Kinda run down place but the food was good. Complimentary bread basket had some stale ish slices of a mish mosh of stuff and they gave you cold butter packets. Wine pours are top tier Lemon drop martini was salted rim and tasted a little Margarita esque but it was fine. Crab cake app was nice. Big chunks of crab with 2 sauces and crispy outside. French onion soup was decadent. The cheese just pulled and pulled and pulled. The broth could've been a little richer and a little saltier from my liking, but it was nice. We shared a fillet and when they came out, I thought they had misheard because that thing was massive. We each probably got 6 ounces. Very well seasoned tasted great. Also got the side of cream spinach, which was delightful. For all of that, it was about $300 after tip. So pretty pricey, but maybe standard for New York

Ok, hear me out, the food was good! but in NYC, for the price, I gotta say 3 Stars. I've gotten amazing and arguably better quality steak from restaurants like Ophelia Rooftop Bar for a fraction of the price. The steak was like chewing through a tire all due respect. The cheesecake was GREAT!!! But the Mac and Cheese and mashed potatoes could have come out a kraft box. Just again, for the price.

The food, service, and ambiance were all exceptional. A truly authentic steakhouse atmosphere, executed at a very high level. The steak was perfectly tender, the crab cake was, without exaggeration, the best I've ever had, and the lobster was outstanding. The cocktails were outstanding. I took my wife here for her 30th birthday, and the staff went above and beyond, graciously sending champagne and an after dinner drink on the house. The hospitality was thoughtful, professional, and sincere. We felt genuinely welcomed and well cared for throughout the meal. A memorable lunch experience that delivered on every level.

Solid yet Pricey Steakhouse in the Theater District! I celebrated a 35th birthday with dinner here. We arrived at our reservation time and were promptly seated. They also had stand alone high chairs which was plus. We skipped the appetizers and went straight to the meat of the meal... the Porterhouse Steak for Two which was a good serving of nicely aged beef. The quality of beef used is undeniably solid but the flavor could have been better accentuated with more seasoning. Usually some of the 'au jus' drizzled over it would correct that but this was not the case. The sides were also solid not spectacular; we went with Sautéed Asparagus and Mac & Cheese. The Mac & Cheese was good but also missing that next level seasoning throughout. I would say the same of the Twin Lobster Tails. The price was not reflective my overall satisfaction with our meal. The bill was higher than similar steakhouses in the area. This is echoed by other Yelp Elite Reviews.

Great steakhouse in midtown. I tried the lamb chops, mashed potatoes and broccoli and all were delicious. I just wish the lamb chops were seasoned with more than salt and pepper. The cheesecake was great too. The service was great and the ambiance was intimate and fancy. Overall, I'm happy with my experience here!

Royal 35 is amazing steakhouse with old school vibes. Decided to try Royal 35 for my birthday after seeing it spoken about on social media. I am happy it lived up to the hype. The hostess and wait staff were friendly and patient. We ate on the first floor in the room toward the back. The room gives an intimate feel as there were other couples having dinner and/or families. Was quiet, not a loud party vibe. You could hold a good conversation with your table without feeling as though you had to shout. Upon leaving staff said their goodbyes. I am not sure if it was the manager or owner, but he made sure to speak up as we were leaving to make sure we enjoyed our meal. Husband and I got drinks, Cesar salad, porterhouse steak for two, veggies, and macaroni and cheese. Lets just get down to the nitty gritty. The steak, and its presentation, were perfect. Perfectly cooked to desired temperature, perfectly seasoned, perfectly juicy and tender. I would definitely suggest coming here if you want to have a nice dinner date, or take your parents out, or to celebrate a major event.

Cuisine: 7 Service: 6 Decor: 8 Value: 7 Overall: 7 Let me start off by saying that this was one of the more flavorful ribeyes I had in recent memory. For $75, I expect a good steak, but have been disappointed before at other steakhouses. It was tender and juicy, though the crust could have been better. Caesar salad was just okay. We also returned the asparagus soup, which was cool. Service score suffered a little due to hesitancy to return it to the kitchen. French onion soup and crab cakes were both decent. As for decor, it's got a typical steakhouse design. However, I did like the interior design for chomping down my large hunk of meat. I'll likely come back again in the future.

I'm so glad we can to Royal 35. The food was amazing. Probably the best steak I've ever had. We were greeted by one of the owners of the place and he was one of the nicest most humble people you will ever meet. Can't wait to go back again. They definitely to steak right.

BOMB BOMB BOMB!!! Alfred which I believe is the manager introduced himself to us and really made us feel welcome and comfortable. We spent the weekend in NYC and were looking for a great steakhouse,,, AND WE FOUND IT! Both food and service was absolutely amazing. Indoor dining is finally available and they went above and beyond to make sure they follow Covid Protocol. We ordered the Filet Mignon, Bone in Ribeye, Mac and Cheese, and Bacon as the appetizer. I didn't get to take a picture but their cocktails are amazing as well!!!!

Fancy af steakhouse. Perfect for a business meeting or anniversary. Service was literally 5 stars. The food was delicious! I did wish the steak was a little less chewy (some parts were which was surprising) my friend's piece was a bit too raw and then when they heated it, it was too over cooked so she wasn't feeling it. But overall the meat is very good.

As soon as we walked in, we were warmly greeted by a lovely lady whose name I unfortunately didn't get. We were seated immediately at a beautiful booth that was incredibly comfortable. The bathroom was also spotless and very well maintained, which is always a nice reflection of how much a restaurant cares about the details. We ordered a cocktail called the VIP. Our server, Erik, knew we were planning to share it, and he thoughtfully had the drink served in two separate glasses. Such a small gesture, but it showed just how attentive he was to our needs. The cocktail was refreshing and delicious. The hospitality was truly exceptional. Omar, the Assistant General Manager, checked on us throughout the meal and made sure everything was perfect. Erik was equally wonderful--extremely attentive, welcoming, and professional. He made us feel genuinely cared for throughout the entire meal. The New York City Restaurant Week menu was still being offered, so we each chose three courses. I started with the crab cake, followed by the Pan Roasted Arka salmon, and finished with cheesecake for dessert. Hubby had the wagyu meatballs, filet mignon, and butter cake. We also added the tuna tartare as an appetizer and creamed spinach as a side. Every dish was outstanding. Everything was beautifully prepared, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. We left extremely happy and satisfied. It was another wonderful dining experience, and we'll definitely be back again!

A Birthday Dinner That Felt Like a Scene From a New York Movie…read more We chose Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse for my birthday dinner because we wanted something special--not just a good meal, but a real New York moment. And the moment we walked in, I thought, yes... this is exactly where a birthday should happen. The restaurant is absolutely stunning. The high ceilings, dramatic staircase, rich wood, elegant details, and huge dining room made everything feel grand and glamorous. It had the classic energy of an American steakhouse, but with a modern and luxurious New York style. Then I noticed the enormous floor-to-ceiling windows. Honestly, the glass was so perfectly clean that I almost forgot there was glass there at all. For a second, it felt like the entire city was simply open in front of us. I was strangely impressed by this because giant windows in a busy city are not always this spotless. But here, they were crystal clear, and the New York view became part of our dinner. We sat looking out at the city, ordered wine, and began my birthday celebration. Then, as if someone had carefully planned the scene, a sudden rain shower started outside. Perfect timing. There we were, sitting inside this beautiful restaurant, watching the rain fall over New York through the giant windows, drinking delicious wine, eating incredible food, and celebrating my birthday with my family. It felt less like dinner and more like a scene from a movie. The wine was wonderful, and every dish we ordered was delicious. The oysters were fresh and clean-tasting. The burrata was creamy, soft, and beautiful with the tomatoes. The warm bread arrived shiny with butter and was dangerously good--the kind of bread that makes you say, "I'm only having one," and then suddenly the basket is empty. The fish entrée was beautifully prepared, and the steak was exactly what I hoped for. It had a deeply seared, flavorful crust on the outside while staying tender and juicy inside. This was not the kind of steak you quietly eat. This was the kind of steak that makes everyone at the table stop talking for a moment. That silence was the review. Everything tasted carefully prepared, and the ingredients felt fresh and high quality. There was not one disappointing dish on the table. At the end of dinner, they brought out a lovely birthday dessert with strawberries, pink cream, a candle, and a "Happy Birthday" chocolate decoration. It was sweet, pretty, and the perfect ending to the evening. The beautiful interior, the sparkling wine, the city view, the sudden rain, the excellent food, and my family celebrating together made the entire night unforgettable. I went there expecting a nice birthday dinner. Instead, I received a full New York birthday movie scene--with steak. I would absolutely return the next time I visit New York. Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse is a wonderful choice for a birthday, anniversary, romantic dinner, or any occasion when an ordinary meal simply is not enough.

Ambiance: This place has a nice ambiance, definitely very "New York" -- dark (you can't see how dirty the floor is) and loud music (maybe too loud). We sat upstairs (we had a reservation) and of all the people on the top there was a party of 4 (us), a party of 8 (all dudes celebrating something) and the rest of the tables were on a DATE - which I thought was funny. Service: We were served by Ann-Marie who was so delightful. She was kind, super nice, and took the time to speak to us (which is basically how we figured out she wasn't a native New York City person). She gave us good food suggestions and we were very happy with our selection. Food: Here is what we ordered * Steak Frites: My two boys got the steak frites and I have to say the steak was awesome! I had a bite of each of theirs and they each ordered it differently (one Medium Rare/Medium and one Medium) and they both were prepared PERFECTLY. The fries were overflowing. * Caeser Salad with Salmon: My wife got the salad with Salmon (they only have a few salad options) and she enjoyed it. * Prawn and Crab Risotto: I got this and I have to say it was VERY bland. I wouldn't get this if you are looking for taste. I had to put salt and pepper on it to make it have any semblance of taste. Value/Price: I would say this is not over priced but it is not cheap either...bill is attached. I would recommend it to folks who are looking for a good place to either go out on a date or a family type meal.
