This is a great spot to stop by for brunch near the beach. On the weekends it's packed and there's limited seating so I would recommend coming in a weekday or planning to take to go and walk to the beach 5 minutes away. It's all self serve, order at the kiosk. they get you your food as fast as possible depending how busy it is - expect 15 minute wait even if they're not packed just because it's all made fresh. We tried this place a few months ago and it was yummy. however today the benny lacked sauce and the side of potatoes were like rubber. Zero crunch and not fully cooked. I ordered the Eggs Benedict and the Breakfast Sandwich, and the portions were huge--definitely shareable. I only ate half of the breakfast sandwich and still felt very full. The sandwich was slightly salty for my taste, probably due to the butter, garlic brioche, and the sauces inside, but it was still very good and I ended up finishing it anyway. The potatoes were cooked perfectly: crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. The traditional smoothie was very good, with a strong berry flavor. We ordered on the tablet at the entrance, and the food was prepared fairly quickly. You may want to bring a jacket, as it can get chilly with the beach nearby. I visited on a Monday around 11 and had no trouble finding a seat. I parked at inn next to the food truck but if you have trouble parking there's some street parking nearby. Yeah this place is absolutely amazing and for the price you're paying you get an insane amount of food! I tried the bacon breakfast burrito, the bacon eggs Benedict and the bacon breakfast sandwich. All of it was 10000000/10. The sandwich was probably my favorite only because the bread they use is to die for. When I held the ends of the toast it sagged in the middle from the weight of all the toppings, which is an A+ for me. This whole place is outdoors. We came on a morning that it had sprinkled so all of the chairs and tables were still wet. There were empty tables but the area surrounding the ordering area at the window/RV seemed crowded. There was a menu posted but no prices. What's with these places that aren't posting their prices?? Cute little spot in OB. Staff interaction was limited as they make you order from a kiosk and they bring out the food to your table. I requested ketchup but they were out but then a staff member came back and got me some which was really nice. The tables were chipped and full of splinters. Not comfortable. Food was the best part of this whole experience, eggs benedict were cooked perfectly. Sauce they pour on top is creamy and flavorful. The potatoes are decent enough. The sauce on the side is really good as well. My friends order was missing an item which was corrected after bringing it up to the staff. They have drinks like coffee, matcha lattes, orange juice, etc. Overall, im glad i got to try this place but i was not blown away. The process of ordering can use some fine tuning. The coffee was not good at all. It tasted exactly like coffee from a hotel room. My wrap up. If you are hungry. Definitely come here and try the sandwich. If you are thirsty.. bring your own drink. Have been coming here 1-2/wk for about a month and have only tried their omelette's until today. I have only tried the ham or bacon omelette's which I think are excellent. Their side potatoes are good and are the only thing which might need some improvement as I find them kinda dry and bland. This was probably the best thing we ate on our trip to Cali. It's a no frills outdoor food truck vibe with a few tables. You order on the kiosk and food was ready within 10 minutes. You would have thought this breakfast came out of a gourmet brunch spot, at half the price. The two of us had breakfast for ~$27. I got the traditional benedict and my wife got the avocado toast. Both delicious. The benny had a chipotle hollandaise on it, which added a nice kick. The avocado cream sauce it came with was UNREAL. My only recommendation would have been to drop the potatoes back in the fryer for a minute or two before serving, because if they were crispy, it would be a game changer, because they were already tasty and well seasoned. Allow me to tell you a story. Skip down three paragraphs for the actual review. I struggled my way through college years ago at UC San Diego. That place's cafeteria food is awful, I distinctly remember my brother visited me once and had to pay $20 for 4 meatballs. One of the only saving graces of food there was the farmer's market. It was there, 7 years ago, that I met my one true love, Benedict's. It single-handedly made my favorite breakfast food the Eggs Benedict and it remains this way today. Whenever I could, I'd make my way down to the market every Wednesday to get my fix. Some days I considered buying two servings so I could eat it for dinner too. After graduating I never found any place that could match its flavor, and I don't live near San Diego anymore so I can't go to its farmers market. Sometimes when I visit my brother in San Diego I would look for it in vain, this place had very little social media footprint. Later on I couldn't find it anywhere, not even at the farmers market posts. I craved its Benedict but I had given up hope and thought that it would live on in my heart. Until a week ago. 5 years since I've had this Benedict. I'm planning for a quick vacation in San Diego and my girlfriend suggests giving it a search again and there it is on the website. At some point they must've decided to have social media again. I tell myself it can't be the same place, but I scroll down the menu and I see the familiar "BAT" Benedict with that weird green sauce on the potatoes. Could it be? The first spot on our itinerary is this restaurant. I tell my girlfriend that I love her more than this Benedict, but she seems unconvinced. We get there and it's some random shack on a road but it's popular despite everything around it being empty and run down. I force myself to remain calm. I ring the order up and wait 15 agonizing minutes, but deep down I already know it must be the place. But what if they changed the recipe and it's garbage now? Worry not reader, they did not change the recipe. It is exactly what made me fall in love with eggs Benedict in the first place and I devour the meal in short order and let my girlfriend know we will be returning. She nods, I believe the Benedict has won her heart over too. This place is located near the beach next to some old inn. It looks unassuming but the small crowd around this old trailer will give you the first hint that this place is special. You order on a digital menu and the wait is around 15 minutes. The main downside for eating here is the flies, these guys eat good here. The trash bin is absolutely infested with flies, and so there'll be at least a couple sneaking bites of your food unless you take it to go which I recommend. The food is incredibly good, if you couldn't tell already. I've searched far and wide for a benedict that had this flavor profile, a bit of a kick with the spices but a rich enough taste that it doesn't overshadow everything else, and a little acidity to cut through the fat. Masterpiece. You will not regret eating this food. read more

The bowls were $13 each for a large and there was a pretty nice serving loaded toppings of bananas, granola, blueberry strawberries, peanut butter, and goji berries. I thought it was pretty funny the condensed milk costing $1 million but I wasn't sure how to get condensed milk without risking paying $1 million.
