    Breakfast Bagel
    Clay G.

This is a solid value play at O'Hare. For $8 plus tax, you get a breakfast bagel with your choice of meat with egg and cheese. It's not the best breakfast bagel I've ever had but it gets the job done. Would definitely come back.

Roast beef panini ... roast beef, cheese, and sautéed onions ... pickle ... root beer soda

The open glass display of the making of my roast beef panini was excellent. Professional carver for sure. The individual at the register was very polite and knew how to keep the line moving. Very good experience getting my food and drink. Sitting down and eating my food was pleasant. I sat with a nice view of the bar and TVs and of the planes outside. Airport noise.

Got Cuban sandwich to go to eat on a long flight since not crazy for airplane's foods much. It's quite delis with nice service, they do have seating and bar seating area. Small but cozy.

After walking through the options in concourse C, this felt like the best option for hot food. While a bit heavy for breakfast, I got the Cuban sandwich, and the hearty flavors definitely took me by surprise. Priced at $13 (great for airport prices), it was an extremely generous serving of shredded pork, layered with two thick sliced of ham and some melted provolone cheese, served with a dill pickle. The shredded pork was juicy and tender and tasted freshly made. Also got a cappuccino, which I was satisfied with. Both sandwich makers and the cashier were friendly and helpful in giving recommendations. As for ambiance, you order and pay first and find a place to sit out. It was very crowded when I went, so don't go expecting a quiet, relaxing place to eat.

Located next to C26, Berghoff was busy around 8 am. There was a line but it moved quickly (maybe 5 min) A good selection of made to order Omelettes and breakfast sandwiches. I wanted an Omelette but needed to take away so I got the Deluxe Croissant. The Croissant didn't have the usual flaky and was more like bread from a texture perspective. Once I got past that, the interior of this sandwich (eggs, mushrooms, bacon, Jack Cheese) were tasty and hit the spot. Ordered a medium Cappuccino, (either 2% milk or Oat are the choices) It was good but more of a Latte vs Cappuccino. Service was quick and friendly. They have a solid process and I was able to get my food quickly although made to order. Good one for Breakfast.

I really was not expecting to to find a sandwich that good in the airport but I'm glad I did. Service was excellent!!! Adam's Street beer is a good beer

A ver messy quesadilla. WITH NO CHEESE!
    Jesse N.

I stopped for a quick lunch. I ordered the chicken quesadilla bc it would be convenient to eat while I wait for my plane. It was not a quesadilla... it was a tortilla with red sauce and chicken pieces. Not many chicken pieces AND NO CHEESE! It was a mess. The staff was prompt but they are under pressure with the line of people so it's very impersonal. The restaurant is small and very few sitting areas. I won't try this place again but you should check them out and make up your own mind.

Buffalo Chicken Wrap and a side of fries

Had quite a long layover and this was the closest "real" restaurant to our gate. We grabbed a couple seats at the bar and ordered a drink. The bartender started a tab for us and said we could walk to the other side of the cafe to order food and they can use the same tab, which worked great. It was nice to see all of the displays of sandwiches/wraps they offered since the menu is more like a traditional deli where you can create whatever you want. The wrap wasn't horrible but I didn't love the blue cheese and I wasn't aware it was on it. The fries were crispy and I enjoyed them. It only took about 5 minutes for them to make my food and there wasn't a line. The staff was great and the bartenders took great care of us. Overall, your typical airport bar with overpriced food/drinks but you get exactly what you expect.

Food was really, really good! Impressed. Top 3 Cubans I've ever had and I'm from NYC. Service was good, greeted with conversation and a smile. Ambiance was chill casual, not pushy, not crowded.

Deluxe croissant with sausage, a side of hash brown, and an apple juice

6am and this place is already packed! Everything here is fresh made in front of you and the guys working here are all smiles and niceties. The food was a bit sloppy and nothing crazy in terms of taste but it definitely hit the spot after a red-eye before my next flight.

This review goes solely to our bartender. I was hoping they had the thuringer sausage, but they did not. You can get it in the Loop at their main restaurant. Max and I got to the airport 7 hours too early. This gave us ample time to roam around. My coffee drink was outstanding. Bar area is small, but the seats are comfy.

    Reuben sandwich
    Brittany E.

I don't know if I have ever been impressed with food at an airport before. However, the Reuben sandwich I had at Berghoff was fantastic. It had the right amount of meat, sauerkraut, sauce, and bread. It was also HUGE. I was really happy with the price per portion. The staff was also helpful and quick with service. I will 100% grab a sandwich from here in the future.

Rude, and they literally kick you out before closing. Typical airport trap, but at that price you can let me finish the drink I paid for.

Finding good German food that hasn't been Americanized is difficult and few places actually serve German cuisine like it is in Germany with their high food quality over there. So I ordered the daily special that was Jägerschnitzel (hunter's schnizel/breaded pork tenderloin with a mushroom gravy or sauce) and for an appetizer I ordered jalapeño poppers along with the authentic German goulash soup and pumpernickel bread were very good. The Jägerschnitzel sauce that is a mushroom sauce was a little unique but very good. I especially liked the spatzle noodles and the red cabbage (rotkohl) and it's just like I would get in Germany so I loved both side dishes a lot. Cool, old-timey feel to the restaurant and the service is impeccable as well. I left full and was sorry I didn't have room for the strudel they make in house, maybe next time!

The wine list also looked very good. I stuck with an HB and it was just fine. The cost of the food and drink I would say is on par with most places however, this is all home-cooked food. A far step up above many places. Definitely worth a visit.
