I'm going to be very generous with my 3 stars. Our first time here, it took an hour and a half to get pizza delivered 2.5 miles down the road, should of just picked it up. The pizza had great sauce, good amount of topping and had great taste however the crust is a total fail, soggy and our pizza just fell apart when we picked it up. We also ordered wing which were good tasting but soggy and rubbery, we like crispy wings. Bottom line-Ok food, ok price nothing special. read more

Then they have the gaul to request a tip BEFORE u recieve your food which is the most bogus bullshit ive ever heard of. so today 3/9/25 my family placed a small order for 3 items at 4:41pm they told us 40mins to an hr to be delivered that's normal we get it in about an Hr. well I called at 6:10 as still no delivery & they said it would be there soon then 6:31 I called agin & said it was on the way I asked to speak to a manger as I was over the we are very busy BS! Most managers if they see they have to many deliveries they pause delivery for a few hrs to catch back up to a normal delivery time! this manager obviously has no clue how to be a manager! she said sorry for the delay but said she told us it would be 1 1/2hr wait time that was a lie! she didn offer anything to compensate for their delay of the food or even tells us a time it would be here! so I cancelled my order & told her I would be leaving this review! Terrible, picked up "famous stuffed pepper" pizza and wings got home... couldnt eat it... soggy raw disgusting soupy mess, wings also in that category... called back got new order delivered.. requested old one back too... sure.. anyways new order was the same exact thing Threw it out... Provisional rating. The cheese, sauce and pepperoni were all excellent, however it was possibly the sloppiest pizza I've ever tried to eat. You cannot pick it up with your hands. There's a lot of cheese, but the minimal dough simply cannot support it. It may have been underbaked. I used to get Bella Pizza in Lackawanna back in the old days and I never remember it being so absurdly messy. I suspect that Bella Pizza, at least the one in Hamburg, has the same ownership and similar recipe as Grasso's in Depew, who also serves a tasty but sloppy pizza that must be eaten with a fork and knife. I see another review mentioning a sloppy pie, so I am not sure if what I received was typical or an aberration. I'll give them another shot but if the second time yields the same results, I'll have to skip further pizzas from this location. All I ask is to be able to pick up the slice with my hands without the cheese/toppings sliding right off, and without the slice imploding upon itself. read more

I would say that overwhelmingly Bella Pizza is one of my favorite pizzerias in the Buffalo area. Three pizza often his extra sauce and extra cheese. Which may not be your style however it is mine. They have lots of specials like on Wednesday is pizza special. That could make it a little bit more affordable for some people to get themselves some of their delicious pizza. It could always be a little bit better but I would still go back. read more

Definitely not as good as it used to be. Whenever I visited the Southtowns Bella was my go to pizza place. Unfortunately it was nothing special. I also ordered a small order of chicken fingers and it did not come with any celery or carrots. Social distancing was great and there are a lot of measures put in place. Unfortunately I think I will have to look elsewhere to pizza. read more

Ordered a sheet pizza yesterday and it was as if they had never put it in the oven. The dough was raw and the pizza wasn't even cut! I asked the employee for plates and napkins, he rolled his eyes and threw them at me. The top plate was dirty so I gave it a nice toss back at him. You think he would be happy to have a job during these times, WRONG! I probably should never step foot in another Bella location again but their Lackawanna location is much better than Hamburg. I'm sure it's the same owner but they actually have employees who have customer service and ovens that work. read more

I ordered on Halloween because my mom prefers Bella Pizza over other local pizzerias. I confirmed with the girl that they delivered to my mother's address (my parents always pick up their orders) and she said yes, so I told her that I would like to place an order for delivery. She told me it would be 45-60 minutes. One hour and 15 minutes later I called them back and a guy told me that they've been really busy and could be running behind... He confirmed my information and said, "your order is right here ready for pick up!" Once I advised that it was supposed to be delivery he promised to have it to us right away. 20 minutes later we received a cold and over cooked pizza. Had some pizza and boneless wings tonight for dinner. I was so impressed with the sauce of the wings! I chose bbq and it was spicy and sweet and had this warm cinnamon taste (that's the best I can describe). It was so wonderful, and the wings were cooked perfectly. Also, we asked for the pizza well done and it came out with a nice crisped crust just how we like it. All of this on pizza night at 5:30 and it only took 20 min! read more

Wings were soggy and pizza was completely over cooked. The wing sauce leaks out of the box and was all over my clothes by the time i got home. This is the second time this has happened (the overcooked pizza part). We stopped for a few slices last week, and I swear the crust had a "chemical" taste to it. Not NYC pizza, but instead it's pan pizza. The ratio of cheese to sauce to crust is unbeatable.. I'm not a fan of the sweet sauce, but my boyfriend LOVES it, but he's also a native. The pepperonis in Buffalo are unbeatable and theirs are nothing short of perfect. Also, if you call 5 minutes before close and claim all the left over slices for you, they will.. I see all of the negative reviews on here so I wanted to post one of my own. I have ordered from Bella twice and both times I had great service. The first time I got pizza chicken fingers and french fries everything was really good and came promtly to my house delivery on a Friday night. The french fry serving was huge. The second time I ordered a pizza for pick up the pizza turned out really good. It's a soft crust and a lot of toppings. The prices are fair also. all of the staff that I've dealt with have been polite. I would recommend this pizza place to anyone who asked me. It's also very convenient to my home! read more

Another terrible customer service experience with Bella. Scheduled delivery was an hour late, the manager wasn't interested in my complaint. At one point she said "I don't care". Her explanation was the volume of orders. It's obvious that 4 days before Christmas (on a weekend) nobody is cooking, therefore a lot of people will order pizza and wings. Staff accordingly or stop accepting orders (I placed my order at 1pm for 545 delivery). I would have been fine with an honest explanation and realistic estimate of when the food would arrive, but I only got the full story after 4 phone calls and was lied to for the first 3 calls. It's too bad they can't get their customer experience in order because the food is pretty good. read more

Only had a slice there twice now but was SO extraordinary I had to write. Seems to me they must have turned around some of the bad things people have reported here. A TRUE Buffalo pizza, great cup and char. Just loaded with cheese and pepp. Slices are really big and more than reasonable. I didnt ask to have them warmed/crisped up and they were soggy on the bottom as reported but the edges were perfectly crisp and fully cooked with a soft tasty fully risen bread appeal. The kids there were just fantastic also. Their slices barely fit in a large "to go" clamshell and can get a little messy on the outside too so be aware. Just moved to the area and live virtually next door to Blasdell Pizza and will gladly drive all the extra distance past them if the food and 'tude stay this consistent. read more

I was very excited when, a Bella pizzeria opened on lakekshore. To date I've made several orders. EACH!!!!!!!!! and every order has been beyond the word Disgust. From not following directions on how it was to be made. I mean really who can not write a simple order or even better read. The preparation of food is of low quality, I mean I want a pizza NOT!!!!! cheese and bread, the sauce was literally dried to the doe---(which was not cooked thru) Wings should be cooked NOT!!!!!! Best pizza for miles around! If your in The south towns this is the only place to get pizza. For Hamburg both the Boston and Lake Shore locations are just as good unless your eating in (then go to Boston). Chicken wings were just good. Pizza is amazing! Don't leave without a bread stick. read more

Family was starving. Ordered 10wings, 1 sub, breadsticks, a 2 liter and $20 dollars worth of pasta dishes (chicken parm and stuffed shells). Food was 20 minutes late. (its fine, bad weather, understandable). We check the food when it gets here and we have a small pizza instead of our $20 of pasta dishes. So we immediately call to report the issue. The woman speaking claims to be a manager. Tells us she'll put an order in for the pasta dishes but we'll be charged ANOTHER $20. We say, "Sorry? This is your guys' fault, we were just wondering if you guys could take the pizza and give us what we ordered? Or if you could refund us the $20 for the pasta?" She refused, claimed that they didn't make pasta after 8pm and that she couldn't make any refunds. This is food we DIDNT ORDER why can't you own up to your mistake and just give us what we ordered? The only way we were able to get a refund was by returning the WHOLE ORDER. So now its an hour and a half later and he delivery guy came back to get the order back. Now we're starving and waiting for Blasdell Pizza to rescue us from our bad decision (being ordering from Bella). Bella tried robbing us instead of owning up to their mistake.
