Finally replaced our old wooden garage doors with roll ups and it was an amazing transformation thanks to JMK! Company owner John personally and promptly came to our home to take measurements and size up the project. I immediately felt like we were in good hands as he carefully assessed what the job would entail which included some added carpentry. He was totally up front with all the details and we plunged in. Two days before delivery, he showed up with one of his installers, Louis, and remeasured and went over what the job would require. Two days later Louis and Chris showed up and in 3 short hours were done. I mean done done! Great Service/Knowledgeable Staff I chose JMK Garage Doors to provide repair on my door based upon their longevity in business and great reviews. They are also state licensed which is important to me. There are others who are not and your recourse is better with the ability to complain to the state if a serious issue arose. Starting with my initial phone call, the woman who took my call was patient and thorough getting the information needed to repair the door, provided a fair quote and set a time that was convenient to me. Luis, the serviceman, arrived within the scheduled appt. time went over the work requested and proceeded to make the repair and adjust the door tracks, lubricate and test the door numerous times to make sure I as satisfied with the repair. JMK couldn't help me because my door was manufactured by another company. I understand that. However, they never asked me the manufacturer when I called to set up the appointment. I was charged $40 for an "assessment" that took longer to write the receipt than to tell me they couldn't help. Not sure how the service is but Overhead looked at my door for free. read more

We called Wednesday night, Louis was out first thing Thursday morning and within an hour, had everything replaced, wired and he even fixed some things that were wrong with the original installation. My garage door would not go down. I called about 7:45 am, and left a message. I received a return call at 8, and was quoted a 9-11am range of time for arrival. Right at 9, the worker arrived, took a look at the door and gave me a very reasonable quote. He not only got the cables back in place, but tightened the spring, lubed everything, adjusted the joists so that the tracks were more in line, and nailed back down my trim that was coming loose! So I saw the reviews on Yelp while looking for someone to repair a broken spring. Reviews looked good, so I called at 8:30 am on Friday. The person answering the phone was pleasant, she said she could have someone there between 11-1 and she estimated 185 for repair. The tech arrived promptly at 11. He fixed the door quickly, he used a heavier duty spring and charged 185. What could be better. Great service. read more

They arrived early to replace my garage door springs and replace a couple of missing rollers. They noticed that a panel on the door had a small fissure. They installed support to keep the door more stable in that panel. The door works like new again with new springs and two new rollers. They even did some maintenance work on my other garage door which works much better now. I highly recommend them. read more

All I can say is wow! Don't call anyone else. This company is number 1. One of my torsion springs broke and all the other local companies wouldn't even give me a price on the phone. Heck, this company was the only one that you could actually understand the person on the phone. What is nice is it was actually the owner. JMK Garage Doors gave me a quote over the phone. After talking to my neighbors and friends, I found out I paid about 60% less then what they all paid for the same service.
