more

Don't be put off by the fact that this wonderful place is located in a strip mall. In fact, some of the best restaurants I've been to are in strip malls, and this is no exception. The service was so pleasant, the food came out fast, fresh, and hot. The homemade bread was excellent as well, and they even offered extra! Give this place a try and you won't regret it. read more

We were staying at the Georgetown Comfort Inn & Suites and needed a casual but nice dinner & didn't want to venture far. Enter Bella Capri! Though in a strip mall next to the Walmart, it felt like a homey local family-owned establishment with a variety of dishes to choose from including pasta's, pizza's and other Italian specialties. The food wasn't spectacular but it was good, generous proportions (my Mom & I could have split a the spinach pasta entree) and cooked well! The salads were great, too! They also serve vino by the glass, half, & full carafe. Prices reasonable and service was friendly! We just moved to Georgetown and didn't expect much when it came to Italian food. The woman that we bought the house from told us that Bella Capri was the real deal! She was right! I am from NY originally and have not found a good sauce since I left except when I make my own. Their sauce was traditional and the pizza was close to a NY pie! Yummy! The food was good. We had a Blanco pizza and chicken parm. Both good...nothing to write home about. Great, warm bread with the parm dish! My two issues are (1). The credit card receipt gives three tip choices...20%, 30%, 40%. Now, I consider myself a good tipper. 20% at least...but I can't stand being told what to tip. Very sneaky what they're doinghere. (2) I didn't notice till after we were seated and I heard Geraldo Rivera yammering on above me...but Fox News was proudly on two of their three TVs. I usually turn around and leave when I see partisan TV on. ( including msnbc) I think you should keep your politics out of my meal. How about the Weather Channel? ESPN? I am not a big fan of their pizza, the crust is good but a little thin for me. but the entrees are perfection. they make their own sauce and use great Italian meats. I have been coming here for a few weeks and pretty much had everything on the menu. The only complaint I have is the meatball sub.. they make their own meatballs, but they are too small for the standard sub. They make their own rolls.. Really good food. I had the seafood diavolo, which had a nice spice level and a good portion of clams, shrimp and scallops. Salad with house Italian dressing was also excellent. Bread was hot and fresh. Server was John and he was phenomenal. Very pleasant and well-mannered young man who provided excellent service. Just left there, the most horrible experience in a restaurant for a very long time. It was warm, felt like no A/C, a few pesky flies made a home at our table, and one bit my grandson. The wine was SKUNKED! 3 people in our party had sandwiches, no garnish, chip etc on the plate. I had shrimp basket. It was served late to the table because it was the wrong order at first, and still not warm. No cocktail sauce, it was served with marina??? We've eaten here several times before and were very satisfied. The food is above average and usually mimics New York Italian food. This time July 3rd 2017 we were extreemly disappointed. It was a holiday week and it seemed like the usual cooks were absent. I hope. Flys absolutely turn me off. They haunted us the entire meal. It was discusting. On the wine glass, on the salad, on the food. Just horrible. My wife wanted to leave but I reminded her of our previous experiences that were favorable so she agreed to stay. The bread came with hidden butter under the napkin. One problem was that the individual pats of butter had one that was used. Obviously by a previous patron. Ugh!! Our waitress immediately apologized and took it back to replace it with a fresh bread basket? My shrimp scampi over linguini was trerrible. The linguini was absent of any flavour from the sauce and the shrimp was over cooked. Horrible My wife ordered a SHRIMP DIAVOLO. The marinara sause was wonderful. The seafood in this dish was cooked to perfection except for the shrimp which was overcooked and very tough. All in all would I go back? Yes for Pizza. Not for a dinner with friends.
