I feel ripped off. $8 for a pint of shrimp (yum yum) sauce is insane, also it's awful, it's basically mayo with a few spices but straight up tastes like salty mayonnaise. We ordered fried rice for two which is barely enough food for one adult, also way too much salt. We payed $75 for some sushi, rice shrimp sauce and a tip. Well, I like the service. The Ambiance is too noisy. The chefs who experienced are generally pretty good. However speaking as a Chinese woman originally from Hong Kong, the recipe almost always makes me want to puke. We Asians never add butter to any of our dishes and especially to fried rice as part of any entree! The chefs add way too much salt and soy sauce to my taste. I do really like that they offer to take your picture, such a sweet touch and print it out for you, the staff was all super friendly. I think they should provide a touch more veggies. It was a very small amount of zucchini and onion. The show was a notch better than other places I've been but I did miss the sake being sprayed into my mouth. This place might be too classy for that or it's only done at dinner, probably not done here is my guess. Apparently they are pre mixed and I tasted no alcohol at all. We ordered the filet, chicken & shrimp meal to split. This is more than enough food for us. Our server, Sara tried hard and did her best but was definitely having an off night and I don't think the chef was very nice to her and made it harder and stressful for her then it had to be. Service was okay, honestly felt like our server forgot about us at times. We ordered the Shrimp crunchy roll, spicy hibachi chicken with salad, and yakisoba with shrimp and salad. The yakisoba accidentally came out with chicken, but our server was able to change it out promptly. The food took a while to come out, but it tasted amazing. If you've ever seen a hibachi chef on TV or a movie, the experience in person is so much better. our favorite chef here is Matti. He takes care of everyone at the table from our granddaughter to my food allergies and still has everyone enjoy the meal and show. Definitely the worst hibachi I've had in the city. I received a birthday certificate for $30 of an entre (most entres are around $30 so I figured it would be a pretty good deal). Ordered the hibachi shrimp and hibachi steak each were around $30. The server asked us, is chicken fried rice okay for you? And we said yes. Typically when someone asks this, that means that is what it comes with. Yes, it did say on the menu but most other hibachi restaurants automatically have fried rice. I thought this was a little shady and ended up being $6 up charge. The bill ended up being over $80 which was wild. The main problem however was the quality of the food which was terrible. The shrimp was very chewy and the steak was 60% fat. The fried rice had zero flavor and the vegetables were only onion and zucchini. I guess I'm just used to the better quality hibachi other places. Please go to Ichiban or Yokoso instead, it is a thousand times better. read more
