I'm just visiting the area and stopped in at Bella's restaurant for breakfast. The service was phenomenal. The food was so wonderful and so plentiful that I could not finish it. It was worth trying to park on Main Street just to have breakfast there I know all the locals know about this place because it was busy. I'd like to give a shout out to the two waitresses that we're running the Room tag team. They were very efficient and so nice. I will definitely come back again.

Small local diner with great service and delicious food. Good coffee and tasty breakfast. Enjoyed the silver dollar pancakes and a side of sausage. The service was friendly and attentive. Highly recommend.

I was planning on grabbing Greek food at the place just across the street because it's awesome and I haven't been there in forever. But, I got a great parking spot near Bella's restaurant and I'm always looking for something new! It was early enough so that it wasn't terribly busy and I was seated quickly. Love the vibe in there...super clean with an old school diner feel...and the 80's tunes didn't disappoint. The menu is extensive and they serve breakfast ALL DAY. Yeah-I was eyeballing the nutella -laden yummies and other carb/sugar/breakfast-ey loaded situations, but I opted for dinner fare. Billy...(not sure if he is the owner?) is super friendly and keeps things moving. I started with a great bowl of matzoh ball soup...which really hit the spot on this chilly evening. I was quite hungry (ok-hangry!) so when I spied the chicken kebab platter served with rice, side salad, pita and mixed vegetables...I was in! Everything was cooked perfectly: chicken super flavorful and moist...none of that dried up chicken souvlaki that sadly happens sometimes (at other places). Even the pita was just the right temperature and had a slight char from the grill. There was even a surprise dolma with the salad. Oh-the feta was fresh and delicious. I'd be hitting this place up for food if I lived nearby on a regular basis for sure.

Food was delicious! Waitress was so friendly. Prices are fair. This reminds me of a mom and pop breakfast spot and I was happy to give them my business! Definitely recommend stopping in if you're in the area! I would definitely return here.

It use to be larger so I'm assuming a remodel because there are new stores on each shelf de the breakfast sandwiches were delicious and the staff was nice ty

When you are looking for a great hearty breakfast at a mom and pop... Look no further. Happened to catch breakfast after a concert the night before. Reviews were good. The place was packed. Mainly with families. Large menu; great and quick service. Eggs Benedict a clear winner. I unwisely ordered a side dish of bacon with my egg, sausage, and cheese sandwich that was more than enough. Not much bacon consumed. Food 5/5 Service 5/5 Value 4/5 Cleanliness 5/5 Noise 3/5 (lively conversations) Decor 4/5

After a long wait for this small and popular spot on a sunny Sunday morning, the four of us had a good breakfast with strong and plentiful coffee, top notch service with a smile, and good food. From eggs Benedict to Challah French toast, eggs, sausage and toast, everyone enjoyed their meal. Definitely THE SPOT for breakfast in Tarrytown

There is a lot of parking available which was great. Upon arriving I noticed right away the outdoor seating was in full swing and I loved how close to the water it was but we opted for indoor seating this time around. I will say we had looked at previous reviews beforehand and had made our choices but, upon checking the menu, it had changed so that was a let down. For appetizers we started with the edamame, ricotta crostini and the soup of the day which was chickpea and escarole. It was a bit strange seeing edamame on their menu but it was deliciously seasoned with the furikake and garlic oil. The ricotta crostini was lackluster. I was expecting a bit of sweetness from the grapes but they just seemed watery once you bit into them. The soup was also just ok a bit under-seasoned. For our entrees we got the chicken Milanese, fried chicken Cesar sandwich, the gnocchi pasta with a side of meatballs and the turkey c.b.a. The chicken Milanese had a wonder salad atop the chicken with all the fixings and the feta cheese added for a nice creamy salty bite. The fried chicken Cesar sandwich was just that. A fried chicken cutlet and Cesar salad stuffed into a brioche bun served with thin cut fries. Can never go wrong with a Cesar salad. The pasta was definitely the star of this meal. The soft pillows of the gnocchi pasta paired with the robust tomato sauce was delicious and with the added meatballs added for a hearty meal. The Turkey C.B.A was such a let down. It literally looked like those sandwiches that come in plastic but just plated. For such a nice restaurant that dish definitely gotta go. For dessert we got the Key Lime Pie and the Profiteroles without chocolate. (There was an allergy at the table). The key lime was perfectly tart and the graham crust gave this nutty goodness that was just delicious. The profiteroles were also so yummy with the crunchy puff pastry, creamy ice cream and then the cherries and candied almonds made for a perfect dessert. While I can appreciate a restaurant changing up their menu often, there are some dishes that should stay put!

The hostess asked if we had a reservation, I answered honestly that I didn't know because my cousin had invited us and they weren't there yet. She said "party of 7"? I said yes and we were escorted inside. As we were being seated, I asked to confirm that the table we were led to was under my cousin's name. Hostess confirms yes. My cousin has a very distinct name. I think, ok great. Our waiter takes our drink orders, the rest of my party arrives and are seated. Turns out, my cousin did *not* make a reservation (honest miscommunication with me) as we learned when the hostess returned and told us we now had to leave. I fully own that we didn't have a reservation and they were booked up, but the way this was handled was strange. No apology, no grace, just "you have to leave." I got up, found the hostess in the front, honestly apologized again for the confusion and asked if we could be moved anywhere. I was told they were fully booked and didn't have a table until 2 hours later. Ok, I get it, but we shouldn't have been seated at all then. This was one of the weirdest experiences I've ever had at a restaurant. I emailed the manager privately about this the day after it happened, but didn't get a reply. Will not return and will not recommend this place to others. No idea what to rate the food (menu looked nice but expensive) since we didn't get to order food. Hope they figure this out and that the restaurant does better in the future.

They're also committed to cutting out the middleman, such as a store, market, or distributor. Located in the heart of Tarrytown on Main Street, we decided to meet up for brunch at Sweet Grass Grill. The reservation was easily made via Yelp. Al fresco seating filled the sidewalks in front of the dog-friendly eatery, and the open door allows chitchat to move freely in and out, creating a lively yet comfortable vibe. Upon entering as first-timers, the wooden bar commands attention, where my partner, his family, and I were greeted by the staff. The bar top is made from a slab of wood salvaged from a single fallen oak tree on the Rockefeller Preserve. We got a cozy table at the front window inside a bright, airy interior with earthy accent colors. Their menu features rustic New American cuisine with many vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options that change with the seasons. We decided on the Veggie Buffalo "Wings" with a side of fries, the Grass-Fed Cheeseburger, the Mushroom "Cheesesteak," and Maine Mussels. Complimentary vegan banana bread started our meal. Every dish at our table was cooked to perfection, beautifully presented and full of flavor. Reasonable price, and the service was attentive, warm, genuinely welcoming, and patient.
