We moved to Lewes from NY a year ago. Have tried Italian places but nothing exceptional. Wanted to try a different Italian restaurant for our anniversary. Saw the good reviews and thought we would give it a try. Exceptional food, and service. Homemade bread and the Italian wedding soup, as well as the Eggplant Parmesan. Plentiful servings. Owner is Sicilian just like my husband's family. Vincenzo came by twice to introduce himself and check to see how our meal was. Warm homey feeling and reasonably priced. Will definitely be back and bringing family and friends. Make sure to make reservations, even in the off season.

My wife and I went for dinner here because we heard it was good. We had to drive 40 minutes to get there, but it was worth it! It's a nice cozy place that seats about 50 people. Reservations are a must! Started with some homemade bread accompanied by a nice Aioli mix and an espresso martini. All were great! I had a cup of cream of crab bisque and it was one of the best I've ever had! She had the Chicken Piccata and I had the Chicken Parm. Both were made to perfection! The owner, Vincenzo, personally made a couple of stops by the table to introduce himself and make sure everything was okay. If you're in the area, make a reservation you won't be disappointed!

Good food, good people, and reasonable prices. We try to go once a month to support this old family authentic Italian restaurant.

Both the food and service was great. The dining room could use an update, but it was very clean.

Our server said he had worked there for the last seven tourist seasons. The food was good. The rigatoni was perfectly al dente, and the crushed San Marzano-style sauce was delicious. My partner had the pizza marinara, which did not come with cheese but was delicious.

Good sized bar, full service, TV's (NHL Playoffs were on) Staff were great. Side note, whomever was in charge of the playlist knew his or her assignment- well done. Very much an old Italian restaurant feel. Staff was extremely nice and attentive. And heads up the meal will arrive quickly. So do what we did. Order a drink and an appetizer then main course when ready. Portions are very generous. We had ample leftovers- see the pictures- for dinner tomorrow when we get back home.and the pricing were reasonable. The bread is crispy, fresh and warm. So to the food. All the portions are large. Calamari as an appetizer- ohhhh So good. Very light and crispy, not dense or big clumps of calamari. Sauce was spot on. Slight pepper taste to it. They had a special tonight- ossobuco (pork shank) tomato sauce and gnocchi which the mrs had- and so did four others near us. The pork was so tender and fell off the bone, very very good. I was highly encouraged to have the chicken parm. Not sure how the hell they found a chicken that big for the portion I received. Outstanding. Lightly breaded, juicy, very nice sauce and goobs of cheesy goodness.. how any human could eat this in one sitting is beyond me. We have amble leftovers for tomorrow. Mrs got cannolis to go. Pizza made on the spot.. we will be back and this spot is highly recommended.. I found the prices reasonable and better than other offerings in the area. They close at 9 so keep that in mind..

The Lasagna was served in a very generous portion. Having not had Gnocchi since I was very young, it took me back to days long ago in NY. While the entrées were delicious, I was disappointed when I found out the NY Style Cheesecake was made in-house and the wedge served to me was undercooked, slightly runny, missing the tart afterbite of known NY Cheesecake (Juniors as an example). It wasn't bad but it certainly wasn't the quality I would expect a Bronx native to sell in a family owned Italian restaurant.

I call them my $ 40 cookies, this time they were $ 50... cost of inflation, I understand. I like the chocolate cream cheese $ 11 / lb and the chocolate covered macaroons $ 17 / lb. Both are delicious and always the same, which is good. I also bought a package of Crostini Italian crackers, $ 5. I brought them back home, opened them and was almost sick to my stomach, they smelled awful. I took a bite and spit it out. I looked at the expiration, it was 12/21/2025. I called the restaurant, as I was now 3 hours away from Rehoboth. I spoke to Charlie the manager. She was rude at best. When I explained to her that they wre expired, she went to the shelf, returned, and confirmed that they were expired, and said she was sorry and she would refund me the $ 5. I then asked her why I was overcharged for a box that was 1/2 macaroons and 1/2 chocolate cream. She said they are categorized as "assorted cookies" and the fee is $ 18 / lb!! She said next time I came in..... I replied that I also run a business. That I was already charged for expired food, and felt that I was OVERCHARGED for cookies. I stated it would be good customer service to offer to refund $ 10 for the overcharge of cookies, since I was already sold expired food. (Not sure how Delaware state laws handle the problem of selling expired food.) She then said I was "disrespecting her" and hung up!!!!! This is TERRIBLE customer service. I'm giving 2 stars due to the cookies being delicious. Next time, each different cookie will be in a different box, so I'm charged properly for the poundage.

Let's start with decor - I don't think I've ever been in a restaurant this clean in a long long time. The decor is charming, olde world, and lush. Large booths envelope you while you dine with a view of the open kitchen. The "fire element" is warming and romantic and would be great in the cold weather. The service was impeccable. Our server Forrest knows her menu well and made wonderful recommendations. I was looking for a creamy espresso martini and she offered up a cappuccino martini not on the menu but having featured before - they were happy to make it for me. They have great bartenders and mixologist. The food was absolutely wonderful. I had chicken Parmesan, a portion large enough for two. My sister had the below picture Wedge Salad - that looked stunning. She had an absolutely delicious summer risotto - creamy and fresh with summer corn and peas. Risotto is great done right - horrible done wrong - and this one was WAY right. We didn't have room for dessert but I plan on many visits to this restaurant in the future. I had a wonderful conversation with the very hands on owners Pancho and Lisa who have a warm and welcoming style. Such an enjoyable evening. Thank you.
