I searched high and low for a Bay Area Indian wedding caterer and honestly found a lot of the options disappointing. Amber was completely different. The food was incredibly flavorful, beautifully cooked, and actually presented well too, which can be hard to pull off at this scale. They are also a full service caterer, which makes managing the event much easier. We used Amber for all of our wedding events, and Tarun made sure every menu felt different and interesting rather than just repeating the standard butter chicken-type dishes. We had paneer tacos, Indo-Chinese served in Chinese takeout boxes, which was SUCH a cute touch, pani puri shooters that made them super easy to eat, and an incredible rasmalai tres leches for dessert, among many other items. The value is also amazing. For some of our pre-wedding events, we did their roughly $40/person package with four items plus dessert. I was worried it might not be enough food, but it was more than plentiful. Tarun himself is an absolute gem.
