The potato skins were pathetic it was one baked potato cut in two with bacon and cheese including long human HAIRS in it for $13! Which I could have easily made myself with little effort. Took a long break from this place after I ordered (2days prior) a tray of penne wit vodka sauce that I needed for 1pm football game and they didnt even have it started. They said I couldnt pick it up til 5pm so I canceled the tray and got it from Palmeris down the street for 30$,was huge and delicious, plus they made it on the spot in 20mins. So months pass and we give Bella another chance. we order a Large antipasto and small plain cheese calzone. Prices didnt match the menu, salad was tiny, not enough dressing or sauce, plus the 3oz sauce cups come half filled for 3$ extra. Came to 39$ for a tiny plain calzone and super small salad wit a spoonfull of dressing. Too many good places to eat nearby to waste $ at Bella Maria. read more

Bella Maria is a small neighborhood pizza joint. It's location is off the beaten path and other than those who live directly nearby I bet very few outsiders know about it. However it's not worth hanging out at because the inside is tiny with just a few small tables. It's mostly a take-out business. Their pizza is OK. It's got a very high congealing factor. What I mean by congealing factor is a pizza's ability to congeal in a short amount of time. And boy did my pizza congeal. The cheese had solidified even before I opened the box. That's never a good sign for things to come. The sauce was too sweet and the crust could have been a little bit more charred and crunchy. Would I return again? Probably not. Especially with Grand Apizza being just a short drive away. Grand Apizza is probably my fave pizza place in all of Clinton. read more

I LOVE Bella Maria. Their buffalo wings are incredibly good; they put the buffalo sauce on the side, which I really prefer since I'm kind of a baby about spiciness. Their pizza is delicious, with just the right proportions of cheese and sauce, and they are very generous with toppings! I also really like the grilled chicken ceasar salad wrap; it's SO filled with meat and not too much dressing, so it's not a mess to eat but it's heckin' filling! Run away from this disaster they call a Pizzeria. It is not what it used to be. The first time we got a dried up pizza from them we chose to over look it. But then we made the mistake of going back. This time we ordered two orders of fries and a double order of chicken wings. We will start with the fries: The dimply were not cooked. It is not that they were cold, they just weren't cooked! Then we move to the wings. We got a small side packet of wing sauce they barely covered 5 wings and we had 12 wings. Then we opened the blue cheese and it was rancid. Then we look closer to the fried wings that we needed to dress up with sauces and they were full of bird feathers. We tried two times to speak with the owner about this and the owners daughter Denise, was unacceptable, unapologetic and unwilling to make this situation right, even though they are neighborhood restaurant that we have frequented for years. She not only took zero accountability but she guarded the phone like a pit-bull, so we couldn't discuss this with her father who is the owner. There are many pizza joints in town that need your business, do yourself a favor and pick one that appreciates it - this place certainly doesn't nor is it sanitary or hospitable. Great Salads especially the Cobb salad with chicken, chicken souvlaki over Greek Salad (comes with pitas) and the Greek Salad with grilled chicken. There chicken is moist and very flavorful. Convenient since I live near by. Staff is very accommodating too if you want a different type of lettuce or don't want something in your salad. read more

Would prob give them 0 stars if I could. Ordered for a pickup, just a meatball sub and a burger wrap. There was no one in the restaurant and the cashier fiddled with a piece of paper for literally 10 minutes while never even acknowledging my existence. Took about an extra ten minutes to ring us up. Meatball sub had two meatballs no sauce and tasted awful, and the hamburger patty in the wrap was frozen and gross. Both items were cold, and the service was embarrassing. I took the kids to the Ethel Peters Recreation Complex on Glenwood Road in Clinton. A short time later they were hungry so we used the "Around Me" app and found Bella Maria Pizzeria was only a short distance down the road and they delivered. This was a win, win for us considering I had 7 kids with me and didn't want to pack them up to get food. When I called to order the pizza, a man answered the phone and took my order. He said it was no problem to deliver the food to the recreation complex and more specifically to the skate park which is where we were. We ordered 2 pizzas (one buffalo chicken and the other plain cheese) and a 2 liter bottle of sprite. Thirty minutes later our order would be ready for delivery and it was. I received a phone call back from someone that sounded like the same man I spoke to when placing my order but I can't be certain. This man asked where I was located at which time I explained I was at the Ether Peters recreation complex in Clinton. The address I gave him was 137 Glenwood Road, the address that comes up with any internet search. I explained it was behind a school and was a skate park. He said "ok" and we hung up. Almost immediately after we hung up I received another call. This time the call was from the "Central Office" and they starting inquiring about who I was and if I ordered a pizza. I asked who the Central Office was and indicated that I had ordered a pizza. The woman explained she was in the school and had a pizza delivery man standing in front of her. I explained that I was at the recreation complex behind the school and was in the parking lot by my car at this point. She said she would direct him to where we were and we hung up. A few moments later I see a car pull up to the circle behind the school. A man got out, walked around and then got back in his car. I called the pizza place again and a man answered. I explained who I was, where I was again and asked what kind of car his driver had. He asked me what I was wearing and explained that he now saw me. This was the man that was in the car I had just seen pull around the circle. When he finally arrived he was clearly aggravated, as was I. I explained that I had told him several times that we were at the skate park, outside, with bikes, scooters and skateboards. He asked why I would give the address of the school and I explained that this was the address that was provided when you do a search for the complex and when you set your GPS to this location. He said it doesn't matter... We received our pizza but he had not remembered to bring the Sprite. He showed me the receipt and asked me if I saw the sprite listed, it was. He said he'd go back and grab it and bring it back, he did. The only thing that saved this review from being not so good was the taste and quality of the pizza itself. Not every pizza place is created equal and not everyone can make a buffalo chicken pizza but Bella Maria can! One thing I can be very particular about is my caesar salad. This one was so good! The dressing was tangy and good, and the chicken tasted great (and there was a lot)! Delivery Ordered a wide array of items including Chicken Marsala, a Ceasar Salad, Cheesy Bacon Fries, Cheesy Garlic Bread, and a 2 liter of Coke. The salad was Just ok. The chicken was more like Cream of mushroom soup over chicken and pasta. The cheesy fries were warm not hot so the cheese was hardened. The best tasting thing was the garlic bread and I don't know what happened to the Coke cuz, well I never got it. I'm not sure what it cost cuz I didn't get a receipt either. It satisfies my hunger so there is that. If your hungry and in a pinch it is one of the few places that delivers around here but I am not impressed just full. read more

I ordered the penne alla vodka and it's something I will never get again from here. The portion was a good size but the taste was off and it was too creamy. The bread was good and so was the side salad. I wasn't crazy over the house dressing. It was $15 for this. I think it's a bit overpriced but maybe that's because I'm from a different area. I think Bella Maria is now under new management, and the service and quality just....tanked. Went there on a Friday night for takeout. The girl who answered the phone said it would be about a half hour for my two pizzas. Got there 45 minutes later and they said "5 minutes longer." 30 minutes later, the pizza was still not done. There were 5 or 6 other families waiting too--one of them said they'd been there for two hours! All in all, I waited for around an hour and a half for two pizzas. They weren't even that good--the sauce was slopped on, there was 4 inches of bare crust all the way around., and it was just disappointing in general. read more

I had a delivery tonight of a pastrami grinder and it came to my home dry and looking like it was 6 hours old. I went to talk to the manager and got no where. The kitchen is dirty and looks as if it has not been cleaned in a long while. There was baked on grease and dirt on the walls of the grill and the floor was a mess.
