    Big drink selection

Very good service and a great concept it was a good hang out if you don't mind being in a very loud environment. The appetizers we good but not memorizable. I'd try it again when it's not too busy or if the can manage to open up the place up to some outside seating .

    Self-pour fun!!

A dog-friendly neighborhood oasis, Benny Thunders is a quaint self-pour pub tucked away in the Heights. They offer a great selection of well-known breweries and a few lesser known (at least, to me). They cater to all the right needs of urban-dwellers: food trucks, good drinks, and one day, when the weather works in our favor, a host of outdoor activities (giant Jenga, cornhole, outdoor seating). A marvelous little shoutout to the manager: we tried to call before arriving and the calls weren't getting answered. The manager went out of his way to actually call us back. I, for one, am in love and will return as often as possible.

Absolutely awesome place to hang out in the Heights! The atmosphere is so like country within the city with an outdoor fire place and some of the best craft beers, ciders, and wines in Texas! Maximillio is an awesome guy and recommended some delicious ciders for me! Will def be back for more;-) They also had a food truck called the Nacho Wagon. It was amazing as well!

dog friendly cider food trucks WiFi - remote work friendly fun facts: they also host trivia nights on Tuesday - check their schedule out they bring local brewery reps to MC (I saw Paradigm glasses-I was just there a week ago) they also host free yoga ‍on Mondays

Get a flight so you can try out a variety of drinks.

My new favorite place, especially since it's a five-minute walk from my house! First, the concept is really cool and fun. I really like that each selection has information about it on the screen, which makes it easier to know what you're getting. Second, the selection is great and it's fun to get a flight and try a number of different things. I've had some good (and not so good) stuff that I probably would have never tried if I had had to commit to a full glass. Easygoing atmosphere with a lot of outdoor seating. Dog and kid friendly, although I don't know why people would bring their infants to a taproom. Not a ding against BT, just the kid who threw the playing cards all over the place. Located right on the Heights Hike and Bike trail, it's a great friendly spot to have a drink and relax.

Amazing place! Really loved the selection, the atmosphere, and the friendly staff. The food trucks nearby where an added bonus!

love the idea behind putting money on a card and using the tap system to pay a certain amount per ounce.

We stopped in and I asked if they did flights and I simply got a rude "nope" and the guy just looked away. So I ordered a Happy Accidents pale ale that was decent. I asked if they had stickers and I got the same "Nope". I asked if they ever had them or if they were just out, "out" was the reply. Not exactly a chatty guy. So, this most recent visit, I came with a couple buddies. We stopped in before the World Baseball Classic. Still no flights and still no stickers. (The stickers are important for my garage man cave wall!). However, the beertender was a much friendlier lady this time and I got an orange fudge stout that wasn't very good. The place itself is pretty cool for the most part. Really big outdoor area with a bunch of shipping containers turned patio covers. There are a bunch of pinball machines, and the decor is fun. They are also heavy on the cannabis side of things. Areas for improvement: Get some stickers offer flights so people can try your beers parking sucks

I don't know enough about beer to describe their offerings with any level of fairness but the coffee stout I had was really good and well worth the calories. Just a Tip, if you've never been to this area before, the south end of the brewery on Judiway Street is the unassuming end next to all the town homes and kids playing on the street, etc. so if you need to park, you need to go up one street where there is street and paid parking options and you'll see the other bars too.

It's nestled in central Oak Forest area amongst residential homes and bungalows and I just love that vibe. I usually visit during the week day so not a big crowd. I enjoy sitting out on the patio or couch. There's usually a food truck outside for small bites and burgers as well. In addition to beers on tap, they also have this cool concept of in which flavored ice cubes of orange juice and different flavors are placed inside Prosecco, for a refreshing mimosas which I thought was neat. Parking is located by the right side of the building as there's a huge lot. Payment is required.

It was raining, so we entered on the backside of the property and stayed at the pizza & pints area (indoor casual eating spot with amazing freshly made pizza. We also had the best Caesar salad). They have a full sit-down restaurant, bar, outdoor patio, biergarten, gift shop, barber shop, dentist....ok I may have made up the last 2. When we got here, we 1st went to their gift shop so I can get a sticker for my garage wall and ended up picking up a tin tacker too. They even threw in a few free glasses. Score! Everything was reasonably priced too. From there we went to the Biergarten because they had a huge TV to watch the football game. To my slight disappointment, the tap list outside was limited and they didn't have flights, so we went back inside. We grabbed 2 seats at the bar and I got my flight. The tap list is very large, and they have 5 rotating tap room exclusives that they call "Fun Series". I always love to see this. Take notes Shiner! Their flights are 5 beers each (always love the larger flight boards.....also take more notes Shiner with your measly 3 beer flights) so I got 3 different IPA's, a brown ale and a pumpkin lager. I usually hate pumpkin beers, but this one was quite good. My favorite was the Rodeo Clown Double IPA. The lady friend was able to get a non-alcoholic beer that they also brew. We didn't get any food, but I will certainly be back to try it.

The beer selection is solid with plenty of options whether you're in the mood for something crisp, hoppy, or a little adventurous. Food-wise, the wings and fries came out exactly how they should--hot, crispy, and perfect with a cold pint. Nothing fancy needed when the basics are done right. But what really made the experience stand out was the hospitality. Gabe behind the bar was fantastic--friendly, attentive, and the kind of bartender who makes you feel like you've been coming there for years. By the end of the night it honestly felt like we were regulars. Great beer, hot food, and top-tier service. That's a recipe for a place I'll definitely be back to.

The patio is huge, and they recently added covered lounge areas with heaters, which makes it comfortable year-round. There are TVs everywhere, and they show plenty of local games, including rugby.
