We ordered variety of food including guac and chips , side rice and beans, plantains and chicken quesadilla. Food was good. Good flavors. Just wish a little more flavor and spice. It was good. Service was okay. They're nice but my son's tacos took longer than everyone else's food and it was unknown as to why. We all ordered at the same time.

The chipotle gave the chicken a tasty amount of heat without being overwhelming. It was perfectly spiced. Only thing was that it was a bit expensive for what we received. My addition of guacamole added $1.50 to the overall price of about $12.00 for 2 soft-shelled making it $13.50 just for mine. The tacos are a regular size, not large. I just want you to be aware of this. I would still eat here though and left sufficiently satiated. They have a good variety of drinks and offer an ample variety of food on their menu. They even offer desserts. The staff seemed friendly enough. The eatery is clean, cozy, with cute decor. There were outlets close to our table which is nice. I'd recommend giving this place a try.

Whoa where did this place come from?…read more We ordered from here for delivery last night. I couldn't believe it. Israeli Mexican fusion? GTFO. What an ingenious combination. There are so many things here that sound incredible but I ultimately went for a falafel bowl. You can choose a base which, if memory serves, was a selection of grains or kale, I went with the latter. It was very good. They throw on a deliciously flavorful sauce. I could probably eat anything bathed in sauce. GF ordered the shakshuka and ate the entire thing. She also ordered yuka fries but literally did not give me the chance to try any one of them. I also ordered fries, they were the small kind which I adore. They were a touch soggy for my liking but I plan on throwing the leftovers in an air fryer tomorrow. We ordered chocolate rugelach and babka which I have not yet had a chance to sample. Great place. I look forward to ordering from here again.

They also offer fresh juice and soups. The brisket tacos were amazing! The mole has the traditional richness, but a slightly different flavor profile since they recently got Kosher certified and don't want to mix dairy with meat. They sell alcohol and have a small area with stools to dine in. There is a fireplace to warm up the restaurant. Stop in for great takeout or dine in!

I had never actually been to Southern Table, I had only ever had takeout from there once or twice,…read morebut I have been wanting to try it for ages and I have to say it was worth the wait. We went on Easter for brunch, which we decided to do last minute and they let us know they could squeeze us in. We sat on the screened in patio. They were massively busy, but the staff was on their toes, checking in, taking away empty plates, being very kind (even though they were clearly crazy with how busy they were). We started with the Brie stuff pretzels. They were more like pretzel sandwiches (pretzel sticks cut in half with Brie in between), but were really tasty. It was all so good, I kept forgetting to take pictures until after we had already dug in. The pretzel app came with 4 pretzel/brie sandwiches. We also got the spinach an artichoke dip. It came with a nice amount of chips (hate when they give you too few and then you're just left with gobs of dip and nothing for it). It also came with salsa and sour cream, which seemed odd, but was nice for the extra chips and also family friendly if the dip didn't appeal to kids. The dip itself was really nice, it didn't taste as rich as spinach and artichoke dips often are. I could really taste the spinach, but in a good way. Usually dips like that make me feel overly full and are so heavy, this was a refreshing take on it. We got the Dutch baby pancake, the kids Mac and cheese, the pimento cheese and ham omelet (which I got scrambled), chicken and waffles, and the hot honey chicken. Overall, the food was delicious. The flavors all had depth and were really satisfying. We came home with lots of leftovers and we were all very happy when the meal was done. We will definitely be going back.

I have been meaning to come here for a minute and finally found the opportunity last week…read more It was Wednesday in June. We were actually supposed to go on vacation but apocalyptic weather at our destination meant that every flight to that region was cancelled or severely delayed and ain't nobody got time for that so we decided to take a staycation instead. It felt only right to do the thing we would have done on vacation and go out for dinner. TBH we're old now so vacation or not, we eat on the earlier side of things. I think we went at around 5:30pm. Ample amount of seating available at that time. They have quite a large menu with many intriguing options. Unfortunately, only vegetarian main I recall was the mac and cheese. Instead, I settled on the santa fe salad for my main and GF the lettuce tacos for hers. The appetizer menu was particularly appetizing but we had to settle on two so we went with the spicy cauliflower and brie-stuffed pretzel. The spicy cauliflower was flavored aggressively, in a positive kind of way. The accompanying ranch brought everything together. You also can't go wrong with a brie stuffed pretzel. I don't typically like sweet in what is traditionally a savory flavor profile but the fig jam really added a welcome new dimension. Santa fe salad was gigantic. I actually was able to eat the rest of it for dinner on the following night. Absolutely loaded with goodies like avocado, corn, cheese, black beans, scallions, tomatoes. What a combo of flavors and textures in that thing. GF enjoyed all of the tacos except for nashville hot chicken but she isn't a big fan of chicken to begin with. I was especially impressed by their drink menu. They have a literal "smoked" menu which I could not pass up. I went with the southern smoke which is out of character for me because I typically don't get bourbon (for a reason...and i suffered later). This drink packed a fucking PUNCH. My goodness. There is no candy land bullshit juice drinks here, you definitely get your money's worth. There was a touch of a time period between when I finished my drink and was asked if I wanted another but at least they did ask. Ultimately a good experience. I do wish they had some vegetarian mains but if you aren't vegetarian and like southern food you would probably enjoy tremendously.
