We had the Breakfast Sandwich - Veggies with avocado, and a side of potatoes. One order was enough to share between two people. The sandwich tasted homemade, like something you'd make at home. Meaning, the sandwich wasn't something spectacular and unique, but rather comforting and filling. Overall, the sandwich tasted delicious. The bread tasted like garlic bread. Although a few of the mushrooms were salty, I wasn't overwhelmed because the side of potatoes lacked seasoning. I actually appreciated the potatoes as is because I had more control over the flavor when eating it with sauce. Outdoor seating is available but not all tables had umbrellas -- something to be mindful of if visiting on a hot sunny day.

Food very good & portions are huge. My sister and I shared the burrito it was a perfect. Smoothie was good too. Service bit slow, but it was good. Outdoors seating only. We just wished had another tablet to order and more umbrellas up for shade. Parking can find at the beach area or street parking.

Amazing food. I love the breakfast burrito. You better be hungry, it's big. Eggs are creamy. Outdoor seating and Parking is limited.

Only outdoor sunny seating....gets super hot even in 70° F weather.

We were in the area and wanted to explore this little Oceanside town. We stumbled across Benedict's based upon other Yelp reviews and knowing that it was outdoor seating only. It would be okay and much more enjoyable if you didn't have to sit out in the blazing sun, so I am not sure why they don't bother with umbrellas. It is a very impersonable experience from beginning to end. Ordering is done at the single kiosk only. Then you hope to be able to hear your order number be called from the Airstream trailer where all the cooking is done. The concept is cute. The menu consists of only breakfast items such as omelettes, avocado toast, benedicts, and breakfast sandwiches. Well prices on the high side considering the setup here, portions are quite large. You may consider sharing a plate if you are not coming here starving. Service can be a hit or miss depending on how many staff members are working when you have your order placed. In the case of ours, for a good period of time there was only one cook and so it was quite a wait. But soon after, another two team members came back from out of nowhere. So perhaps customers who ordered after us were served more quickly. Benedict's located in the front parking lot of a local motel. So if you are staying here, it can be quite convenient. Otherwise, like mentioned earlier, depending on the weather it may not be very relaxing.

Checked out Benedict's on a visit to OB this am. Super easy or order through the kiosk, fast service, and yummy food. We got the breakfast burrito that we ended up splitting because it was a lot of food! The only thing is if they could fix up the tables in their seating area 30% of them are broken or teetering unfortunately. They are usually pretty busy so you kinda just have to accept it.

Definitely a bang for your buck! We got the classic breakfast sandwich with avocado and they really loaded on the avocado. I was a little disappointed with the green sauce, I thought it would be like green salsa, but it was actually mayo based. Because of that, I felt like the sandwich was way too heavy and needed acidity to balance out. We got there right at opening and we're able to park in the motel parking lot, but I'm not sure if that's what you're supposed to do. There's also nice outdoor seating although there are a decent amount of flies.

The place has a kiosk to order, with photos of everything on the menu making it super easy to pick out! We got the breakfast burrito and the breakfast sandwich. The breakfast sandwich came with garlic bread that was a super garlicky. I ended up just eating the filling and not the bread, I would definitely recommend the breakfast burrito instead if you're not a HUGE fan of garlic bread. Amazing location with great seating! We arrived at 7:30am and found plenty of parking, free parking lot right on the beach! By 8:30 it was getting busier and parking lot was almost full, just to keep in mind. We got those two plates and a matcha, we added avocado to the burrito and it was around $65, for anyone wondering! Super friendly service! The potatoes were perfect! Would recommend!

Wow! I'm so glad we found this spot on Yelp! It's a cute little outdoor area where you order from a kiosk and wait for your food. I wish they had more shade, since it did get pretty hot.. but the food was amazing! We got the breakfast sandwich, which had sooo much flavor. We also ordered the breakfast wrap, which was also good. The portions were really big, so def shareable.

Why we waited to try this amazing restaurant in an airstream trailer that was on-site of our hotel(Ocean Villa Inn) in Ocean Beach , I do not know! This place we tried on our last day in OB, just before packing up the room to head home. The breakfast sandwich was so large that only half could be eaten at breakfast. Both the other half and rest of bacon my dog, Kai, did not eat was also my dinner on arriving home that night! This sandwich was delicious! My daughter enjoyed her breakfast burrito with bacon the same way- in two meals. We ordered at an ipad kiosk at the start of seating deck and it was easy to use. Reasonable prices and the service friendly and quick once they call your name to pick up. Will go back and Highly recommend!

Stumbled upon this place looking for a quick bite on our last day of our SD trip and Benedict's was in walking distance. Expectations were low, but we were pleasantly surprised! Long line on a Sunday morning to order at the kiosk, however it moved fast and food came out pretty quickly. Many others here were also in and out so we were able to grab one of the outside tables. Coffee wasn't anything special, but the food was bomb. 10/10 breakfast burrito!

Once I order a combo, she suddenly remembers she's out of everything besides curly fries which was annoying. They then stick a piece of duct tape on their menu (?) which looked trashy but also confusing because you couldn't tell why it was there it the first place. They were out of all sodas and only had water, brisk tea, and Dr. Pepper available. Looks like no one was prepared for the weekend... The curly fries were sad and gross. It was pretty much just the left over curly fries as it was just an order of broken off pieces that you usually find at the bottom of a frozen food bag. On top of the that, the fries were fried in old oil. Burgers were ok. Not filling for the price that they are told for. The sauces are awesome but that's about it. Our food took forever to come out and I am once justified for avoiding businesses with teenagers manning it like the plague.

And this review is after that experience, so we can compare and contrast things like pricing and quality. When you come here you must bring a loaded wallet. To try a sour beer or any of their Russian River beers, (which was a surprise to us that there even was beer coming out of Russian River, a place I love for wine) .... is $19 for a bottle. And if you've never tried a sour beer and no one likes it, there are no returns. You pay your money and you take your chances. They are creative at The Joint. I mean an eel roll with macadamia nuts is a brilliant twist on sushi. The second thing we try is their soft shell crab roll. Delicious. Everyone at the table 'seconds' these comments. I ask someone on the way in, seated at a table eating sushi if it is good. He says: "I'll let you know". Later, he comes back to our table to let me yes! It's really good". So is this a good place to go for Sushi? The answer is yes. Is it a little confusing as an asian fusion place to have so many diverse choices? The answer is yes, but I also admit I do like all the options. Again, they call their Happy Hour food 'Tapas'. Is that Spanish, or is it just me? Japanese fried chicken or an arugula salad or oysters? lol Your taste buds must travel all over the place and that's hard on the palate and my headspace of 'what am I eating'? Is it overpriced? The answer is yes! And if I'm being honest, it surprises me that no one else on yelp is mentioning this. If money is not an issue and you want good sushi, our group recommends trying The Joint. Just don't count on happy hour having happy prices. $4 for an oyster is not happy! It's regular priced. Maybe even over priced for a happy hour menu where oysters come in at $1 and $2 for happy hour. And today, they are all out of oysters. lol We usually just tell you what to order when you go to a restaurant. This is the first time we have felt the need to let you know what you're in for, price wise. Sorry to the wonderful staff and great chef. No idea why they need to represent themselves as 'happy hour noon - 6pm every day', leading me to believe there is good pricing. But it's not my zoo, not my monkeys.
