Benjamin Steakhouse Prime owes me nothing. I had such an awesome phenomenal experience. From you enter into Benjamin Steakhouse Prime you are greeted by guests. Beautiful atmosphere very elegant and enjoyable. We were in a private room. Everyone had such a positive uplifting energy. Thank you again for having us.

Delicious steakhouse walking distance to Summit one Vanderbilt. Celebrated a birthday here and was perfect for the occasion. Great service, food was great, good overall experience.

The food at Benjamin's Prime was just as good as around the corner at Benjamin's. My girlfriend enjoyed the ambiance more at Prime. Both steakhouses offer impeccable service. The cocktails are strong and flavorful. The quality of the meat is incredible - but the show stopper is clearly the creamless creamed spinach. This is my favorite side at any steakhouse that I have ever been to. I've had a few different cuts of meat and they have all been cooked to my preferred temperature. The menu at Prime is also a little bit more foregiving than a traditional steakhouse if you have picky eaters in your party. None of this will come cheap of course but highly encourage if you are in the neighborhood for a steak to put this in your rotation. You may find it towards the top of your list (it's on mine!).

An amazing steak experience from top to bottom! We came here for restaurant week and it was an epic deal. We would come back for a business lunch or a special dinner. The porterhouse steak was tender and flavorful, and worth the price. I have had steak at over a dozen NY restaurants and this steak was among the top 3. The other dishes were equally delicious, including the lobster bisque. The dessert menu is also a winner, especially their pecan pie a La mode. Must get! Besides the elevated steak, the service was top notch. The host was gracious and even gave us a free dessert! The waiters were attentive and filled our water without being asked, which is always much appreciated.

Benjamin is by far the most delicious steak option in the Big Apple. This was my first time here, and they also had restaurant week at the same time, so we all decided to go there. I got the filet which was a large size. There were four different sides and since we had four different people we just ordered each one amongst ourselves. The food was delicious and memorable to the point where I want to go back and get a nice piece of meat, yum! Service was done pretty well! Overall I think they want you out of New York. But if you are ever in New York and everywhere is filled just go to the same restaurant.

Burrata starter was yummy and I liked the black salt. The steak was tender and cooked perfectly but the meat was a bit dry. The cheesecake was yummy but not great. Service was good and I liked the ambiance. But overall I would actually prefer Benjamin steakhouse (not the prime location) because besides the vegetables the food was better over there.

Came here for lunch on Friday during NYC Restaurant Week. The place was exactly what we were looking for... Elegant and romantic atmosphere! The place was less busy. The service and food were amazing! The food was fresh and came out fast. We had grilled calamari and Italian Burrata as appetizers, Scottish salmon and Bell & Evan's Organic Roasted Half Chicken for our main courses, and sorbets for dessert. Their menu has many options to offer, including gluten-free, soy-free, and dairy-free options. We would come back again and highly recommend you check out this place if you are in Murray Hill.

Went here last weekend and had a fantastic meal. The restaurant was extremely busy because of the holidays, but the wait with a reservation wasn't too bad. The filet was delicious as was the mashed potatoes and lobster Mac and cheese. Definitely an expensive restaurant, but that's NYC for ya.

Honestly, pretty delish. Pricey obviously, but food was the quality is there. Service seemed to be top notch as well. The vibes are similar to any other steakhouse in that the lighting is moody and dark in the evening. This restaurant came highly recommended from a worker at the hotel I was staying at not too far from Times Square.

This is my second worst experience at a high-end steakhouse. The first being Uncle Jack's. The service was okay. It wasn't that busy either. The servers weren't really attentive. Everything was overcooked and charred. We requested the porterhouse to be medium. It was so charred, but there were also medium rare pieces. Staff didn't even basting the meat when they served it. I'm not sure if it was an off day for the chef and the rest of the team. The space and location is beautiful but I do not plan on returning ever again.

Came here during Valentine's Day so we can order through a set menu. Personally I thought I can just choose what I like we when I made the reservation as it gave me the option to choose between valentine set or regular and I chose regular. But oh well Food was good, loved their steak and salmon. But if you want to get your money worth, the steak will be your best bet (not the surf and turf, the bone in steak) Dessert was meh. It definietly tasted like a supermarket store bought cake. The chocolate coated one was screaming it Overall I'll give it a 3/5. Will I come back to try other things, yes. but will definitely avoid coming during valentine or any set menu dates.

Took advantage of the $45 power lunch and what. a. deal. Big steak, nice calamari, and a yummy cheesecake all included. I wish I could eat like this every weekday

Perfect steak experience here!! This is a branch of the famous Benjamin Steak House but it looks newer with more modern and more spacious. It feels more pleasant in my opinion. Their Porterhouse Steak was famous and we came for it. HUGE portion and so nicely done! The vegetables were cooked just right, too. Though we were quite full, we ordered the chocolate cake on the dessert menu and, guess what, we finished it - because it was so good!! Overall a classic steak house experience with fine food and great service! Highly recommend this to tourists who want a typical NY style meal and to anyone who just enjoys fine dining.

It was dark when we entered the coffee shop but an ajar door gave way to the bar. The space isn't too large - the bar and stools take up most of the space but they also have some booths/tables. The place looks great. The cocktail menu is very creative - I got one of their seasonal mixes that was actually two drinks in one. The main cocktail was meant to be sipped first and they provided a small glass of beer to be sipped after. The name escapes me but it was very good. We started with half a dozen oysters, which were fresh, briny, and exactly what you want with serious cocktails. Crisp, clean, gone in about three minutes. For drinks, we ordered the Smoke Show and the King Tusk. The Smoke Show was beautifully balanced. The Grey Goose vodka and Dolin Dry gave it that classic martini backbone, but the fino sherry and brine added depth. The smoked olive oil and blue cheese olive brought just enough savory drama without overpowering the glass. It was complex but not fussy. The King Tusk leaned more aromatic and layered. The vermouths gave it richness, while the Buddha's Hand and osmanthus flower added subtle citrus and floral notes that lingered in a really elegant way. We walked in without a reservation around 6:20 p.m., and they were able to accommodate us at a shared table until 7:15. The menu surprised me a bit. Since I associated the address with Eleven Madison Park, I wasn't expecting to see items like wings stuffed with sausage, which were done in partnership with Jungsik. We ordered those along with the mushroom burger and asked them to cut the burger in half for us. The cocktail menu was creative and a little intimidating, with unconventional ingredients like cream cheese and green curry. I went with a fruity Hendrick's-based drink, and my friend ordered the spicy green curry martini. Both were good. Mine didn't taste very strong, but it also wasn't overly sweet because there was enough bitterness to balance it out. The green curry martini was more adventurous but still worked. Service was mixed. There was a woman standing near us, so we tried ordering food with her, but she seemed hesitant to come over. Maybe she wasn't a server or was newer. For drinks, she brought over someone more seasoned, who quickly helped guide us based on our preferred taste profiles. Her suggestions were very good. The mushroom burger was the highlight for me. It was a little salty, but the crispy mushroom and soft bun were a great combination. I honestly wished I had more than half. The wings were okay. They were crispy on the outside and juicy inside, but coated in a Dorito-like powder that made them very messy. Overall, it was a good experience, and I'd come back, especially for the mushroom burger.
