This was the first time I have been to this Benihana. I have been to many others in the past. I absolutely love this place. You get great food and a great show. I had the filet mignon and it came with soup salad and shrimp. I love this place and would highly recommend it. I find it a little on the expensive side but well worth it. We left after learning the online me ur is outdated. They offer only 5 or 6 course hibachi meals with prices over $60 for seafood. Looks like maybe it's a rebranding but the public won't know until they're seated and receive a menu. We left very disappointed. As senior citizens we cold not eat a 5 or 6 course meals it would have been a total waste of money for us. We were not willing to throw our money away. We had a 6:30pm reservation, we got seated at 6:40. The carpet floor is filthy I do not even want to put my purse on the floor. Our waitress was in a rush, the soup tastes like dirty dish water and the salad looked like someone threw up on it. We have been here for an hour and they still have not started cooking our food yet. For the price you have to pay it should be a 5 star restaurant. This is a joke, please think twice before coming here. One star is to much! Harry the chief should be given 5 stars. I've always loved Benihana. It's a good meal and a fun time. We went last night and come to find out they updated their menu. I can appreciate a menu update. But now a hibachi meal doesn't include fried rice. Ummm, what? There is a $7.60 up charge for fried rice. Now to ME, one of the fun parts of the hibachi meal and show is the making of the fried rice. No one at our table ordered fried rice because of the up-charge, so my fiancé's first experience at a hibachi restaurant didn't include a significant part of the show/meal. Needless-to-say, that part of the experience was disappointing. $7.60 additional for fried rice! I'm no cheapskate but we just couldn't justify paying an additional $15 for the two of us to have fried rice when it should be included with the hibachi dining experience. We will think twice before coming back. There are other hibachi restaurants out there. read more

I have to agree with some of the recent reviews, in that this place is pricey. I came (for the first time!) with a friend bc they sent me a$30 bday coupon, which is a good deal, but... Sure you get soup & salad with your entree, and the onion soup was yummy, but $7.60 upcharge for fried rice is a rip. And the overall experience is pricey. Our server Selma was an absolute delight! And hibachi chef Ryan was great, engaging and talented with his tools. The rest of the staff were very pleasant as well, so no shade to them, just the business model. read more

If this restaurant were any closer to my house, I think I would be in deep trouble! We hadn't been there for a LONG time, but I got a coupon for my birthday. I grabbed my wife and a friend and had one of the most enjoyable evenings out we've had in a long time. Our friend was absolutely flabbergasted! Our table's host was so patient, flexible and understanding. Our personal chef was very experienced and extremely entertaining. The food was just indescribable! Every bite was incredible! The mediocre food and overpriced menu sent me. Dined here with my husband who ordered colossal shrimp only for it to be cut in half then half given to someone at the table who did not order shrimp. I was ready for a big night out. Ready for a fancy place. Had my collared shirt on. Made reservations. Drove an hour. High hopes soon crashed like a kamikaze. Parking lot is confusing and unorganized. The blue entry doors were cool. First red flag, the displayed wagyu selection for the night was carried around on a saran wrapped styrofoam plate with a green leaf and wilted flower. Um, no thanks. Food was okay. Not great. I love hibachi. Local competitors definitely have better quality food. The staff was just okay. Perhaps they have a hiring program for felons or something. The dinner prep was boring. No good music or impressive teppanyaki chef theatrics. No tossed shrimp or saki. I wouldn't say it's too clean, either. And, the real kicker, was on the bill -- $7.50 for rice. So, the rice/noodle option was NOT included in the $34 chicken dinner. Wow. Rice is like a dollar a pound! I would say, if you want to have a night out with proper attire required, and overspend on mediocre food, but appreciate a bubbling gut and a potential stop at a gas station on the way home for a colon cleanse, I recommend this location. Benihana works better than a GLP-1 without a script (unfortunately, same cost). Saga is better for sure. read more

When our children were young, this was their favorite place for dinner. Great food and you have the experience to watching the chef prepare the meal right in front of you . You sit together with a random group of people so you have the opportunity to meet new people . The restaurant is family friendly. We were recently at your Green Tree restaurant celebrating my mother's birthday. We had Alex as our Cook and he was a lot of fun. I think we set a record for how many times the word "squash" was used! We were pretty needy with our orders, and we also switched seats after we ordered, which led to a little bit of confusion, but that is on us. We don't come here often enough, but when we do, we enjoy the food, service, and atmosphere. Next time you are there make sure to ask for Alex as your Cook! It's Benihana! It's good time for family and friends year round. Facilities were clean and the wait was pretty short. We went for a Thanksgiving meal and our chef was super gracious and really entertaining. I went for the Surf and Turf one (I forget the name) and it tasted really good! The good was the servers that were under extreme pressure due to the managements poor decision making in overbooking. That bad was Reservations that were made weeks in advance and were told upon arrival it would be 45 minutes to an hour So many people waiting for reserved tables there was no where to stand. Took 30 minutes to even get a drink at the bar. And again, poor management, only one bartender with a standing room only crowd. The servers were great even with extreme overbooking. Will likely never try this on Christmas again. I'd recommend trying a different restaurant. read more

Simply put, the worst dining experience ever! I have been enjoying this restaurant for over 20 years, after tonight's experience, I doubt I will return. The waiter was told of my food restrictions, confirmed everything, and then told the chef NOTHING. With 8 witnesses at the table to the earlier conversation while ordering, the same group of people, watched as the chef then questioned the waiter and he then denied knowledge by saying, "oh you should have told me". Then, my son went to talk to the manager, told her that he cooked and I could eat nothing. The waiter flew across the room to their conversation to defend himself, once he joined them the manager then said, "oh, there's nothing I can do, we have been slammed all day". We really wanted to try the hibachi short ribs but they are online order only, which is very odd. So right off the bat, the company missed out on $20. My husband and the other 4 people at our table ordered hibachi chicken fried rice. I wanted regular steamed. They sliced only one whole piece of chicken in half to serve 5 people at an extra $6 each. In his entire portion, only found 3 tiny pieces of meat. I ordered the yakisoba trio. There was half a head of cabbage and the noodles were so thin and didn't look like anything pictured in the menu for either. They were so dry by the time they reached my plate. No "special sauce" was added. I was not offered any green tea or steamed rice, even though it came with my meal. read more

We love BeniHana! It's our fav hibachi place to go! They recently remodeled and upgrade the space a bit! The service is always great and you are seated fairly quickly. I def recommend reservations during busy meal periods and weekends! For your birthday month, you get a $30 certificate with a purchase of another meal of $30 value or more! It can be used M-TH during dinner. It's really great and worth it! I always get the hibachi shrimp, but this time I went with the spicy hibachi shrimp! It def had a nice kick to it!
