What is this ???? This is a drop of soup ! Like I'm over here sick and send my husband to pick THIS UP ! Sit down, occupy a table, order your food, then get to go containers ! Otherwise you will get next to NOTHING !!

Dinner was superb... hadn't been to this location in a few years and actually hadn't eaten Benihana in over a year. Oh well it brought back all the good memories. Food was amazing, waitresses pleasant and cook was the highlight of the evening. Ambiance loud with laughter and ppl having a good time enjoying the chef's show. 10 out of 10 for food and drinks . I give it 4 stars due to the price increase on everything across the menu.... Like OMG if you ask for extra sauce at the table they imply they have to send for it in the back they no longer have just sauces on the cart if you didn't order that off the menu for example if you decide you want teriyaki sauce added in the mist of them cooking it's an additional charge. That was pretty weird to me , but hey overall great food . Pricey but still worth it. I will be back and you should go as well.. check them out you may get a chef that will give you some sauce with no issue

It's sad when, over the course of a couple of years, that you see a fine restaurant like Benihana going downhill. Unfortunately, we've seen thus happening here. The last couple of visits, I've had the Land and Sea. A Filet Mignon with scallops. You probably know what a filet mignon looks like. A hockey puck shape of the most tender cut of meat. It was a warning sign when the chef brought out the cart of our uncooked provisions and each of the filets consisted of 3 pieces of meat. That just doesn't look like a slice of tenderloin. Turns out that it isn't, but I'll get to that in a minute. Our chef cooked the meat to the requested medium rare level that I requested. He was in such a hurry to finish that he cut it into pieces, many of which were too big to comfortably chew. Armed with only a fork, which wasn't sharp enough to cut this rather chewy meat, I had to eat big chunks, some of which had fat that didn't chew so well. Not a pleasant experience. I finally gave up and asked Chiela for the manager. I didn't want to make a scene, but I did want to describe the problem. The manager was very understanding. He said that their vendor has been trying to provide alternative cuts of meat that don't affect quality and add value. He apologized for the low quality and offered us a couple of New York cut steaks to take home. I won't go into the rest of the rather poor service from the chef, but the manager apologized for that, too. That's forgivable, but serving a filet mignon that looks and feels like it came from Aldis, especially after raising the price, that's just too much. If you have to raise the price, don't forsake quality.

11/11/25: We went for dinner, and I'm glad that we had reservations. The restaurant was pretty busy, and we had about a 15 minute wait. The décor was pretty nice, although there was limited seating in the waiting area. Once we were seated, we had a great time. The chef was friendly and entertaining. The food was great, the beer was cold, and the deserts were pretty good. There is a parking garage down the block, and very limited street parking.

It's always a good time here! My daughter absolutely loves the fried rice. We came here to celebrate my mom's birthday, and we all enjoyed our meals very much! I highly recommend for multiple occasions and very kid friendly.

Food plates left with out busing for way too long and grill left with food debris. Had to send a drink back that came with food in it...

They can improve everything! Food mediocre and that's being generous. It's a little kids birthday place. So many tables were filled with kids parties. And it was packed! The food was flavorless and for about $50 per person, there were 8 of us. I can think of a dozen places I would have rather eaten! The "chef" was not friendly. Didn't remember that part of the extravagant prices were for the entertainment from a chef using a hibachi grill. A few other tables had more upbeat cooks. From the soup to the sauces, the dry chicken to the friend rice up charge with two pieces of carrot and an onion slice, shrimp was probably ok. The overly smoky tiny space, awful smell and lights were obnoxious as well! They didn't bus our table for 25 minutes after we were all done! Lesson learned. Won't return! This place should have stayed in the 80s.

We have gone to this location for many years and I'm sorry to say it has gone down hill. I called to make my birthday reservation and on the phone the girl said you will get a birthday hat/song & picture, we haven't been offered the picture for quite a few years so I thought they have stepped up their game. We arrived on time we're seated I gave the girl my birthday certificate. The waitress was sweet and helpful. I ordered the filet and scallops. The soup and salad were delivered pretty quickly. The chef arrived and it's the first time I've felt completely ignored by a chef. He did a good job cooking our food but only talked and attended to the 3 ladies on the other end of the table. Was strange. The scallops were good but the meat was stringy/tough and grisly. My husband talked with the manager and he understood our issue. I realize the meat quality was not the fault of the chef. I ordered my green tea ice cream no birthday candle/no songing/no hat/no picture offered. So I'm not sure why on the phone all that had been promised. Was not the way I hoped the birthday celebration was going to turn out.

The tempura was old and chewy as was most of the hot food items. Service was fine, nothing amazing and nothing terrible. When we went back for a second plate around 8:00, they were already breaking down the buffet and putting food away. That was a letdown. No hot food was being restocked, and teppanyaki and hot pot were no longer options. The sushi selection was mostly empty too. For clarification, they don't close until 9:00. The food we did get tasted okay, but nothing stood out or made me want to rush back. On the bright side, the restaurant and restrooms were clean, so at least that part was solid. Overall, it felt less like an all you can eat experience and more like "a you should have gotten there an hour earlier experience." Perhaps my least favorite part of the evening was the relentless ringing of bellhop bells behind both the hot food and sushi counters. They clanged nonstop to summon servers, turning the entire dining experience into an 80s montage where the "Better Off Dead" paperboy keeps circling your table on his bike, dead-eyed, ringing his bell, demanding his two dollars. This is a very generous three stars, given with kindness and lowered expectations.

Refreshing Surprise - Passion & Care…read more I was down the street getting a haircut and had a craving for sushi, so I opened Yelp, spotted Kanzi, and decided to swing by. I'm so glad I did. Kanzi is one of those refreshing surprises: an approachable neighborhood sushi spot that clearly cares about the details. They may not be trying to be an ultra high-end omakase destination with otoro and uni, but what they do offer, they execute with care, precision, and pride. The fish was clearly well stored and well cared for, and the cuts were clean and thoughtful. I tried the red snapper, eel, mackerel, yellowtail, masago, super white tuna with fresh wasabi, and one roll: the no-rice Cool Hawaiian. I'll post a few pictures as well because the presentation really deserves it. I sat at the bar and had the chance to talk with Hong, the chef preparing my food. I learned that he took over the restaurant from his brother and still visits sushi restaurants around DFW at least twice a week to keep learning, tasting, and improving his own craft. That told me everything I needed to know. There is real passion here. Hong believes the details matter, from a clean bathroom to the right Japanese knife, specially purchased for left-handed use. That kind of care shows up in the food and in the overall experience. Go visit Kanzi, sit at the bar if you can, and tell Hong that Tait says hello -- and thank you. Pro Tip: Kanzi is currently BYOB. There is a liquor store right across the parking lot, literally within about 50 feet. Walk in, head to the cooler on the far right, grab a cold bottle of sake, and bring it back with you. Kanzi has sake cups ready to go, which makes the whole experience even better.

HOWEVER, that recently changed thanks to a new appointment we've recently had change our family schedule, where we end up nearby on certain days, and we've decided to make it a habit to come back by here since it used to be our literal favorite Hibachi spot. Turns out - it still is! It definitely still doesn't get nearly as much attention as it should, but as other Hibachi restaurants have started switching to cheaper menu options like the dreaded switch from the amazing MUSTARD dipping sauce I LOVE, to the horrible white goo that some goober called "Yum Yum" sauce (should be called "Yuck Yuck" in my opinion), Nosoo kept the mustard sauce! They also still have the delicious subtle ultra-thinly-sliced mushroom or "Suimono" soup and didn't switch to cheap overly salty tofu-riddled yellow broth like - again - most other competing local Hibachi restaurants seem to have done. In closing, I'm glad Nosoo is still there, still yummy, and still providing the best overall Hibachi menu out there all these years later. TL;DR - THEY STILL USE THE SUPERIOR MUSTARD DIPPING SAUCE AND NOT THE "YUM YUM" GARBAGE!

The hibachi is flavorful and cooked perfectly, and the sushi is always high quality, clean-tasting, and expertly crafted. You can tell they take pride in their ingredients and presentation. The staff is incredible. Super friendly, attentive, and genuinely accommodating. They go above and beyond to make sure guests are taken care of. If you show up with patience and basic decency during peak times, you'll be treated exceptionally well. As for the 1-star reviews posted over Valentine's Day weekend, those lack credibility. Anyone with common sense knows that Valentine's Day is one of the busiest weekends of the year for hibachi restaurants /anywhere/. Judging a restaurant solely on an extreme holiday rush ignores what they consistently deliver the rest of the year. If you want fresh sushi, great hibachi, and a welcoming atmosphere, this place absolutely delivers. Highly recommend through and through.
