Having owned a pizza business myself, i can honestly say this is a great place to go. Its been under the same management for years and you will find that the staff is very friendly. Benny's is my go to pizza shop in West Chester. It's amazing food, great service and its in a great location in downtown Wedt Chester. The pizza is to die for, and I promise it will not dissapoint. If you read my previous post about Fennarios. Then you would be able to see Benny's Pizza, which is right across the street. One would think that 2 places that are not competing for customers would help each other out. But sadly this is not the case. Fennarios tells about them and welcomes Benny's customers with joy and friendliness. Benny's on the other hand see's Fennario's customers as nuisance. I do understand some of it. Benny's have a great point not to want kids hanging out in front of their establishment. It draws unwanted attention. But these same kids came in with their friends who were eating and sat down. To be then told by manager ( I'm guessing at that he was the manager or owner) to leave if not ordering any thing. Now you have a pizza shop, which is what kids like, not a 5 star place. And there its not like people are not pounding on the doors to get in. Before the came in I was was the only person there. I for one wouldn't care if the kids were there. If they ordered something great. If not there friends did. So you made some thing off the deal. Plus just because these kids don't buy food this time. Doesn't mean that they won't go home and tell their parents about the place and then come back to spend more. I guess they just don't like money. But I always remember one thing " kids are people to." And this bad temper towards customers wasn't just to kids. My business partner went in to grab a slice, and the owner yelled at him because we bought all the teenagers to to the area. We did for a battle of the bands that was going on at Fennario's. And my business partner said "yeah and all those kids came and bought food here. I guess you don't like money." Then turned and walked out the door. Now they say that they are " The first in town and the Best in town". The first might be true, but I sure hope the second isn't or West Chester is in dire need for good pizza. I ordered 2 slices of sausage pizza, and it was very bland. I mean even the sausages themselves have no taste what so ever. I was hungry so I ate it with a lot of garlic. I'm not sure if I'll be in the area again, but one thing that is for sure is that I will never be going here again. And to make matters worse they have those seats from the 70's that don't move. So if you are a true fat kid good luck getting in and even more luck getting out. With all this being said I can't never in good faith recommend this place to any one. So Benny' Pizza has been Fat Kid Tested, but unfortunately NOT Fat Kid Approved. Stay peckish my Friends read more

For a tasty bite and friendly service, I'd recommend this place to anyone. Granted it's not a super-classy joint, but I believe that therein lies the appeal. It stands out by being a family-owned restaurant. Sure, money is important to them, but they also have respect for their regulars and customers who they hope to see come back. This is the most amazing restaurant in west Chester. The owner, Sal, goes above and beyond for his employees and for every one of his customers. The pizza has the best sauce in town, and again the most dedicated service. The cheese steaks are also quite amazing. I eat here almost every day.... really enjoy their pizza! Chicken cheesesteak and cheesesteak are my favorites, followed closely by the taco, white with tomato and riccotta cheese and even the plain. The sauce is a sweeter sauce which I love - I always get some on the side to dip my crust. The only reason that I didn't five 5 stars is that I have to agree with the opinion about the sausage.... sorry guys, it is horrible!!! get some new sausage! Everything else is YUMMY! and you can't beat the price of the lunch specials! read more

It's a cute little place just a block or two from my office. I love their lunch specials. It's a decent amount of food for the price ($5.50). The buffalo chicken cheese steak is GOOD. The fries are kinda of hit or miss, some days crispy other days they could stand to be in the fryer for a minute or two more. Overall though myself and my co-workers eat there at least once a week and thoroughly enjoy the food, specially for the price. read more

Benny's pizza is one of my favorite pizza places in West Chester, and no not for the pizza. I love this place because of their well known Stromboli's. They make the best Stromboli's around. I am sure their pizza is good, but I have been going to this place since I was a kid and have only ever ordered the ham and cheese Stromboli. When I was in high school I got a job here for about a month. I love the owners. It is almost like a family tradition to work here. My dad, uncle, and sister all have worked here. The owners are wonderful. They are as Italian as Italian can come. They are friendly, and welcoming which is always nice when you see their faces as you walk through the doors. The bad part is that the parking is a terror. You either pay for a garage and walk or cross your fingers as you drive around the corner to get a spot where you still have to pay a meter. It is all worth it once you get a taste of the Stromboli. read more
