Deep down I was craving sushi and as I drove down Henderson, prepared to give up and hit chick fil a...there it was. Drive through Japanese food seemed suspicious but the yelp rating was ok so I went for it. One spicy tuna roll and salmon bento box later, I'm a believer. Nicely seared but not over-cooked salmon, crispy, tender veggies, tasty ginger soy. The spicy tuna was freshly rolled. Pretty good (better than grocery store sushi). All for a little over $10. I love this place for its quick "healthier" lunch options. For a dollar more I can come her get grilled shrimp and veggies instead of a burger and fries else where. I have been here about four times now and haven't had a bad experience, the veggies are fresh off the grill, the shrimp are standard but for the price point I can't complain. Their tofu is good as well. If you are expecting a Japanese steak house experience this is not for you. This is a family owned business. It is clean, and the food is fresh. I have eaten here at least a dozen times and tried various things and specials. The sushi is pretty basic but very good. BENTO GO IS SO AMAZING! i've ordered food here many times and I've never been disappointed! the food is always high quality and flavorful! We went here with really no expectations and we were pleasantly surprised. You have to keep in mind that this is a to-go place not a sit down fancy dinner place. You can't compare the two. We only had to wait maybe 5 minutes for our food if that and what we received in a short time was good! We ordered the tuna, avocado, cucumber roll and the shrimp, avocado, cucumber roll and the shrimp hibachi. They have gluten free options like the hibachi, salads and sushi. They have gluten-free soy sauce upon request and their yum yum sauce is gluten-free as well. We will definitely be back. Their delivery window is super convenient. I live behind Bento Go and I have watched this place go from an empty building (formly Wendy) to what it is now over the last few months. I was very eager to try it considering its proximity to my home. It's only their second day of business and I'm sure any kinks or hiccups in the process will be worked out over the coming weeks. (There were two "GRAND OPENING JUNE 1st signs in the windows; not like I expect people in this area to read signs [pro tip: they don't.]) The menu is "sort of" set-up like Bibibop or Chipotle: you choose a main dish and a side. Unlike Chipotle, you can choose something else like ramen, noodles, sushi, or other appetizers. It's all prepared in the kitchen as you order it, so no food sitting around in pans or bowls going stale. Anyway, I ordered the chicken katsu with white rice and waited about 15 minutes for it to be ready. Decent sized portion of chicken. It was hot and crunchy, not oily or greasy. White rice is white rice, so y'know. The katsu sauce is a bit sweet with a little tang. Definitely will be going back to sample the other items on the menu. read more

I was excited to try this place since I enjoy fast and yummy japanese/asian food. I've been here twice. First time I got the chicken katsu. It was crunchy and fulfilling, all for about $6! Second time I tried the salmon and tuna avocado rolls. Two rolls for $7, what a great deal! However, the fish wasn't too fresh. But for the price I'm not complaining too much. It's a great place for quick and cheap bento food. I'd definitely go back to try other items on their menu. They were pretty empty both times I was there. First time here today..I got three appetizers and a shrimp Hibachi. When I was leaving I noticed it was the same Family from China King which was a GEM in Columbus for years.Had the BEST General Tso...anyway the appetizers were all wonderful. Egg rolls, Crab Rangoon with actual crab in the feeling, not just cream cheese and onion. Chicken wings with the General Tso sauce I remember. Hibachi had great shrimp and rice. Price is unbeatable. I had high hopes, but was severely disappointed. First of all the service was horrendous. After waiting in line behind three people for 15 minutes, I was finally able to place an order for the Tonkatsu ramen. I then proceeded to wait another 20 minutes (not an exaggeration, this was the actual wait time) before getting my food. I was also not the only one waitinig an excessive amount of time for "fast food". During that time no one in the staff apologized and communiucated when my food was coming out. Furthermore, the entire staff look pretty confused just shifting receipts back and forth. It also doesn't help that one of the two cashiers they had was also trying to answer phone calls for carryout and running the headset for the drive-thru. Finally, I received my ramen and it was totally not worth the money, even at the super cheap price point. Where do I start? The broth tasted like it was just hot chicken stock, the noodles seem like they could've come from a $0.30 bag of ramen, the hard-boiled egg was over cooked and the yolk was somehow both gritty and soggy and the potstickers were soggy and undercooked. Overall, not enjoyable at all. I couldn't even finish it. I can't recommend this to anyone. Between the awful quality of service and uninspired cuisine, there is no reason to waste your money here. read more

I wasn't happy with the food. I got the pork hibachi and my boyfriend got ramen. The ramen wasn't bad but it wasn't worth the cost; it did have a lot of toppings though so that was nice. The ginger soy sauce that came with my pork had a strange fruity taste that wasn't recognizable to me and I wasn't a huge fan of that. The pork was well cooked for what it was, but for me personally it was way too much meat and not enough rice at all. The veggies were bit over cooked. The presentation of the place is good. I love their chicken clean pad Thai and the crab rangoon. The Thai noodles are cooked to perfection. The crab rangoon is crispy and tasty. Very clean inside except for several windows which looked like little kids had finger attacked them. The ginger soy sauce is a bit too strong, still good. Shrimp was fresh. Service was good and accommodating. Suggestion to Bent Go: please recycle or place a recyclable receptacle out for customers to throw away all their plastic. All of your dishware, utensils etc is plastic. When I went to dispose of my trash it was full of plastic in the trash can. Neither of us are usually ones to post a yelp review but seeing as this place is new and a little hidden to a passing driver who doesn't live around the neighborhood, figured it couldn't hurt. The staff was very friendly and more than willing to explain anything we had questions about the menu of our first visit.
