I've been coming to this salon for a long time and drive 45 minutes from Cerritos just to get my nails and pedicures done here. Unfortunately, my recent experiences have been disappointing. Lately, I've noticed that I'm being charged more and more for my nails, even though I get a very simple set -- short length with just one color and no design. Today, I was charged $75 for a full set, even though their full sets are advertised as starting at $60. I saw Kim, and I was also charged a removal fee for gel. However, the removal process didn't seem thorough. She only used a drill and didn't soak my nails in acetone like they've done in the past when removing hard gel. She even struggled to glue the nails on, which I believe was because the hard gel wasn't properly removed. Despite that, I was still charged the full removal fee. When I asked the front desk to explain the pricing, they couldn't give me a clear answer. In total, I paid $118 for a pedicure and a simple full set, which feels excessive and inconsistent. I've been a loyal customer for years, but the lack of transparency in pricing and inconsistency in service is really disappointing. Mai is a wonderful technician at Bella's. I was introduced to her by a friend 8 years ago and been coming here since. Mai does an outstanding job, very patience, takes her time and ensures everything is done perfectly. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Lee is also just as wonderful with my pedicure. From callouses removal, feet soak and rejuvenating my feet each time I visit. Mai and Lee both take pride in their work and always go above and beyond. More than anything my daughter also joins me last minute and Bellas always able to accommodate her even without a scheduled appointment. I would definitely recommend this place 100%. read more

Most of them are so short it looks like I bit them. Two of them were still longer than my fingertips and I had to file them myself at home. While she is the main one who has been there the longest, the other ones are just as great! The reason I felt compelled to leave this review is that I've seen SO many people throw fits & treat the staff rudely for no real reason. Just because you are frustrated that you can't be seen right away (due to your own poor time management) doesn't mean you should take it out on the workers and receptionists. I visited a few times to this salon before and after the pandemic and the services were ok. I went for a pedicure recently and the technician asked if I wanted to remove the calluses I said sure. She ended up scrubbing the side of my left foot so hard that it started bleeding and I had to tell her to stop (she was not paying attention). Immediately I asked for a band-aid and she did not give me one; instead she put some powder on it, and using the same used gloves to make sure the powder stay (clearly the glove was dirty) and at that moment I really just wanted to leave. It hurt and stain sooooooo bad and no, she did not even apologize. The toe nails were uneven and the corners weren't even painted completely. Then after they're dried up I went to the cashier to pay and asked for a band-aid, and told the cashier / receptionist what happened. She apologized however that's it. A little discount would not be too demanding at all in this situation. This was a huge disappointment, the technician was clearly not very skilled, and after she scratched my foot she did not even apologize which was rude. They had raised the prices which is understandable; however in return the service and attitude were completely lacking. Needless to say I will not be going back. Below is the photo now. Call ahead although sometimes there are less people during the beginning of the week and you can be lucky enough to join a coworker and have your chairs next to each other to chill and gossip! The staff are friendly and quick at what they do, and their collection of gel is immense. Parking can be difficult because the lot is small but there is a parking structure in the back too. I usually don't write reviews, but I have to warn people. I got a manicure with gel from Wendy and the next day my finger was sore. Didn't think much of it because I figured she just cut to much skin around my nail. The second day my finger was red and swollen, I ended up peeling some of my skin off and PUS started oozing out. I have been soaking my finger in alcohol to hopefully heal it, but it's been a week and the second picture is from today, still having pus, now I have to see a dr. This is due to using unsanitary tools! It is not okay to just use the same tools on clients and not clean them!
