My regular benefit brow bar has been closed because the person is out for the time being (and has been for minute). I haven't had my brows waxed in about 2+ months. I'm realizing that all ultas are different. I scheduled an appointment about 2 weeks in advance. However this ulta does not do call reminder. Which is fine by me I just keep everything in my calendar. But if you are expecting one, probably not? I got there a smidge early and decided to walk around and pick up somethings I know I needed. The benefit brow bar is just on the right hand side as you enter the building. Sheena was my brow expert today. OMG PEOPLE! SHE'S AMAZING! I just asked for my brows to keep its shape. She did just that but better. She started with trimming my brows before waxing them down. After the wax, she tweezed the little stragglers out, and evened out my brows. I'm super glad there is a Benefit Brow Bar so close to my house! Erin was my esthetician (or brow arch enemy) and I am making it a point to book her each time I get my brows waxed. It costs $20 (not including tip) for a brow wax. Erin made feel welcome and did a thorough job talking to me about my ideal brow shape then explaining the "plan" for how my eyebrows will get to that shape after several waxings. My only suggestion to potential customers is to call ahead of time so they expect you. I showed up first thing in the morning (and I'm sure this does not happen all the time) but the wax was not ready, so I had to wait for 15-20 minutes. Totally worth it to have a regular brow waxing place, though. read more

OMG, Julissa did an excellent job. First time I went to her. She "mapped" out how my eyebrows shape should be and explained and SHOWED ME where she was gonna wax! No one has ever done this, and I am very thankful she did. Always wondered why no one else did this. I made an appointment in the morning for that afternoon and when I got there, they told me that the brow lady had already left because she thought she had no more appointments. One of the hardest things for a girl is trusting someone to do their brows, and I only trust Erin. If Erin isn't working and can't do my brows, I will hide in baseball caps or just not go out in public, lol! One time i went a month without seeing her and my life was a mess and it's probably because my eyebrows were a mess. I want to say I've been going to her for maybe 2 years? Like the other reviews, Erin is amazing! I used to have thin brows. My brows are much thicker and have more arch. She always does an awesome job and remembers how I like my brows to be. She's fast and she's also very friendly! Whenever I go to Erin we have casual conversations about each other's lives and we always have something to talk about. What I like most about her is that she LISTENS!!!! I told her I wanted her to keep my eyebrows as thick as possible, but still nicely shaped, with a slight arch to them. And after she was all done, that's exactly what I got! She even told me which areas I need to grow out/fill in with makeup. She's truly an expert and knows what she's doing. Erin is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Only downside is that it's a little pricey here. ;( It costs more than double the price of what I usually pay to get my brows done at other places. But I have no regrets. I live in the city but I found out Jasmine was doing brows at the Benefit Brow Bar at Ultra and I am so happy... It is worth it to drive 30 minutes and deal with traffic to have her do my brows. She is the best brow girl I have found in all my many years of searching. I am very particular about my eyebrows and she did them perfectly, she even improved upon the shape! My previous aesthetician I use to go to for several years left for maternity leave and wasn't too sure if she was going to return - therefore I was forced to find a new aesthetician. I found Brow Bar and thought of going to the location in San Francisco but I didn't want to go through all the hassle of driving all the way there and parking! I finally decided on going to the Brow Bar in Colma and let me tell you, ERIN does such an amazing job! I called at like 12:30 pm asking about an eyebrow waxing appointment and they were able to get me in at 2, which was perfect! I showed up about 20 minutes early and checked in and Erin took me right away! Erin is amazing! She was keeping great conversation. She asked me about myself and told me a little about herself. Not only did she give me the best brow shape I've ever had- I only expected a basic clean up and she tailored my brows to my face shape, making them look as they always should have been. She showed me tricks of applying eyeshadow to compliment my new brows, and recommended products for my skin type and tone I never would have thought to buy.
