分量大、口味独特、服务友好。这还有什么不喜欢的呢?我们来的时候天气挺冷,但大家还是忍不住要尝尝。 Big portions, unique flavors, and friendly service. What's there not to like? We were here on a fairly cold day, but everyone still couldn't resist.

I remember when Ben and Jerry came to speak where I worked in SF decades ago. They were one of the first modern-day corporate social activists. It's something they are still known for today. Every year, they host a free ice cream cone day. A chosen local non-profit welcomes everyone who enters the store, giving a soft sell with donation buckets in hand. B&J has always been generous in that regard. All the flavors are good. Some, like the "Cherry Garcia," are iconic. I also like the non-dairy Strawberry Cheezecake. The sorbets are good, too. As a purist, I recommend staying with the authentic milk ice cream for that real Vermont dairy taste.

I went for Free Cone day yesterday and the staff was very friendly! I had the honey graham latte ( sooo delicious if they have a pint- I need to buy) the line wasn't too long & parking was available nearby.

I was in the mood of a sweet treat after the parade this week so I stopped by Ben & Jerry's on Jefferson St. The staff were super nice and friendly, even with a line out the door. The worker offered me samples when I couldn't decide what flavor to get. The ice cream was delicious!

Most people that go to Fisherman's Wharf are either tourists or they work around there. I am neither but since I have a fur child, I like to take him all over the city whenever I'm off work. One day, I decided to drop in for ice cream. Funky decor, funny ice cream names and yummy flavors. Located on a busy street in Fisherman's Wharf, I highly encourage you to stop in and have a cone next time.

Such a perfect spot for a little treat. Get an ice cream and watch the seals on the wharf? Yes. Rocky road in a beautiful location? Um, yes please!

We stopped by as soon as we saw someone else holding a double scoop! Despite the cold weather outside we decided to grab us a bowl of ice cream. The ice cream worker let us sample flavors and even gave us some recomendations to his favorite flavors. We decided on cookies and cream and coffee. Cookies and cream is always a fan favorite and for good reason, the chunks of cookie were massive and the creamy base made for a delicious bite. A fun note we placed the coffee flavor on top so while it melted it would mix with the cookies and cream. The coffee flavor was also solid! We had really great service since our party of 3 decided to share a double scoop the staff gladly gave us extra spoons and even an extra bowl to share better! Our first time at Ben and Jerry's and we will definitely be back!

The ambiance is vary San Francisco, with the decor being cows on the cable car as art to the colorful atmosphere, the ice cream is always a must as San Francisco favorite. The service was epic! Kennedy She was pleasant and helpful you were awesome!!

There should probably be more reviews for this overly touristy Ben & Jerry's but here goes my two cents: don't do it. If you must, then consider the fact there is better ice cream throughout the city and there are probably better locations of Ben & Jerry's as well. Having been here several times, I've learned the hard way way too many times. The sad part is I'm not even a SF resident, yet somehow I'm with tourists that end up choosing to be here more than I'd like to count. What's the issue? Let's start with the prices. I thought airports were expensive, but being part of the Fisherman's Wharf lineup is going to command a bit of sticker shock. The other major issue has been poor customer service. Slow, inefficient service coupled with lackadaisical attitudes leads to a ho hum experience almost every time. I get this sneaky feeling they don't want to be there anymore than I do. Seating isn't ideal for groups and when there are crowds the tastings can take forever. The lines can get intense on certain days, so if it's a beautiful sunny day or there is a pack of children around, plan accordingly. Most folks end up sampling a ton because they simply don't want to get back in line again. I can't say I blame them. There is a positive though: the ice cream is pretty tasty. The variety is the whole spectrum of Ben & Jerry flavors, ranging from classics to some funky combinations. A big shout out to the Netflix and Chilled and PB Half Baked. Couple that with the solid view of the pier and they get two stars.

Thanks for the delicious ice cream recipes and fun tastes from Ghirardelli! Another wave of love for San Francisco confirming that coffee ice cream with chocolate chunks keeps us all happy! More promising cookie dough flavors of the fleet of ice cream's favorite desserts! To form the old time fashioned favorite of war candy and cookies despite what's happening to where you are and how dangerous for residents.

On a hot day ice cream is what you need. I am big fan of Ben and Jerry. I saw the banana split poster and said give me one of those. What I got was nothing that looked identifiable. The ice cream is good but common. I think I'll just get a soft serve at McDonald's next time. At least it looks like a soft serve.

Great ice cream close to Fishermans wharf. We were staying at the Argonaut hotel, so this was a close option for us (plus they do 20 percent off one item when you show your argonaut room key). Pros: -fresh, tasty ice cream Cons: -parking -few tables to actually sit at inside

I definitely feel like the team implementing the 7:45AM start time to line up has helped a lot. Not only is it better for the neighbors, but it also makes the whole experience feel a lot less chaotic compared to showing up super early and scrambling to get in line. Everything feels much calmer and organized now. As for the pastries: To be honest, it really depends on what you like. I'm one that gravitates towards pretty much anything with meat and chocolate. Because of that, most of their savory/meaty and creamy pastries are always a must for me. They're super flaky, flavorful and decadent. You can really tell how much time and effort they put into making everything as high quality as possible, especially since you can see them making everything from the window while waiting in line. All in all, I think there's been a lot of improvement over the past year with some trial and error. Their pastries have always been delicious and I personally think it's worth the wait. I recommend getting to the area closer to 7:45AM so you have a better chance of being towards the front of the line. If not, it's still better to come before opening, I just wouldn't recommend getting there right before they open. By then it's not guaranteed that you'll get everything you want since they do run out depending on how many people are there.

My California cousins were downright evangelical about them. The only other time I experienced a similar phenomenon was at work when a group of us were discussing supermarkets for the benefit of our new manager who had just moved to Connecticut from upstate New York. She got downright weepy when she was extolling the virtues of Wegman's to us. So, when we were walking around the block of our San Francisco hotel and spied a SusieCakes on Chestnut Street, well we really had no choice but to go inside and check out the buzz. When we walked in, we certainly understood the cause of that buzz. Some of the most gorgeous cakes I've ever seen were lined up in a showcase alongside cupcakes, cookies, and pies. We walked out with two big cookies that looked impossible to ignore: a Chocolate Chip baked with brown sugar, butter and semi-sweet chocolate chips, and a Snickerdoodle cookie with a cinnamon-sugar coating. Each was $3.99. My cousin told us that the Snickerdoodle reigned supreme in her house, so that set the bar pretty high for us. And after we split it... we agreed it was fantastic, maybe a 10.5 compared to the Chocolate Chip's 9.5. The SusieCakes buzz is most certainly a well-deserved buzz.
